- Instruction: Hussain ibn Khalid asked Imam Reza (a), “May I be your ransom! Why is it that the nuptial gift for women is set at five-hundred Dirhams equivalent to 12۔5 Okes” Imam Reza (a) replied, “Allah, Mighty and Majestic be He, has made it incumbent upon Himself that if any believer says ALLAAHO AKBAR (Allah is the Greatest) 100 times; AL-HAMDO-LILLAAH (Praise be to Allah) 100 times; SUBHAA-NALLAAH (Glory be to Allah) 100 times; LAA ILAAHA ILLAL-LAAH (There is no god but Allah) 100 times; ALLAAHUMMA SALLE A’LAA MOHAMMADIW WA AALE MOHAMMAD (Blessings be upon Muhammad and his Household) 100 times; and also say 100 times…
- Instruction (Urdu): حسین ابن خالد نے امام رضاؑ سے پوچھا: میں آپ پر فدا! ایسا کیوں ہے کہ عورتوں کا مہر ۵۰۰ درہم ہے۔ امام رضاؑ نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالی نے اپنے اُپر واجب قرار دیا ہے کہ اگر کوئی مومن ہر ایک ذکر کو ۱۰۰ مرتبہ کہے "اللہ اکبر" (اللہ بزرگ تر ہے)، الحمدللہ" (تعریف اللہ کے لیے)، "سبحان اللہ" (اللہ پاک تر ہے)، "لا الہ الا اللہ"، (نہیں ہے کوئی معبود سوائے اللہ کے)،  اللہم صلے علی محمد وآلِ محمد" (اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر)  اور ۱۰۰ مرتبہ یہ بھی کہے۔۔۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ زَوِّجْنِيْ مِنَ الْـحُوْرِ الْعِيْنِ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA ZAWWIJ-NEE MENAL HOORIL E’EN.
- English: O Allah! Marry me with big-eyed hourie.
- Urdu: اے اللہ! بڑی آنکھوں والی حور سے میری شادی کرا دے۔

- Instruction: Allah will marry one of the houris to him. That is why the nuptial gift of the believing women has been determined to be five-hundred Dirhams. If anyone turns down the request of a believing courter who wants to marry a woman with the nuptial gift of five-hundred Dirhams, and then he does not marry her, has indeed harmed him. Then it is the right of Allah, Mighty and Majestic be He, not to marry a houri to him.
- Instruction (Urdu): اللہ اس کی شادی کسی ایک حور سے کروا دے گا۔ اسی لئے مومنہ عورتوں کا مہر ۵۰۰ درہم رکھا ہے۔ اگر کسی نے کسی مومن کی گزارش کو رد کر دیا کہ اسے ۵۰۰ درحم مہر میں کسی مومنہ سے شادی کرنی ہے اور پھر وہ اُسے شادی میں نہ کر دے، تو گویا اُس نے مومنہ کو اذیت دی۔ پھر اللہ تعالی کا حق ہے کہ وہ اُس کی شادی حور سے نہ کرے۔
