# 1st Night Dua

## Text

- Instruction: It is recommended by Imam Taqi (a) to say dua [Allahumma ya mai yamleko](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-ya-mai-yamleko-2734) while raising the hands after the Maghrib Namaz.
- Instruction (Urdu): نمازِ مغرب کے بعد اپنے ہاتھ بلند کرکے دعا [اَللّٰہُمَّ یَامَنْ یَّمْلِکُ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-ya-mai-yamleko-2734) پڑھے جو امام جوادؑ سے واردہوئی ہے اور اقبال میں مذکور ہے۔

- Instruction: It is recommended to say dua [Allahumma... munzelal](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-munzelal-2735) that is reported from Imam Ja`far Sadiq (a) as is mentioned in the book of al-Iqbal.
- Instruction (Urdu): مستحب ہے کہ دعا [اَللّٰهُمَّ۔۔۔ مُنَزِّلَ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-munzelal-2735) پڑھے جو امام جعفر صادقؑ سے کتاب اقبال میں منقول ہے۔

- Instruction: Also recite dua [Allahumma qad hazara](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-qad-hazara-2736).
- Instruction (Urdu): طلوعِ فجر کے بعددعا [اَللّٰہُمَّ قَدْ حَضَرَ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-qad-hazara-2736) پڑھے۔

- Instruction: Recite dua [Allahumma innahu qad](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-innahu-qad-2737)
- Instruction (Urdu): دعا [اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّهٗ قَدْ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-innahu-qad-2737) پڑھے۔

- Instruction: Recite dua [Allahumma… lazi daana](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-lazi-daana-2738)
- Instruction (Urdu): دعا [اَللّٰهُمَّ۔۔۔ الَّذِيْ دَانَ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-lazi-daana-2738) پڑھے۔

- Instruction: The Holy Prophet (s) is also reported to have said dua [Alhamdo lillahil lazi](https://fzic.org/library/dua/alhamdo-lillahil-lazi-2739) at the first night of Ramazan.
- Instruction (Urdu): یہ روایت بھی نقل ہوئی ہے کہ حضرت رسول اﷲؐماہِ رمضان کی پہلی رات میں دعا [اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/alhamdo-lillahil-lazi-2739) پڑھتے تھے۔

- Instruction: It is narrated by Syed Ibne Tawoos in Iqbal Al-Amaal that it is also recommended to say dua [Allaahumma Inna Haazaa Shahro](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allaahumma-inna-haazaa-shahro-3483) on the 1st night of Mahe Ramazan.
- Instruction (Urdu): سیدؒ نے اقبال میں نقل فرمائی ہے کہ ماہِ رمضان کی پہلی شب میں دُعا [اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّ هٰذَا شَهْرُ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allaahumma-inna-haazaa-shahro-3483) بھی پڑھے۔

- Instruction: Imam Sadiq (a) used to say dua [Allahumma inna haazash](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-inna-haazash-2705) at the last night of Shaban and the first night of Ramazan.
- Instruction (Urdu): امام صادقؑ دعا[اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّ هٰذَا الشَّهْرَ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-inna-haazash-2705) کو ماہِ شعبان کی آخری شب اور ماہِ رمضان کی پہلی شب میں پڑھا کرتے تھے۔

- Instruction: It is recommended to recite dua [Jawshan-e-Kabir](https://fzic.org/library/dua/jawshan-e-kabir-1277) on the 1st night of Ramazan.
- Instruction (Urdu): ماہ رمضان کی پہلی رات میں دعائے [جوشن کبیر](https://fzic.org/library/dua/jawshan-e-kabir-1277) کا پڑھنا مستحب ہے۔
