### 25th Zilqadah Creation of Land

- Instruction: This night is called Laylatul Dahwul Arz. Imam Reza (a) said, “At the 25th night of Ziqadah, Prophet Abraham was born, Prophet Jesus the son of Mary was born, and the earth was spread on the water where the Holy Kaaba is now situated. Hence, if one observes fasting on this day, he will be given the reward of observing fasting in 60 months”. According to another narration, Imam Reza (a) added, “Verily, on this day, Al-Qaaem (Imam Mahdi (a)) will appear.”
- Instruction (Urdu): یہ دحوالارض کی رات ہے کہ اس میں خانۂ کعبہ کے نیچے زمین پانی پر بچھائی گئی تھی۔ یہ بڑی فضیلت والی رات ہے کہ اس میں اللہ تعالیٰ کی رحمت نازل ہوتی ہے۔ لہٰذا اس میں مصروفِ عبادت رہنا باعثِ اجر و ثواب ہے۔ حسن ابن علی وشا سے روایت ہے : میں کم سن تھا کہ ایک مرتبہ ۲۵ ذیقعد کی رات کو اپنے والد کے ساتھ امام علی رضاؑ کے ہاں گیا اور رات کا کھانا حضرتؑ کے ساتھ کھایا تو آپ نے فرمایا : آج کی رات ہی میں حضرت ابراہیمؑ اور حضرت عیسیٰؑ پیدا ہوئے اور روئے زمین کو خانۂ کعبہ کے نیچے بچھایا گیا۔ جو شخص اس دن روزہ رکھے تو گویااس نے ساٹھ مہینوں کے روزے رکھے ہیں۔ ایک روایت کے مطابق آپ نے فرمایا : وہ یہی دن ہوگا جس میں قائم آل محمدؑ کا قیام شروع ہوگا۔

- Instruction: The 25th Ziqadah is one of the four days on which fasting is highly recommended. According to a narration, to observe fasting on this day is equal to 70 years of fasting. It also erases the sins of 70 years. To practice acts of worship at its night is equal (in reward) to 100 years of worship. Everything that is between the sky and the earth will ask God’s forgiveness for one who does these rites. On this day, the mercy of Almighty Allah has been spread.
- Instruction (Urdu): یہ سال بھر کے ان چار دنوں میں سے ایک ہے کہ جن میں روزہ رکھنے کی خاص فضیلت ہے، ایک روایت میں ہے کہ اس دن کا روزہ ستّر سال کے روزے کے مانند ہے۔ ایک روایت میں ہے کہ اس دن کا روزہ ستّر سال کے گناہوں کا کفارہ ہے، جو شخص اس دن روزہ رکھے اور اس کی رات میں عبادت کرے تو اس کے لئے سو سال کی عبادت لکھی جائے گی۔ آج کے دن روزہ رکھنے والے کے لئے ہر وہ چیز استغفار کرے گی جو زمین و آسمان میں ہے۔ یہ وہ دن ہے جس میں خدا کی رحمت دنیا میں عام ہوتی ہے، اس دن ذکر و عبادت کے لئے جمع ہونے کا بہت بڑا اجر ہے۔
