# Allahumma Waffiqni

## About this text

A short supplication for a day of the holy month of Ramadan. The reciter asks Allah for accord with what is good and distance from what is evil, and to be led by His mercy to the everlasting abode. It is one of the daily duas recited through the days of Ramadan.

## Text

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰھُمَّ وَفِّقْنِیْ فِیْہِ لِمَوَافِقَۃِ الْاَبْرَارِ وَاجَنِّبْنِیْ فِیْہِ مُرَافِقَۃِ الْاَشْرَارِ وَاٰوَنِیْ فِیْہِ بِرَحْمَتِکَ اِلٰی دَارِالْقَرَارِ بِاِلٰھَیَّتِکَ یَااِلٰہَ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA WAF-FIQNEE FEEHE LE-MAWAA-FE-QATIL AB-RAARE WA JANNIB-NEE FEEHE MORAA-FE-QATIL ASH-RAARE WA AA-WA-NEE FEEHE BE-RAHMATE-KA ILAA DAARIL QARAARE BE-ELAAHIY-YATE-KA YAA ILAA-HAL AA’LAMEEN.
- English: O Allah! On this day, grant me compatability with the good, keep me away from patching up with the evil, lead me in it, by Your mercy, to the permanent abode, by Your Godship, O the God of the worlds.
- Urdu: اے معبود! آج کے دن مجھے نیکوں سے موافقت کرنے کی توفیق عطا فرما اس میں مجھ کو بروں کے ساتھ سے بچائے رکھ اور اس میں اپنی رحمت سے مجھے دار القرار میں جگہ عطا فرما اپنی معبودیت کے واسطے سے اے جہانوں کے معبود۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN
- English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
- Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
