- Instruction: It is reported that a man came to Imam Ali Amir Mu’minin (a) and complained about the delay in response of his prayers. “Have you tried the swift-responded prayer?” Imam Ali (a) asked. “What prayer do you mean?” asked the man. - Instruction (Urdu): روایت نقل ہوئی ہے : ایک شخص نے امیر المومنینؑ سے اپنی دعاؤں کے دیر سے قبول ہونے کی شکایت کی تو آپ نے فرمایا: تم دعاء سریع الاجابہ‘‘جلد قبول ہونے والی دعا کیوں نہیں پڑھتے؟! اس نے پوچھا : وہ کون سی دعا ہے ؟آپؑ نے فرمایا: وہ دعا یہ ہے۔۔۔

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْعَظِيْمِ الْاَعْظَمِ الْاَجَلِّ الْاَكْرَمِ الْمَخْزُوْنِ الْمَكْنُوْنِ النُّوْرِ الْحَقِّ الْبُرْهَانِ الْمُبِيْنَ الَّذِىْ هُوَ نُوْرٌ مَعَ نُوْرٍ وَنُوْرٌ مِنْ نُوْرٍ وَنُوْرٌ فِىْ نُوْرٍ وَنُوْرٌ عَلٰى كُلِّ نُوْرٍ وَنُوْرٌ فَوْقَ كُلِّ نُوْرٍ وَنُوْرٌ تُضِيْءُ بِهٖ كُلُّ ظُلْمَةٍ وَيُكْسَرُ بِهٖ كُلُّ شِدَّةٍ وَكُلُّ شَيْطَانٍ مَرِيْدٍ وَكُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيْدٍ لَا تَقِرُّبِهٖ اَرْضٌ وَلَايَقُوْمُ بِهٖ سَمَاۗءٌ وَيَاْ مَنُ بِهٖ كُلُّ خَاۗئِفٍ وَيَبْطُلُ بِهٖ سِحْرُ كُلِّ سَاحِرٍ وَبَغْىُ كُلِّ بَاغٍ وَحَسَدُ كُلِّ حَاسِدٍ وَيَتَصَدَّعُ لِعَظَمَتِهِ الْبَرُّ وَالْبَحْرُ وَيَسْتَقِلُّ بِهِ الْفُلْكُ حِيْنَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِهِ الْمَلَكُ فَلَا يَكُوْنُ لِلْمَوْجِ عَلَيْهِ سَبِيْلٌ وَهُوَ اسْمُكَ الْاَعْظَمُ الْاَعْظَمُ الْاَجَلُّ الْاَجَلُّ النُّوْرُ الْاَكْبَرُ الَّذِىْ سَمَّيْتَ بِهٖ نَفْسَكَ وَاسْتَوَيْتَ بِهٖ عَلٰى عَرْشِكَ وَاَتَوَجَّهٗ اِلَيْكَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَّاَهْلِ بَيْتِهٖ وَاَسْئَلُكَ بِكَ وَبِهِمْ اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِىْ كَذَا وَكَذَا۔
- Transliteration: SORRY NOT AVAILABLE
- English: O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Your Name; the great, the greatest, the most majestic, the noblest, the hoarded, the hidden, the brilliant, the true, the manifest demonstration, which is light with light, light out of light, light in light, light on all light, light over all light, and light by which all darkness is shone and all hardships, all rebellious devils, and all obstinate transgressors are unraveled. Neither a land can bear it nor can any sky hold it. Through it, all fearful ones attain security and sorceries of all sorcerers, oppressions of all oppressors, and envy of all envious ones are counteracted. Because of its greatness, all lands and oceans split and all arks stand stable when the angel pronounces it; so, waves will no more have any effect on these arks. It is Your Name; the greatest, the greatest, the most majestic, the most majestic, the grandest light, which You have used for Yourself and by which You have prevailed on Your Throne. I turn my face towards You in the name of Muhammad and his Household and beseech You in the name of You and them to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
- Urdu: اے معبود! میں  تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے عظیم سے عظیم تر نام کے ساتھ کہ جو دبدبہ و عزت والا خزانوں میں  چھپا ہوا حق کا نور اور کھلی ہوئی محکم دلیل ہے تیرا وہ نام جو نور کے ساتھ نور میں  سے نور، نور میں  نور ،ہر نور پر دوسرا نور، ہر نور کے اوپر ایک اور نور ہے وہ نور کہ جس سے ہر تاریکی روشن ہو جاتی ہے وہ نام ہر سختی کو توڑتا ہے ہر سرکش شیطان کو دباتا ہے، ہر سخت گیر کو نرم بنا تا ہے، اس نام کو زمین ہلا نہیں سکتی اور آسمان اسے اٹھا نہیں سکتا، اس کے ذریعے ہر خوف زدہ امن پاتا ہے، ہر جادو گر کا جادو ٹوٹتا ہے، سرکش کی سرکشی ختم ہوتی ہے، حاسد کا حسد مٹ جاتا ہے، اس نام کی عظمت سے میدان و سمندر کانپتے ہیں، اس کے ذریعے کشتیاں ٹھہر جاتی ہیں جب فرشتہ اسے زبان پر لاتا ہے پھر لہریں اس کشتی پر کچھ اثر نہیں کر پاتیں اور وہ ہے تیرا عظیم سے عظیم تر نام کہ جو روشن سے روشن تر سب سے بڑا نور ہے، وہی جس سے تو نے اپنی ذات کو موسوم کیا اور اسی کے ذریعے تو نے اپنے عرش کو سنوارا ہے، میں  محمد  ؐ اور ان کے اہل بیتؑ کے ذریعے تیری طرف آیا ہوں اور سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے اور ان کے واسطے سے کہ تو رحمت نازل فرمامحمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر اور یہ کہ میرا یہ اور یہ کام بنا دے۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN
- English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
- Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔

- Instruction: You may now pray for your needs.
- Instruction (Urdu): اب اپنی حاجت طلب کرے۔
