- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا خَرَجْتُ لَهٗ وَاَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَرَجْتُ لَهٗ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اَوْسِعْ عَلَىَّ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَاَتْمِمْ عَلَىَّ نِعْمَتَكَ وَاسْتَعْمِلْنِىْ فِىْ طَاعَتِكَ وَاجْعَلْ رَغْبَتِىْ فِيْ مَا عِنْدَكَ وَتَوَفَّنِىْ عَلٰى مِلَّتِكَ وَمِلَّةِ رَسُوْلِكَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهٖ۔
- Transliteration: BISMILLAA-HE TAWAKKAL-TO ‘ALAL LAAHE LAA HAWLA WA LAA QUWWATA ILLAA BILLAA-HE. ALLAAHUMMA INNEE AS-ALOKA KHAIRA MAA KHA-RAJ-TO LAHU WA A’OOZO-BEKA MIN SHARRE-MAA KHA-RAJ-TO LAHU. ALLAAHUMMA AW-SE’ ‘ALAIY-YA MIN FAZLE-KA WA AT-MIM ‘ALAIYYA NE’MATA-KA WAS TA’MIL-NEE FEE TAA’ATE-KA WAJ’AL RAGH-BA-TEE FEE MAA ‘IN-DAKA WA TA-WAFFA-NEE ‘ALAA MILLA-TEKA WA MILLA-TE RASOOLE-KA SALLAL LAAHO ‘ALAIY-HE WA AALE-HI.
- English: In the Name of Allah (I begin). In Allah I put my trust. There is neither might nor power except with Allah. O Allah, I beseech You for success in what I am leaving to do and pray Your protection against failure in what I am leaving to do. O Allah, (please) expand Your favors to me, make perfect Your graces to me, dedicate me to obedience to You, make me desire for what You have in possession, and cause me to die carrying the principles You have instructed and the principles of Your Messenger, may Allah bless him and his Household.
- Urdu: خدا کے نام سے ميں نے خدا پر بھروسہ کيا، نہيں کوئی حرکت وقوت مگر جو خدا سے ہے۔ اے معبود! ميں تجھ سے بہتری چاہتا ہوں جس کام کے لئے جارہا ہوں تيری پناه ليتا ہوں اس کے شر سے جس کام کے لئے نکلا ہوں۔ اے معبود! مجھ پر اپنے فضل ميں اضافہ فرما اور مجھے تمام نعمتيں عطا فرما، مجھے اپنی فرمانبرداری ميں لگا دے، مجھے اس ميں رغبت دلا جو کچھ تيرے یہاں ہے اور مجھ کو اپنے دين اور اپنے رسولؐ کے دين پر موت دے نا۔
