## Text

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ اَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْاَمْنِ وَالْاِيْمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْاِسْلَامِ رَبِّيْ وَرَبُّكَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA AHIL-LAHU A’LAIY-NAA BIL-AMNE WAL-IMAANE WAS-SALAA-MATE WAL-ISLAAME RABBEE WA RABBO-KAL-LAAHO A’ZZA WA JALLA.
- English: O Allah, cause it (ie. the moon) to appear carrying for us security, faith, safety, and Islam. Your and my Lord is Allah, the Glorified and Majestic.
- Urdu: اے معبود!نیا چاند ہم پر امن،ایمان، سلامتی اور اسلام کے ساتھ طلوع کر(اے چاند!) تیرا اور میرا رب وہ اﷲ ہے جو عزّت و جلالت والا ہے۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيْ رَجَبٍ وَشَعْبَانَ وَبَلِّغْنَا شَهْرَ رَمَضَانَ وَاَعِنَّا عَلَى الصِّيَامِ وَالْقِيَامِ وَحِفْظِ اللِّسَانِ وَغَضِّ الْبَصَرِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ حَظَّنَا مِنْهُ الْجُوْعَ وَالْعَطَشَ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAAJUMMA BAARIK LANAA FEE RAJA-BIN WA SHA’BAANA WA BALLIGH-NAA SHAHRA RAMAZAANA WA A-I’N-NAA A’LAS-SEYAAME WAL-QEYAAME WA HAFZIL LESAANE WA GHAZZIL; BASARE WA LAA TAJ-A’L HAZZA-NAA MINGUL JOO-A’ WAL-A’TA-SHA.
- English: O Allah, (please do) pour out Your blessings upon us in Rajab and Sha`ban, make us reach Ramazan, and help us observe fasting, do acts of worship, suppress our tongues (from saying anything improper), and cast down our eyes (against what is forbidden for us to look at). Do not make our share of Rama¤?n is only hunger and thirst.
- Urdu: اے معبود! رجب اور شعبان میں ہم پر برکت نازل فرما اور ہمیں رمضان کے مہینے میں داخل فرما اور ہماری مدد کر دن کے روزے، رات کے قیام، زبان کو روکنے اور نگاہیں نیچی رکھنے میں اوراس مہینے میں ہمارا حصہ محض بھوک وپیاس قرار نہ دے۔
