- Instruction: Imam Sadiq (a) is reported to have advised of the following: For all ailments, you may say this supplicatory prayer…
- Instruction (Urdu): منقول ہے کہ امام جعفر صادق  ؑ نے فر ما یا : درد کے وقت یہ دعا پڑھو۔۔۔

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللهِ وَ بِاللهِ‏ كَمْ مِنْ نِعْمَةَ لِلهِ فِىْ عَرْقَ سَاكِنْ وَغَيْرِ سَاكِنْ، عَلٰى عِبْدُ شَاكِرَ وَغَيْرُ شَاكِرَ۔
- Transliteration: BISMILLAA-HE WA BILLAA-HE KAMMIN NE’MATA LILLAA-HE FEE ‘ARQA SAAKIN WA GHAIY-RE SAAKIN, ‘ALAA ‘IBDO SHAAKE-RA WA GHAIY-RO SHAAKER.
- English: In the Name of Allah (I begin) and in Allah (I trust). Too many are the graces of Allah in the calm and the stirred up veins to grateful and ungrateful servants (of Him).
- Urdu: خدا کے نام سے خدا کی ذات سے خدا کی کتنی نعمتیں جو ساکن اور متحرک رگوں میں  ہیں شکر کرنے والے اور ناشکرے بندوں پر۔

- Instruction: Upon accomplishing an obligatory prayer, you may grasp your beard with your right hand and repeat the following supplicatory prayer 3 times…
- Instruction (Urdu): پھر فریضہ نماز کے بعد اپنے دائیں ہاتھ سے اپنی دا ڑھی کو پکڑ کے ۳ مر تبہ کہے۔۔۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ فَرَّجَ عِنِّىْ كُرْبَتِىْ‏ وَعَجِّلْ عَافِيَتِىْ وَاكَشْفَ ضُرِّىْ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA FARRAJA ‘INNEE KURBATI WA ‘AJJIL ‘AAFE-YATEE WA KASH-FA ZURREE.
- English: O Allah, (please) relieve me from my agony, hasten my healing, and remove my harm.
- Urdu: اے معبود! میری مصیبت دور کر دے جلد عا فیت عطا کر اور میرا غم مٹا دے۔

- Instruction: Make sure that you associate this supplicatory prayer with tears and weeping.
- Instruction (Urdu): اس میں  کوشش کریں کہ یہ عمل گریہ اور آنسوؤں کے ساتھ انجام پائے۔
