## About this text

A short recitation kept among the duas for illness and disease.

Its whole text is one form of tasbih, and the measure in it is what makes it distinctive: glory be to Allah in a glorification that fills the scale, that reaches the utmost limit of forbearance, that attains the fullest measure of His pleasure, and that equals the weight of the Throne.

## Text

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ مَلَ‏ءِ الْمِيْزَانِ، وَمُنْتَهَى الْحَلِمْ وَمُبَلِّغَ الرَّضَا، وَزِنَةَ الْعَرْشِ۔
- Transliteration: SUBHAANAL LAAHE MALA-IL MEE-ZAANE, WA MUNTA-HAL HALIM WA MO-BALLE-GHAR RAZAA, WA ZENA-TAL A’RSHE.
- English: Glory be to Allah (glorification) that fills the scale, reaches the utmost limit of forbearance, attains the fullest measure of pleasure, and equals the weight of the Throne.
- Urdu: پاک تر ہے اﷲ میزان کے اندازے کے مطابق بردباری کی انتہا تک رضا کی رسائی تک اور عرش کے وزن تک۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN
- English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
- Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
