# Invocation: Isfahani **Urdu title:** درودِ اصفہانی **Section:** Dua -- Fatima Zahra Imamia Centre devotional library **Page:** https://fzic.org/library/dua/invocation-isfahani-1270 ## Text - Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ - Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM - English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful. - Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَخَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ الْمُنْتَجَبِ فِي الْمِيْثَاقِ الْمُصْطَفٰى فِي الظِّلَالِ الْمُطَهَّرِ مِنْ كُلِّ آفَةٍ الْبَرِيْٓ‏ءِ مِنْ كُلِّ عَيْبٍ الْمُؤَمَّلِ لِلنَّجَاةِ الْمُرْتَجٰى لِلشَّفَاعَةِ الْمُفَوَّضِ اِلَيْهِ دِيْنُ اللهِ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA SALLE A’LAA MOHAMMADIN SAYYEDIL MUR-SALEENA WA KHAATE-MIN NABIY-YEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEE-NAL MUNTAJA-BE FIL MEESAA-QIL MUSTAFAA FIZ ZELAA-LIL MOTAH-HARE MIN KULLE AAFA-TIL BAREE-E MIN KULLE A’Y-BIL MO-AMMA-LE LIN-NAJAA-TIL MURTAJAA LISH-SHAFAA-A’TIL MOFAWWA-ZE ILAHE DEE-NUL LAAHE. - English: O Allah! Send blessings on Muhammad, the Chief of the Messengers the Last (in the series) of the Prophets, the decisive argument of the Lord of the worlds, distinguished by the covenant, stays chosen continually for ever and ever. Pulled out from all calamities, kept free from all defects, giving hope of everlasting happiness; the assured hope whom the religion of Allah has given full powers to recommend and intercede. - Urdu: خد اکے نا م سے شر وع(کرتا ہوں) جو بڑ ا مہربان نہا یت ر حم و الا ہے۔ اے معبود! حضرت محمدؐ پر رحمت فرما جو رسولوں کے سردار اور آخری نبی ہیں اور عالمین کے پالنے والے کی حجت ہیں وہی جو روزِ میثاق میں منتخب ہوئے،عالم اشباح میں منتخب،ہر آفت سے دور،ہر عیب سے پاک، نجات کے لئے امیدگاہ،شفاعت کا سہارا کہ اللہ کا دین انہی کے سپرد ہوا ہے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ شَرِّفْ بُنْيَانَهٗ وَعَظِّمْ بُرْهَانَهٗ وَاَفْلِجْ حُجَّتَهٗ وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهٗ وَاَضِأْنُوْرَهٗ وَبَيِّضْ وَجْهَهٗ وَاَعْطِهِ الْفَضْلَ وَالْفَضِيْلَةَ وَالْمَنْزِلَةَ وَالْوَسِيْلَةَ وَالدَّرَجَةَ الرَّفِيْعَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامَا مَحْمُوْدًا يَّغْبِطُهٗ بِهِ الْاَوَّلُوْنَ وَالْآخِرُوْنَ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA SHARRIF BUNYAA-NAHU WA A’ZZIM BURHAA-NAHU WA AF-LIJ HUJJATA-HU WAR-FA’ DARA-JATA-HU WA AZE-NOORA-HU WA BAIYYIZ WAJHA-HU WA A’TE-HIL FAZLA WAL FAZEE-LATA WAL MANZE-LATA WAL WASEE-LATA WAD DARA-JA-TAR RAFEE-A’TA WAB-A’S-HO MAQAAMAA MAHMOO-DAN YAGHBE-TOHU BE-HIL AWWA-LOONA WAL AAKHE-ROONA. - English: O Allah! Let his work be surpassingly eminent in glory, towering over, dominating, let his leadership make a deep lasting impression upon (mankind), spread his theory far and wide, make known loud and clear his rank, highest and finest, make his light shine bright, give beauty and grace to his appearance bestow upon him superabundant completeness, wisdom, status, ways and means; and highest position, and raise him to the most praiseworthy station; found his position enviable the people of his time and those who came after. - Urdu: اے معبود! محمدؐ کی ذات کو بلندی، ان کی برہان کو عظمت،ان کی حجت کو کامیابی، ان کے درجے کو رفعت عطا فرما۔ ان کے نور کو چمک اور ان کے چہرے کو روشنی دے۔ ان کی ذات کو فضیلت وبزرگی، وسیلہ اور بلند درجہ عطا فرما۔ اور انہیں مقام ِمحمود پر فائز فرما کہ ان پر اگلے اور پچھلے سبھی رشک کریں۔ - Arabic: وَصَلِّ عَلٰى اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَوَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَقَآئِدِ الْغُرِّ الْمُحَجَّلِيْنَ وَسَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ وَصَلِّ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَوَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ - Transliteration: WA SALLE A’LAA AMEERIL MO-MENEENA WA WAARE-SIL MURSA-LEENA WA QAAA-E-DIL GHURRIL MO-HAJJA-LEENA WA SAYYEDIL WASIY-YEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEENA. WA SALLE A’LAL HASA-NIBNE A’LIYYIN IMAAMIL MO-MENEENA WA WAARE-SIL MURSA-LEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEENA. - English: And send blessings on the commander of the faithfuls, the inheritor of the Messengers, the Leader of those, who in ardent longing cross (barriers) in leaps and bounds, the chief of the “appointed Guides”. The decisive argument of the Lord of the worlds; and send blessings on Hasan son of Ali, the Guide leader of the faithfuls, the inheritor of the Messengers, the decisive argument of the Lord of the worlds. - Urdu: اور امیر المومنینؑ پر رحمت فرما جو رسولوں کے وارث، روشن چہرے والوں کے رہنما، وصیّوں کے سردار اور عالمین کے پالنے والے کی حجت ہیں اور حسنؑ ابن علیؑ پر رحمت فرما جو مومنوں کے پیشوا،رسولوں کے وارث،اور عالمین کے رب کی حجت ہیں۔ - Arabic: وَصَلِّ عَلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَوَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ وَصَلِّ عَلٰى عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ، وَوَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ وَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَوَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ - Transliteration: WA SALLE A’LAL HUSAI-NIBNE A’LIYYIN IMAAMIL MO-MENEENA WA WAARE-SIL MURSA-LEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEENA. WA SALLE A’LAA A’LIYYIB-NIL HUSAINE IMAAMIL MO-MENEENA WA WAARE-SIL MURSA-LEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEENA. WA SALLE A’LAA MOHAMMA-DIBNE A’LIYYIN IMAAMIL MO-MENEENA WA WAARE-SIL MURSA-LEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEENA. - English: And send blessings on Hussain son of Ali, the Guide leader of the faithfuls, the inheritor of the Messengers. The decisive argument of the Lord of the worlds; and send blessings on Ali son of Hussain, the Guide leader of the faithfuls, the inheritor of the Messengers, the decisive argument of the Lord of the worlds; and send blessings on Muhammad son of Ali, the Guide leader of the faithfuls, the inheritor of the Messengers, the decisive argument of the Lord of the worlds. - Urdu: اور حسینؑ ابن علیؑ پر رحمت فرما جو مومنوں کے پیشوا،رسولوں کے وارث اور عالمین کے رب کی حجت ہیں۔ اور علیؑ ابن الحسینؑ پر رحمت فرما جو مومنوں کے پیشوا اور مرسلین کے وارث اور عالمین کے رب کی حجت ہیں۔ اور محمدؑ ابن علیؑ پر رحمت فرما جو مومنوں کے پیشوا اور مرسلین کے وارث اور عالمین کے رب کی حجت ہیں۔ - Arabic: وَصَلِّ عَلٰى جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَوَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ وَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُوْسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَوَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ وَصَلِّ عَلٰى عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوْسٰى اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَوَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ - Transliteration: WA SALLE A’LAA JA’FA-RIB-NE MOHAMMADIN IMAAMIL MO-MENEENA WA WAARE-SIL MURSA-LEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEENA. WA SALLE A’LAA MOOSAB-NE JA’FARIN IMAAMIL MO-MENEENA WA WAARE-SIL MURSA-LEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEENA. WA SALLE A’LAA A’LIYYIB-NE MOOSAA IMAAMIL MO-MENEENA WA WAARE-SIL MURSA-LEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEENA. - English: And send blessings on Jafar son of Muhammad, the Guide leader of the faithfuls, the inheritor of the Messengers, the decisive argument of the Lord of the worlds; and send blessings on Moosa son of Jafar, the Guide leader of the faithfuls, the inheritor of the Messengers, the decisive argument of the Lord of the worlds and send blessings on Ali son of Moosa, the Guide leader of the faithfuls, the inheritor of the Messengers, the decisive argument of the Lord of the worlds. - Urdu: اور جعفرؑ ابن محمدؑ پر رحمت فرما جو مومنوں کے پیشوا نبیوں کے وارث اور عالمین کے رب کی حجت ہیں۔اور موسٰیؑ ابن جعفرؑ پر رحمت فرما جو مومنوں کے پیشوا مرسلین کے وارث اور عالمین کے رب کی حجت ہیں۔ اور علیؑ ابن موسٰیؑ پر رحمت فرما جو مومنوں کے پیشوا مرسلین کے وارث اور عالمین کے رب کی حجت ہیں۔ - Arabic: وَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَوَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ وَصَلِّ عَلٰى عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَوَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ - Transliteration: WA SALLE A’LAA MOHAMMA-DIB-NE A’LIYYIN IMAAMIL MO-MENEENA WA WAARE-SIL MURSA-LEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEENA. WA SALLE A’LAA A’LIYYIB-NE MOHAMMADIN IMAAMIL MO-MENEENA WA WAARE-SIL MURSA-LEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEENA. - English: And send blessings on Muhammad son of Ali, the guide leader of the faithfuls, the inheritor of the Messengers, the decisive argument of the Lord of the worlds and send blessings on Ali son of Muhammad, the Guide leader of the faithfuls, the inheritor of the Messengers, the decisive argument of the Lord of the worlds. - Urdu: اور محمد ابن علیؑ پر رحمت فرما جو مومنوں کے پیشوا مرسلین کے وارث اور عالمین کے رب کی حجت ہیں۔ اور علیؑ ابن محمدؑ پر رحمت فرما جو مومنوں کے پیشوا مرسلین کے وارث اور عالمین کے رب کی حجت ہیں۔ - Arabic: وَصَلِّ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَوَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ وَصَلِّ عَلَى الْخَلَفِ الْهَادِي الْمَهْدِيِّ اِمَامِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَوَارِثِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ۔ - Transliteration: WA SALLE A’LAA HASA-NIB-NE A’LIYYIN IMAAMIL MO-MENEENA WA WAARE-SIL MURSA-LEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEENA. WA SALLE A’LAA KHALA-FIL HAADIL MAHDIYYE IMAAMIL MO-MENEENA WA WAARE-SIL MURSA-LEENA WA HUJJATE RABBIL AA’LAMEENA. - English: And send blessings on Hasan son of Ali, the Guide leader of the faithfuls, the inheritor of the Messengers, the decisive argument of the Lord of the world and send blessings on the last rightly guided Guide the Guide leader of the faithfuls, the inheritor of the Messengers, the decisive argument, of the Lord of the worlds. - Urdu: اور حسنؑ ابن علیؑ پر رحمت فرما جو مومنوں کے پیشوا مرسلین کے وارث اور عالمین کے رب کی حجت ہیں۔ اور خلف ہادی و مہدیؑ پر رحمت فرما جو مومنوں کے پیشوا نبیوں کے وارث اور عالمین کے رب کی حجت ہیں۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الْاَئِمَّةِ الْهَادِيْنَ الْعُلَمَآءِ الصَّادِقِيْنَ الْاَبْرَارِ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ دَعَآئِمِ دِيْنِكَ وَاَرْكَانِ تَوْحِيْدِكَ وَتَرَاجِمَةِ وَحْيِكَ وَحُجَجِكَ عَلٰى خَلْقِكَ وَخُلَفَآئِكَ فِيْ اَرْضِكَ الَّذِيْنَ اخْتَرْتَهُمْ لِنَفْسِكَ وَاصْطَفَيْتَهُمْ عَلٰى عِبَادِكَ وَارْتَضَيْتَهُمْ لِدِيْنِكَ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA SALLE A’LAA MOHAMMADIW WA AHLE-BAIYTE-HIL AIMMA-TIL HAADEE-NAL O’LAMAAA-IS SAADEQEE-NAL ABRAA-RIL MUTTA-QEENA DA-AA’-E-ME DEENE-KA WA ARKAA-NE TAW-HEEDE-KA WA TARAAJA-MATE WAHYE-KA WA HUJAJE-KA A’LAA KHALQE-KA WA KHOLA-FAA-E-KA FEE ARZE-KAL LAZEE-NAKH TARTA-HUM LE-NAFSE-KA WAS TA-FAIYTA-HUM A’LAA E’BAADE-KA WAR TA-ZAIYTA-HUM LE-DEENE-KA. - English: O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and on his “Ahlul Bayt” (the people of the House), the Leader guides, the true scholars, the virtuous God fearing, the mainstay Thy religion depends upon, the essential foundation on which thy Oneness rests, the interpreters of Thy revealed words, Thy conclusive argument over the mankind, Thy representatives on the earth whom Thou selected in preference over all Thy servants, recognized and authorized them to serve Thy religion. - Urdu: اے معبود! حضرت محمدؐ اور ان کے اہل بؑیت پر رحمت فرما جو ہدایت کرنے والے امامؑ، حق گو علماء، نیکوکار، پرہیزگار، تیرے دین کے ستون، تیری توحید کے ارکان، تیری وحی کے ترجمان، تیری مخلوق پر تیری حجت اور زمین پر تیرے نائب ہیں۔جن کو تو نے اپنی ذات کے لئے چنا۔ اپنے بندوں پر انہیں بزرگی دی اپنے دین کے لئے انہیں پسند کیا۔ - Arabic: وَخَصَصْتَهُمْ بِمَعْرِفَتِكَ وَجَلَّلْتَهُمْ بِكَرَامَتِكَ وَغَشَّيْتَهُمْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَرَبَّيْتَهُمْ بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَغَذَّيْتَهُمْ بِحِكْمَتِكَ وَاَلْبَسْتَهُمْ نُوْرَكَ وَرَفَعْتَهُمْ فِيْ مَلَكُوْتِكَ وَحَفَفْتَهُمْ بِمَلَآئِكَتِكَ وَشَرَّفْتَهُمْ بِنَبِيِّكَ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ۔ - Transliteration: WA KHA-SASTA-HUM BE-MA’RE-FATE-KA WA JALLAL-TA-HUM BE-KARAA-MATE-KA WA GHASH-SHAIYTA-HUM BE-RAHMATE-KA WA RAB-BAIYTA-HUM BE-NE’MATE-KA WA GHAZ-ZAIYTA-HUM BE-HIKMATE-KA WA AL-BASTA-HUM NOORA-KA WA RAFA’TA-HUM FEE MALA-KOOTE-KA WA HAFAFTA-HUM BE-MALAA'e KATE-KA WA SHAR-RAFTA-HUM BE-NABIYYE-KA SALAWAA-TOKA A’LAIHE WA AALE-HI. - English: Specifically chose them to have knowledge about Thee, made them bright, all important, great and glorious through Thy generosity. Covered them from all sides with Thy love and mercy, made available for them Thy bounties, well- versed and well- grounded they are in Thy wisdom, wrapped them up in Thy Light, they occupy the highest place and rank in Thy Kingdom protected them from every side Thy Angels, distinguished them with Thy Prophet, Thy blessings be on him and on his children. - Urdu: اپنی معرفت میں انہیں خصوصیت بخشی اپنے کرم سے ان کو بزرگ بنایا۔ ان کو اپنی رحمت کے سایہ میں ڈھانپ لیا اپنی نعمت سے ان کی تربیت کی اپنی حکمت کی غذا دی اور انہیں اپنے نور کا لباس پہنایا اپنے ملکوت میں بلند کیا اور انہیں اپنے فرشتوں سے گھیرے رکھا اور اپنے نبی کے ذریعے انہیں عزّت دی محمدؐ پر اور ان کی آل ؑپر تیری رحمت ہو۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَيْهِمْ صَلَاةً زَاكِيَةً نَامِيَةً، كَثِيْرَةً دَآئِمَةً طَيِّبَةً لَّا يُحِيْطُ بِهَا اِلَّا اَنْتَ وَلَا يَسَعُهَا اِلَّا عِلْمُكَ وَلَا يُحْصِيْهَا اَحَدٌ غَيْرُكَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلٰى وَلِيِّكَ الْمُحْيِيْ سُنَّتَكَ الْقَآئِمِ بِاَمْرِكَ الدَّاعِيْ اِلَيْكَ الدَّلِيْلِ عَلَيْكَ حُجَّتِكَ عَلٰى خَلْقِكَ وَخَلِيْفَتِكَ فِي اَرْضِكَ وَشَاهِدِكَ عَلٰى عِبَادِكَ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA SALLE A’LAA MOHAMMADIN WA A’LAI-HIM SALAA-TAN ZAAKE-YATAN NAAME-YATAN, KASEE-RATAN DAA-E-MATIN TAIYYE-BATAL LAA YO-HEE-TO BEHAA ILLAA ANTA WA LAA YASA-O’HAA I’LMO-KA WA LAA YOH-SEE-HAA AHA-DUN GHAIRO-KA. ALLAAHUMMA WA SALLE A’LAA WALIYYE-KAL MOHYEE SUNNATA-KAL QAAA-E-ME BE-AMRE-KAD DAA-EE’ ILAI-KAD DALEELE A’LAIKA HUJJATE-KA A’LAA KHALQE-KA WA KHALEE-FATE-KA FEE ARZE-KA WA SHAAHEDE-KA A’LAA E’BAADE-KA. - English: O Allah! Bless Muhammad and them, (with) blessings, pure, rich, ever growing, a great many, for ever and ever, the best, cannot be surveyed except by Thee, cannot be fully defined except by Thy wisdom, cannot be recounted by anyone other than Thee. O Allah! And send blessings on Thy kept alive delegated authority guardian of the “way of Life” ordained by Thee, who claims authority under Thy command, the straight path leading to Thee, the decisive proof from Thee over the mankind, Thy representative on the earth, Thy evidence made visible to Thy servants. - Urdu: اے معبود! محمدؐ پر اور ائمہؑ پر رحمت فرما وہ رحمت جو پاکیزہ،بڑھنے والی، کثیر،دائمی اور پسندیدہ ہو اور سوائے تیرے کوئی اس کا احاطہ نہ کرسکے اور جو تیرے ہی علم میں سماسکے اور سوائے تیرے کوئی اس کا اندازہ نہ کرسکے اور اے معبود! اپنے ولی پر رحمت فرما جو تیرے امر کو قائم کرنے والا، تیری شریعت کو زندہ کرنے والا، تیری طرف بلانے والا، تیری طرف رہنمائی کرنے والا،تیری مخلوق پر تیری حجت،تیری زمین پر تیرا خلیفہ اور تیرے بندوں پر تیرا گواہ ہے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ اَعِزَّ نَصْرَهٗ وَمُدَّ فِيْ عُمْرِهٖ وَزَيِّنِ الْاَرْضَ بِطُوْلِ بَقَآئِهٖ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اكْفِهٖ بَغْيَ الْحَاسِدِيْنَ وَاَعِذْهُ مِنْ شَرِّ الْكَآئِدِيْنَ وَازْجُرْ عَنْهُ اِرَادَةَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ وَخَلِّصْهُ مِنْ اَيْدِي الْجَبَّارِيْنَ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA A-I’ZZA NASRA-HU WA MUDDA FEE U’MRE-HI WA ZAIYYE-NIL ARZA BE-TOOLE BAQAAA'e HI. ALLAAHUM-MAK FEHI BAGH-YAL HAASE-DEENA WA A-I’Z-HO MIN SHARRIL KAAA'e DEENA WAZJUR A’N-HO ERAA-DATAZ ZAALE-MEENA WA KHALLIS-HO MIN AIY-DIL JABBAA-REENA. - English: O Allah! Go all out to make available “defense in depth” for him, prolong his stay here, by continuing his presence make this would beautiful. O Allah! Keep him safe from the ill-will of those who feel resentful towards him, create for him favourable circumstances, free from the evil of the deceitful, put a stop to the conspiracies hatched against him by the unjust, save him from the clever tricks of the tyrants. - Urdu: اے معبود! اس کی نصرت میں اضافہ اور اس کی عمر طولانی فرما اور اس کی طولانی بقا سے زمین کو زینت دے۔ اے معبود! اسے حاسدوں کے ظلم سے بچا، مکاروں کے فریب سے محفوظ رکھ، اس کے بارے میں ظالموں کے ارادے کو ناکام بنادے اور اسے جابروں کے ہاتھوں سے رہائی دے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ اَعْطِهٖ فِيْ نَفْسِهٖ وَذُرِّيَّتِهٖ وَشِيْعَتِهٖ وَرَعِيَّتِهٖ وَخَاصَّتِهٖ وَعَامَّتِهٖ وَعَدُوِّهٖ وَجَمِيْعِ اَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا مَا تُقِرُّ بِهٖ عَيْنَهُ وَتَسُرُّ بِهٖ نَفْسَهُ وَبَلِّغْهُ اَفْضَلَ مَا اَمَّلَهٗ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْٓءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA A’TE-HI FEE NAFSE-HI WA ZUR-RIYYATE-HI WA SHEE-A’TE-HI WA RA-E’YYATE-HI WA KHAS-SATE-HI WA AA’MMATE-HI WA A’DUWWE-HI WA JAMEE-E’AHLID DUNYAA MAA TO-QIRRO BEHI A’IYNA-HO AF-ZALA MAA AMMALA-HU FID DUNYAA WAL AAKHE-RATE INNA-KA A’LAA KULLE SHAI-IN QADEE-ROON. - English: O Allah! set in motion at once his wish and desires, and of his descendants, his followers who love and obey him, and the flock under his protection affectionately attached to him and the common people, his whole mission, and all the human beings, which will bring him near to his purpose: make him advance to the reality he has in mind, let him achieve in full, in the best manner, that which he hopes to do in this world and the Hereafter. Verily Thou art able to do all things. - Urdu: اے معبود! اپنے ولی کو وہ چیزیں دے اور اس کی اولاد، اس کے شیعوں،اس کی رعیت، اس کے خاص و عام ساتھیوں کو اس کے دشمنوں کواور تمام دنیا والوں کو وہ چیزیں دے جن سے اس کی آنکھوں کو ٹھنڈک اور دل کو چین ملے اور اس کی بہترین امیدوں کو دنیا و آخرت میں پورا فرما۔بے شک توہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ جَدِّدْ بِهٖ مَاامْتَحٰى (مُحِيَ) مِنْ دِيْنِكَ وَاَحْيِ بِهٖ مَابُدِّلَ مِنْ كِتَابِكَ وَاَظْهِرْ بِهٖ مَاغُيِّرَ مِنْ حُكْمِكَ حَتّٰى يَعُوْدَ دِيْنُكَ بِهٖ وَعَلٰى يَدَيْهِ غَضًّا جَدِيْدًا خَالِصًا مُّخْلِصًا لَّا شَكَّ فِيْهِ وَلَا شُبْهَةَ مَعَهٗ وَلَا بَاطِلَ عِنْدَهٗ وَلَا بِدْعَةَ لَدَيْهِ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA JADDID BEHI MAM TAHAA (MOHE-YA) MIN DEENE-KA WA AHA-YE BEHI MAA-BUDDE-LA MIN KETAA-BE-KA WA AZHIR BEHI MAA GHUYYE-RA MIN HUKMEKA HATTAA YA-OO’DA DEENO-KA BEHI WA A’LAA YA-DAIY-HE GHAZZAN JADEE-DAN KHAALE-SAN MUKHLE-SAN LAA SHAKKA FEEHE WA LAA SHUBHA-TA MA-A’HU WA LAA BAATE-LA I’NDA-HU WA LAA BID-A’TA LA-DAIY-HE. - English: O Allah! Put back, through him in original form that which has been uprooted from Thy religion, put in order again through him the confusion created in Thy Book. Make clear, through him, the distortions made in Thy commandments. So that Thy religion regains its true spirit, on his hands, blooming and full of tenderness, progressive, up to date, liberated, saviour, without doubts and uncertainties, without suspicions and obscurities, there being no falsehood lingering around him, nor any subversive activities in his presence. - Urdu: اے معبود! اس کے ذریعے دین کی محو شدہ باتوں کو ظاہر فرما۔ اس کے ہاتھوں اپنی کتاب کے بدلے گئے احکام زندہ فرما۔ تیرے احکام جو تبدیل ہو چکے ہیں اس کے ذریعے انہیں ظا ہر فرما۔کہ تیرے دین میں تازگی پیدا ہو جائے اور اس ولی کے ہا تھوں دین نئی شان سے پاک و خالص ہو جائے کہ اس میں کوئی شک و شبہ نہ رہے۔نہ اس میں باطل رہے اور نہ بدعت موجود ہو۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ نَوِّرْ بِنُوْرِهٖ كُلَّ ظُلْمَةٍ وَّهُدَّ بِرُكْنِهٖ كُلَّ بِدْعَةٍ وَّاهْدِمْ بِعِزِّهٖ كُلَّ ضَلَالَةٍ وَّاقْصِمْ بِهٖ كُلَّ جَبَّارٍ وَّاَخْمِدْ بِسَيْفِهٖ كُلَّ نَارٍ وَّاَهْلِكْ بِعَدْلِهٖ جَوْرَ كُلِّ جَآئِرٍ وَّاَجْرِ حُكْمَهٗ عَلٰى كُلِّ حُكْمٍ وَّاَذِلَّ بِسُلْطَانِهٖ كُلَّ سُلْطَانٍ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA NAWWIR BE-NOORE-HI KULLA ZULMA-TIN WA HODDA BE-RUKNE-HI KULLA BID-A’-TIN WAHDIM BE-I’ZZE-HI KULLA ZALAA-LATIN WAQZIM BEHI KULLA JABBAA-RIN WA AKH-MID BE-SAIFE-HI KULLA NAARIN WA AHLIK BE-A’DLE-HI JAWRA KULLE JAAA-E-RIN WA AJRE HUKMO-HU A’LAA KULLE HUKMIN WA A-ZILLA BE-SULTAANE-HI KULLA SULTAA-NIN. - English: O Allah! Enlighten the world with his truth and make oppression and tyranny take fright and flee, put a stop to reversal and subversion by relying upon him, once for all, pull down the edifice of corrupt wickedness forever by giving him a free hand, through him break up entirely totalitarianism, let him deal the death-blow and wipe out the existence of the damned and accursed. And put an end to oppression perpetrated by the unjust tyrants, and set up justice and fair play, put in force his “rule of life” far and wide, everywhere, over all jurisdictions, make all authorities serve to promote his sovereignty. - Urdu: اے معبود! اپنے ولی کے نور سے تا ریکیوں کو روشنی دے۔ اس کی قوت سے ہر بدعت کو مٹا دے۔ اس کی عزّت کے واسطے سے ہر گمراہی ختم کر دے اس کے ذریعے ہرجابر کی کمر توڑ دے اس کی تلوار سے ہر فتنے کی آگ بجھا دے۔اس کے عدل کے ذریعے ہر ظالم کے ظلم کو ختم کر دے۔اس کے حکم کوہر حکم سے بالاتر کر دے اور اس کی سلطنت کے ذریعے ہر سلطان کو پست کر دے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ اَذِلَّ كُلَّ مَنْ نَاوَاهُ وَاَهْلِكْ كُلَّ مَنْ عَادَاهٗ وَامْكُرْ بِمَنْ كَادَهٗ وَاسْتَأْصِلْ مَنْ جَحَدَهٗ حَقَّهٗ وَاسْتَهَانَ بِاَمْرِهٖ وَسَعٰى فِيْ اِطْفَآءِ نُوْرِهٖ وَاَرَادَ اِخْمَادَ ذِكْرِهٖ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA A-ZILLA KULLA MAN NAAWAA-HO WA AHLIK KULLA MAN AA’DAA-HU WAMKUR BE-MAN KAADA-HU WASTAA-SIL MAN JAHADA-HU HAQQA-HU WASTA-HAANA BE-AMRE-HI WA SA-AA’ FEE IT-FAAA-E NOORE-HI WA ARAA-DA IKH-MAADA ZIKRE-HI. - English: O Allah, whose runs away from him should be discredited and put to shame, whose undermines his mission should be eliminated, whose looks upon him with envy, and quarrel, may be cornered, back to the wall, whose knows but denies his right may rot and disintegrate, make lighter and easy his mission, make haste to set in motion blossoming of his truth, let his quite glory shine in full brightness. - Urdu: اے معبود! اپنے ولی کے ہر مخالف کوہیچ کردے اور اس کے دشمنوں کو ہلاک کر دے جو اسے دھوکہ دے، اس کو ناکام کر دے۔ جو اس کے حق کا منکر ہو اس کی جڑ کاٹ دے اور اس کے حکم کو اہمیت نہ دے جو کہ اس کے نور کو بجھانے میں کوشاں ہو اور اس کے ذکر مٹانے کا ارادہ کرے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدِ الْمُصْطَفٰى وَعَلِيِّ الْمُرْتَضٰى وَفَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ وَالْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا وَالْحُسَيْنِ الْمُصَفّٰى وَجَمِيْعِ الْاَوْصِيَآءِ مَصَابِيْحِ الدُّجٰى وَاَعْلَامِ الْهُدٰى وَمَنَارِ التُّقٰى وَالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقٰى وَالْحَبْلِ الْمَتِيْنِ وَالصِّرَاطِ الْمُسْتَقِيْمِ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA SALLE A’LAA MOHAMMADE-NIL MUSTAFAA WA A’LIYYE-NIL MURTAZAA WA FAATEMA-TAZ ZAHRAA-E WAL HASA-NIR REZAA WAL HUASI-NIL MO-SAFFAA WA JAMEE-I’L AWSE-YAAA-E MA-SAABEE-HID DUJAA WA A’LAA-MIL HODAA WA MANAA-RIT TOQAA WAL U’RWA-TIL WUSQAA WAL HABLIL MATEENE WAS SERAA-TIL MUSTA-QEEME. - English: O Allah! Send blessings on Muhammad, the Chosen, on Ali, who pleased (Allah) better than others, on Fatimah, the bright and beautiful, on Hasan, the agreeing, on Hussain, the refined, and on all the rest of the closely connected appointed guardians, the favourite confidants, the signs leading unto guidance, the lighthouse of piety and wisdom, the trustworthy and safe handle, the strong rope, the right path. - Urdu: اے معبود! محمد مصطفیٰؐ پر رحمت فرما اور علی مرتضیٰؑ، فاطمہ زہراؑ، حسن مجتبیٰؑ اور حسینؑ مصفّیٰ اور آنحضرتؐ کے تمام اوصیاء پر رحمت فرما۔ جو روشن چراغ اور ہدایت کے نشان، تقویٰ کے مینار، مضبوط رسّی، پائیدار ڈوری اور صراطِ مستقیم ہیں۔ - Arabic: وَصَلِّ عَلٰى وَلِيِّكَ وَوُلَاةِ عَهْدِكَ وَالْاَئِمَّةِ مِنْ وُلْدِهٖ وَمُدَّ فِيْ اَعْمَارِهِمْ وَزِدْ فِيْ آجَالِهِمْ وَبَلِّغْهُمْ اَقْصٰى آمَالِهِمْ دِيْنًا وَّدُنْيَا وَآخِرَةً اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْٓءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔ - Transliteration: WA SALLE A’LAA WALIYYE-KA WA WOLAA-TE A’HDE-KA WAL AIMMA-TE MIN WULDE-HI WA MUDDA FEE A’MAARE-HIM WA ZID FEE AA-JAALE-HIM WA BALLIGH-HUM AQSAA AA-MAALE-HIM DEENAN WA DUNYAA WA AAKHE-RATAN INNA-KA A’LAA KULLE SHAI-IN QADEE-ROON. - English: Bless Thy dearest intimate friend, the authority Thou promised to protect, and (bless) the Imams, his children spread their creed, build up their cause, let their thoughts and deeds reach far and wide, to the four corners of the world, in the matter of religion, in the worldly affairs and at the time of Final Judgment, verily Thou art able to do all things. - Urdu: اور اپنے ولی علیؑ پر رحمت فرما۔ اور ان کے جانشینوں پر جو ان کی اولاد میں سے امامؑ ہیں۔ ان کی عمریں دراز فرما۔ان کی مدت میں اضافہ کر دے اور ان کی تمام امیدیں پوری فرما۔ جو دنیا و آخرت سےمتعلق ہیں کہ بے شک تو ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN - English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny. - Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔ --- Published by Fatima Zahra Imamia Centre, North Ipswich QLD, https://fzic.org.
