- Instruction: Birthday of Prophet Muhammad (s) (1st Aamulfil ie. The Elephants Year).
- Instruction (Urdu): علماء شیعہ امامیہ میں یہ قول مشہور و معروف ہے کہ یہ رسول اللہؐ کا یوم ولادت ہے اور ان کے درمیان یہ بات بھی مسلّم ہے کہ آپ کی ولادت باسعادت روزِ جمعہ طلوعِ فجر کے وقت اپنے گھر میں ہوئی جب کہ عام الفیل کا پہلا سال اور نوشیرواں عادل کا زمانۂ حکومت تھا۔ آج کے دن مسلمانوں کو خاص طور پر خوشی منانی چاہیے،وہ اس دن کی بہت تعظیم کریں،صدقہ و خیرات دیں اور مومنین کو خوش کریں۔نیز ائمۂ طاہرینؑ کے روضہ ہائے مقدسہ کی زیارت کریں سیدؒ نے کتاب اقبال میں آج کے دن کی تعظیم و تکریم کا تفصیلی تذکرہ کیا اور فرمایا ہے : عیسائیوں اور مسلمانوں کا ایک گروہ حضرت عیسٰیؑ کی ولادت کے دن کی بہت یاد کرتے ہیں، لیکن مجھے ان پر تعجب ہوتا ہے کہ کیوں وہ آنحضرتؐ کے یومِ ولادت کی تعظیم نہیں کرتے جو حضرت عیسٰیؑ کی نسبت بلند مرتبہ ہیں اور ان سے بڑھ کر فضیلت رکھتے ہیں۔

- Instruction: Birthday of Imam Jafar Sadiq (a) (83H).
- Instruction (Urdu): نیز۸۳؁ھ میں اسی دن امام جعفر صادقؑ کی ولادت باسعادت ہوئی لہٰذا اس دن کی عظمت و بزرگی میں اور بھی اضافہ ہوا۔

- Instruction: It is recommended to observe fasting on this day, which brings about the reward of observing fasting for a whole year. It is, in fact, one of the 4 days the observance of fasting on which has been exclusively confirmed.
- Instruction (Urdu): آج کے دن روزہ رکھنے کی بڑی فضیلت ہے،روایت نقل ہوئی ہے : اللہ تعالیٰ اس دن کا روزہ رکھنے والے کو ایک سال کے روزے رکھنے کا ثواب عطا فرمائے گا،آج کا دن سال کے ان چار دنوں میں سے ایک ہے کہ جن میں روزہ رکھنا خاص فضیلت و اہمیت کا حامل ہے۔

- Instruction: Perform Ghusl (spiritual bath).
- Instruction (Urdu): غسل کرے۔

- Instruction: Give alms (Sadqah).
- Instruction (Urdu): صدقہ دیں۔

- Instruction: Recite [Ziyarat Rasool-e-Khuda (s)](https://fzic.org/library/ziyarat/rasool-e-khuda-s-1467).
- Instruction (Urdu): آج کے دن دور و نزدیک سے [زیارت رسول خداؐ](https://fzic.org/library/ziyarat/rasool-e-khuda-s-1467) پڑھے۔

- Instruction (Urdu): آج کے دن دور و نزدیک سے [زیارت امام جعفر صادقؑ](https://fzic.org/library/ziyarat/imam-sadiq-a-1474) پڑھے۔

- Instruction: It is recommended to visit the Shrine of the Holy Prophet (s) and recite ziyarat of 17th R.Awwal.
- Instruction (Urdu): آج کے دن دور و نزدیک سے حضرت [رسولؐ کی ۱۷ ربیع الاول](https://fzic.org/library/ziyarat/17th-r-awwal-2957) کی زیارت پڑھے۔

- Instruction: It is recommended to visit the Shrine of Imam Ali (a) and recite ziyarat of 17th R.Awwal.
- Instruction (Urdu): اس دن امام علیؑ کی ۱۷؍ربیع الاول کی زیارت پڑھے،جو امام جعفر صادقؑ نے پڑھی اور محمد ابن مسلم کو تعلیم فرمائی تھی۔

- Instruction: It is recommended to offer, in the forenoon, 2 rakat namaz, in each rakat after [Surah Fateha](https://fzic.org/library/quran/1-fateha-7-1074) recite [Surah Qadr](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170) and [Surah Ikhlaas](https://fzic.org/library/quran/112-ikhlaas-4-1185) 10 times each. After namaz recite dua [Allahumma Anta Hayyoon](https://fzic.org/library/amaal/allahumma-anta-hayyoon-4440).
- Instruction (Urdu): جب سورج تھوڑا سا بلند ہو جائے تو ۲ رکعت نماز بجا لائے جس کی ہر رکعت میں [سورۂ فاتحہ](https://fzic.org/library/quran/1-fateha-7-1074) کے بعد ۱۰ مرتبہ [سورۂ قدر](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170) اور ۱۰ مرتبہ [سورۂ اخلاص](https://fzic.org/library/quran/112-ikhlaas-4-1185) پڑھے نماز کے بعد مصلیٰ پر بیٹھ کر دعا [اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ حَيٌّ](https://fzic.org/library/amaal/allahumma-anta-hayyoon-4440) پڑھے۔
