- Instruction: Imam Sadiq (a) is reported to have used to said this supplicatory prayer…
- Instruction (Urdu): روایت نقل ہوئی ہے کہ امام جعفر صادق  ؑ یہ دعا پڑھا کرتے تھے۔۔۔

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: يَا مَنْ يَّشْكُرُ الْيَسِيْرَ وَيَعْفُوْ عَنِ الْكَثِيْرِ وَهُوَ الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ اِغْفِرْلِىَ الذُّنُوْبَ الَّتِىْ ذَهَبَتْ لَذَّتُهَا وَبَقِيَتْ تَبِعَتُهَا۔
- Transliteration: YAA MAIY YASH-KORUL YASEE-RA WA YA’FOO ‘ANIL KASEE-RE WA HOWAL GHAFOO-RUR RAHEE-MO IGH-FIR-LE-YAZ ZONOO-BAL LATEE ZAHA-BAT LAZZA-TOHAA WA BAQE-YAT TABE‘ATO-HAA.
- English: O He Who accepts gratefully the little deed, pardons the many sins, and He is the Forgiving, the All-merciful, (please) forgive my sins whose pleasure has gone but whose consequences are still liable.
- Urdu: اے وہ جو تھوڑے عمل کی قدر کرتا ہے بہت سے گناہ معاف کر دیتا ہے اور بڑا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے میرے وہ گناہ بخش دے جن کی لذت تو ختم ہو چکی ہے مگر ان کا برا انجام باقی ہے۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN
- English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
- Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
