# Fear of Scorpion or any Arachnid

- Instruction: If you fear scorpion or any other arachnid, you may say this supplication, which Imam Baqir (a) has guaranteed for anyone who says it safety from stings of scorpions or any pests up to the next morning…
- Instruction (Urdu): اگر بچھو يا کسی دوسرے جاندار سے ڈسے جانے کاخوف ہوتو يہ دعا پڑھے، امام محمد باقرؑ نے اس دعا کے پڑھنے والے ہر شخص کو رات سے صبح تک بچھو اور دوسرے حشرات سے ڈسے نہ جانے کی ضمانت دی ہے۔۔۔

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: اَعُوْذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّاَّمَّاتِ الَّتِىْ لَايُجَاوِزُ هُنَّ بَرُّ وَلَا فَاجِرٌ مِّنْ شَرِّ مَاذَرَءَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا بَرَءَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ هُوَ اَخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا اِنَّ رَبِّىْ عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ۔
- Transliteration: A’OOZO BE-KALEMAA-TIL LAAHIT TA-AMMA-TIL LATEE LAA YUJAA-WEZO HUNNA BARRO WA LAA FAAJE-ROON MIN SHARRE MAA ZARA-A WA MIN SHARRE MAA BARA-A WA MIN SHARRE KULLE DA-AABBA-TIN HOWA AKHE-ZOON BENAA SEYA-TE-HAA INNA RABBEE ‘ALAA SERAA-TIM MUSTA-QEEM.
- English: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah words which neither the righteous nor the wicked can surpass from the evil of whatever He has created, from the evil of whatever He has brought into being, and from the evil of every creature that moves upon the earth He holds it by its forelock. Surely my Lord is upon a straight path.
- Urdu: میں خدا کے کامل کلمات کے ذريعے پناه ليتا ہوں کہ جن سے کوئی نيک وکار و بدکار آگے نہيں نکل سکتا ہر مخلوق کے شر ہر متحرک چيز کے شر اور ہر زمین پر چلنے والے کے شر سے کہ ان کی مہار خدا کے ہاتھ میں ہے يقينًا ميرے رب کا راستہ صراط مستقيم ہے۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN
- English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
- Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
