# Affection & Inclination towards Non-Believers

- Instruction: From many Qur’anic verses and traditions, we can conclude that a Muslim individual is required to steer clear of showing love, sharing mutual affection, and inclining towards the non-believers as well as assimilating himself/herself to them and following their ways. In this respect, Allah the All-exalted says (in the Holy Qur’an 60:7)…
- Instruction (Urdu): مؤلف کہتے ہیں: بہت سی آیات و روایات کے ذریعے  معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ مسلمانوں کو چاہیے کہ کفار کے ساتھ محبت اور مشابہت پیدا نہ کریں اور نہ ہی ان کی روش کو اپنائیں ﷲ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا۔۔۔

- Arabic: قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ اُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فِيْٓ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَالَّذِيْنَ مَعَهٗٓ اِذْ قَالُوْا لِقَوْمِهِمْ اِنَّا بُرَءٰۗ ؤُا مِنْكُمْ وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَاۗءُ اَبَدًا۔۔۔
- Transliteration: QAD KAANAT LAKUM USWATUN HASANATUN FEEE IBRAAHEEMA WALLAZEENA MA’AHOO IZ QAALOO LIQAWMIHIM INNAA BURA ’AAA’U MINKUM WA MIMMAA TA’BUDOONA MIN DOONIL LAAHI KAFARNAA BIKUM WA BADAA BAINANAA WA BAINAKUMUL ’ADAAWATU WAL BAGHDAAA’U ABADAN…
- English: Indeed, there is for you a good example in Ibrahim and those with him when they said to their people: Surely we are clear of you and of what you serve besides Allah; we declare ourselves to be clear of you, and enmity and hatred have appeared between us and you forever…
- Urdu: تمہارے لئے بہترین نمونہ عمل ابراہیمؑ اور ان کے ساتھیوں میں ہے جب انہوں نے اپنی قوم سے کہہ دیا کہ ہم تم سے اور تمہارے معبودوں سے بیزار ہیں، ہم نے تمہارا انکار کر دیا ہے اور ہمارے تمہارے درمیان بغض اور عداوت بالکل واضح ہے۔۔۔

- Instruction: Shaikh Saduq has reported Imam Sadiq (a) as saying, “Almighty Allah inspired to one of His prophets to convey this message to the believers: Do not dress yourselves with the costumes of My enemies, do not eat what they eat, and do not behave like them; lest, you will be My enemies as they are.” In view of that, traditions have forbidden from certain acts for no reason more than avoiding imitating the nonbelievers.
- Instruction (Urdu): شیخ صدوق ؒنے امام جعفر صادق  ؑ سے روایت کی ہے کہ ایک نبی ؑکی طرف یہ وحی آئی : اے نبی! مومنوں سے کہہ دو کہ میرے دشمنوں کا جیسا لباس نہ پہنو، میرے دشمنوں جیسی خوراک نہ کھاؤ اور میرے دشمنوں کی روش پر نہ چلو ورنہ تم لوگ بھی میرے دشمن تصور کیے جاؤ گے جیسے وہ میرے دشمن ہیں، اسی وجہ سے بہت سی روایتوں میں  مذکور ہے کہ فلاں عمل کو بجا لاؤ اور خود کو کفار کے مشا بہ نہ کرو۔
