# Important of Aqeeq Ring

- Instruction: Sayyid Ibn Tawus has reported Imam Muhammad Baqir (a) as saying that whoever begins his morning wearing a ring of an agate stone in the right hand, turns the stone of the ring to the side of the palm of the hand before looking at anything else, looks at the stone, recites [Surah Qadr](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170) and says this devotional statement, Almighty Allah will safeguard him on that day from whatever descends from the heavens, whatever ascends to it, whatever comes into the earth, and whatever comes out of it, and he will be under the protection of Almighty Allah and one of his beloved servants up to the night…
- Instruction (Urdu): سید ابن طاؤسؒ نے امام جعفر صادق  ؑ سے روایت کی ہے : جو شخص ایسی حالت میں  صبح کرے کہ اس کے دائیں ہاتھ میں  عقیق کی انگوٹھی ہو تو وہ کسی اور چیز کی طرف نظر کرنے سے پہلے انگوٹھی کے نگینے کو ہتھیلی کی طرف مس کرے اور اس پر نگاہ رکھ کر [سورۂ قدر](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170) کو پڑھنے  کے بعد یہ کہے تو جو شخص یہ عمل کرے گا تو خدائے تعالیٰ اس دن کی شام تک آسمان سے اتر نے والی چیزوں اور آسمان کی طرف جانے والی چیزوں، زمین میں  داخل ہونے والی چیزوں اور زمین سے نکلنے والی چیزوں کے شر سے محفوظ رکھے گا اور خدا اور دوستانِ خدا کی حفاظت میں  رہے گا۔۔۔

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: آمَنْتُ بِاللهِ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ وَكَفَرْتُ بِالْجِبْتَ وَالطَّاغُوْتُ، وَآمَنْتُ بِسِرِّ الْمُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَا نِيَّتِهِمْ، وَظَاهِرْهُمْ وَ بَاطِنَهُمْ وَاَوَّلَهُمْ وَاُخْرَهُمْ۔
- Transliteration: AA-MANTO BILLAA-HE WAH-DAHU LAA SHAREE-KA LAHU WA KAFAR-TO BIL-JIBTA WAT TAA-GHOOTO, WA AA-MANTO BE-SIRRIL MOHAMMADIW WA ‘ALAA NABIY-YATE-HIM, WA ZAAHIR-HUM WA BAATE-NAHUM WA AWWALA-HUM WA UKHRA-HUM.
- English: I believe in Allah alone, with no partners, and I reject idols and false deities. I believe in the secrets and manifestations of the family of Muhammad, their outward and inward qualities, their beginning and their end.
- Urdu: میں  ایمان رکھتا ہوں ﷲ پر جو یکتا ہے کوئی اس کا شریک نہیں انکار کرتا ہوں جبت اور طاغوت کا ایمان رکھتا ہوں آل محمدؑ کے پوشیدہ و نمایاں پر ان کے ظاہر پر اور ان کے باطن پر ان کے اول پر اور ان کے آخر پر۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN
- English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
- Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
