## About this text

The text given here joins short declarations with longer passages. The reciter declares that Allah is the Greatest and that there is no god save Allah, glorifies and praises Him, and sends blessings upon Muhammad and his progeny. Between these come passages affirming that the kingdom of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah, who creates what He pleases, grants daughters and sons to whom He pleases and makes barren whom He pleases, and that He sends down water from the cloud to purify, to take away uncleanness, and to fortify hearts and steady footsteps.

## Text

### The benefits of the Rain Water in the Month of Neesa'n (Roman Calendar) which comes 23 days after Navroz.

- Arabic: اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHU AKBAR.
- English: Allah is Greatest.
- Urdu: اللہ بزرگ تر ہے۔

- Arabic: لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللہُ۔
- Transliteration: LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHO
- English: There is no god save Allah.
- Urdu: اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN
- English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
- Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔

- Arabic: لِلهِ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاۗءُ يَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۗءُ اِنَاثًا وَّيَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۗءُ الذُّكُوْرَ
- Transliteration: LILLAAHI MULKUS SAMAAWAATI WAL ARD; YAKHLUQU MAA YASHAAA’; YAHABU LIMAI YASHAAA’U INAASANW WA YAHABU LIMAI YASHAAA’UZ ZUKOOR.
- English: Allah’s is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He creates what He pleases; He grants to whom He pleases daughters and grants to whom He pleases sons.
- Urdu: بےشک آسمان و زمین کا اختیار صرف اللہ کے ہاتھوں میں ہے وہ جو کچھ چاہتا ہے پیدا کرتا ہے جس کو چاہتا ہے بیٹیاں عطا کرتا ہے اور جس کوچاہتا ہے بیٹے عطا کرتا ہے۔

- Arabic: اَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًا وَّاِنَاثًا وَّيَجْعَلُ مَنْ يَّشَاۗءُ عَقِيْمًا اِنَّهٗ عَلِيْمٌ قَدِيْرٌ
- Transliteration: AW YUZAWWIJUHUM ZUKRAANANW WA INAASANW WA YAJ’ALU MAI YASHAAA’U ’AQEEMAA; INNAHOO ’ALEEMUN QADEER.
- English: Or He makes them of both sorts, male and female; and He makes whom He pleases barren; surely He is the Knowing, the Powerful.
- Urdu: یا پھر بیٹے اور بیٹیاں دونوں کو جمع  کر دیتا ہے اور جس کو چاہتا ہے بانجھ ہی بنا دیتا ہے یقینًا وہ صاحبِ علم بھی ہے اور صاحبِ قدرت و اختیار بھی ہے۔

- Arabic: لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللہُ۔
- Transliteration: LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHO
- English: There is no god save Allah.
- Urdu: اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN

- Transliteration: SUBHAANALLAHE WAL HAMDO LILLAAHE WA-LA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHO WALLAAHO AKBAR.
- English: All glory be to Allah; all praise be to Allah; there is no god save Allah; Allah is the Greatest.
- Urdu: پاک ہے اﷲاور حمد اﷲہی کے لئے ہے اور اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبودنہیں اور اﷲبزرگ تر ہے۔

- Arabic: …وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاۗءِ مَاۗءً لِّيُطَهِّرَكُمْ بِهٖ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطٰنِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الْاَقْدَامَ.
- Transliteration: ...WA YUNAZZILU ’ALAIKUM MINAS SAMAAA’I MAAA’AL LIYUTAH HIRAKUM BIHEE WA YUZHIBA ’ANKUM RIJZASH SHAITAANI WA LIYARBITA ’ALA QULOOBIKUM WA YUSABBITA BIHIL AQDAAM.
- English: ...and sent down upon you water from the cloud that He might thereby purify you, and take away from you the uncleanness of the Shaitan, and that He might fortify your hearts and steady (your) footsteps thereby.
- Urdu: ۔۔۔اور آسمان سے پانی نازل کررہا تھا تاکہ تمہیں پاکیزہ بنادے اور تم سے شیطان کی کثافت کو دور کردے اور تمہارے دلوں کو مطمئن بنادے اور تمہارے قدموں کو ثبات عطا کردے۔
