# New Moon

- Instruction: Recite [Surah Muhammad](https://fzic.org/library/quran/47-muhammad-38-1120) after seeing New Moon.
- Instruction (Urdu): ماہِ رمضان کا چاند دیکھے بلکہ بعض علماء نے تو ہلالِ رمضان کا دیکھنا واجب قرار دیا ہے۔ چاند (ہلال) دیکھے تو [سورۂ محمد](https://fzic.org/library/quran/47-muhammad-38-1120) کی تلاوت کرے۔

- Instruction: Recite dua [Rabbi wa Rabbokallaho](https://fzic.org/library/dua/rabbi-wa-rabbokallaho-2706).
- Instruction (Urdu): دُعا [رَبِّیْ وَرَبُّکَ اللہُ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/rabbi-wa-rabbokallaho-2706) پڑھے۔

- Instruction: When the Holy Prophet (s) would see the new moon of Ramazan, he would turn his face towards Qibla and recite dua [Allahumma ahillahu](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-ahillahu-2707).
- Instruction (Urdu): روایت نقل ہوئی ہے کہ جب حضرت رسول اﷲؐماہِ مبارک رمضان کا نیا چاند دیکھتے تو قبلہ رُخ ہو کر دعا [اَللّٰهُمَّ اَهِلَّهٗ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-ahillahu-2707) پڑھتے۔

- Instruction: It is related from Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a) that when you see the new moon you must recite dua [Allahumma qad hazara shahre Ramazan](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-qad-hazara-shahre-ramazan-2708).
- Instruction (Urdu): امام جعفر صادقؑ سے منقول ہے : ہلالِ رمضان دیکھتے وقت دعا [اَللّٰهُمَّ قَدْ حَضَرَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-qad-hazara-shahre-ramazan-2708) پڑھے۔
