The reciter sends the peace and the blessings of Allah upon the Patron of the Age, named in the text as the Argument of Allah, His representative in His lands and His viceroy among His creatures and servants, the offspring of prophethood, the Riser, the Well-guided, the Awaited and the descendant of the infallible Imams. The greetings then address him as the one who grants dignity to the oppressed and the faithful and who humbles the arrogant, and as the son of Allah's Messenger and of the Commander of the Believers. ## Text ### Imam Zamana (a) - Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ - Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM - English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful. - Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔ - Arabic: سَلَامُ اللہِ الْکَامِلُ التَّامُّ الشَّامِلُ الْعَآمُّ وَّصَلَوَاتُہُ الدَّآ ئِمَۃُ وَبَرَکَاتُہُ الْقَآئِمَۃُ عَلٰی حُجَّۃِ اللہِ وَوَلِیِّہٖ فِیْ اَرْضِہٖ وَبِلَادِہٖ وَخَلِیْفَتِہٖ عَلٰی خَلْقِہٖ وَعِبَادِہٖ وَسُلَالَۃِ النُّبُوَّۃِ وَبَقِیَّۃِ الْعِتْرَۃِ وَالصَّفْوَۃِ صَاحِبِ الزَمَانِ وَمُظْھِرِ الْاِیْمَانِ وَمُلَقِّنِ اَحْکَامِ الْقُرْآنِ وَمُطَھِّرِ الْاَرْضِ وَنَاشِرِ الْعَدْلِ فِیْ الطُّوْلِ وَالْعَرْضِ وَالْحُجَّۃِ الْقَآئِمِ الْمَھْدِیِّ الْاِمَامِ الْمُنْتَظَرِ الْمَرْضِیِّ وَابْنِ الْاَئِمَّۃِ الطَّاھِرِیْنَ الْوَصِیِّ بْنِ الْاَوْ صِیَآئِ الْمَرْ ضِیِّیْنَ الْھَادِیْ الْمَعْصُوْمِ ابْنِ الْاَئِمَّۃِ الْھُدَاۃِ الْمَعْصُوْ مِیْنَ۔ - Transliteration: SALAAMUL LAAHIL KAAMELUT TAAM-MUSH SHAAMELUL A’AAM-MO WA SALAWAATOHUD DAAA-EMATO WA BARAKAATOHUL QAAA-EMATUT TAAAM-MATO A’LAA HUJJATIL LAAHE WA WALIYYEHI FEE ARZEHI WA BELAADEHI WA KHALEEFATEHI A’LAA KHALQEHI WA E’BAADEHI WA SOLAALATIN NOBUWWATE WA BAQIYYATIL I’TRATE WAS-SAFWATE SAAHEBIZ ZAMAANE WA MUZHERIL EEMAANE WA MOLAQQENE AHKAAMIL QUR-AAANE WA MOTAHHERIL ARZE WA NAASHERIL A’DLE FIT TOOLE WAL A’RZE WAL HUJJATIL QAAA-EMIL MAHDIYYIL EMAAMIL MUNTAZARIL MARZIYYE WABNIL A-IMMATIT TAAHEREENAL WASIYYIBNIL AWSE-YAAA-IL MARZIYYEENAL HAADIL MA’SOOMIBNIL A’IMMATIL HODAATIL MA’SOOMEENA. - English: Peace of Allah perfect, complete, comprehensive, and thorough; and His endless benedictions and His everlasting, perfect blessings be upon the Argument of Allah, His representative in His lands and realm, His viceroy among His creatures and servants, the offspring of Prophethood, the completion of the (Holy) Progeny and the Choice Ones, the Patron of the Age, the demonstrator of the (true) faith, the teacher of the laws of the Qur’an, the purger of the earth, the spreader of justice all over the earth, the Argument (al-Hujjat), the Riser (al-Qaaem), the Well-guided (al-Mahdi), the Leader, the Awaited, the Pleased, the descendant of the Infallible Imams, the Successor, the son of the Pleased Successors (of the Prophets), the Guide, the Immaculate, and the son of the Imams the guides and immaculate. - Urdu: خدا کا سلام کامل و مکمل بہت زیادہ اور اس کا دائمی سلام ہو اور اس کی ہمیشہ رہنے والی رحمت ساری برکتیں اس ذات پر ہوں جو خدا کی حجت اور اس کا دوست ہے زمین پر اور شہروں میں اس کا خلیفہ ہے مخلوق اور بندوں پر نبوت کی نشانی اہل بیتؑ کے آخری فرد اور منتخب ہستی، زمانۂ حاضر کے امامؑ ہیں جو ایمان کو ظاہر کرنے والے احکام ِ قرآن کی تعلیم دینے والے زمین کو پاک کرنے والے اور اس کے طول و عرض میں عدل کوعا م کرنے والے ہیں وہ حجت قائم مہدی ؑ امام ؑ منتظر خدا کے پسندیدہ ہیں وہ پاک اماموں کے فرزند اور خود بھی وصی ہیں اور ان اوصیاء کے فرزند ہیں جو پسندیدہ،وہ ہادیؑ اور معصوم ہیں جو ہدایت یافتہ معصوم اماموں کے فرزند ہیں۔ - Arabic: اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ یَامُعِزَّ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِیْنَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ یَامُذِلَّ الْکَافِرِیْنَ الْمُتَکَبِّرِیْنَ الظَّالِمِیْنَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ یَامُوْلَایَ یَاصَاحِبَ الزَّمَانِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ یَابْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ یَابْنَ اَمِیْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ۔ - Transliteration: ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA MO-I’ZZAL MO’MENEENAL MUSTAZ-A’FEENA ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA MOZILLAL KAAFEREENAL MOTAKABBEREENAZ ZAALEMEENA ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA MAWLAAYA YAA SAAHEBAZ ZAMAANE ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YABNA RASOOLILLAAHE ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YABNA AMEERIL MOMINEENA. - English: Peace be upon you, O grantor of dignity to the oppressed and faithful ones. Peace be upon you, O humiliator of the arrogant and oppressing unbelievers. Peace be upon you, O my master, the Patron of the Age. Peace be upon you, O son of Allah’s Messenger. Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Believers. - Urdu: سلام ہو آپ پر اے ناتواں مومنوں کو عزّت دینے والے سلام ہو آپ پر اے ظالم اور سرکش کافروں کو ذلیل کرنے والے سلام ہو آپ پر اے میرے آقا اے صاحب الزمانؑ سلام ہو آپ پر اے فرزندِ رسولؐ سلام ہو آپ پر اے فرزندِ امیرالمومنینؑ۔ - Arabic: اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ یَابْنَ فَاطِمَۃَ الزَّھْرَآئِ سَیِّدَۃِ نِسَآئِ الْعَالَمِیْنَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ یَابْنَ الْاَئِمَّۃِ الْحُجَجِ الْمَعْصُوْمِیْنَ وَالْاِمَامِ عَلَی الْخَلْقِ اَجْمَعِیْنَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ یَامَوْلَایَ سَلَامَ مُخْلِصٍ لَکَ فِیْ الْوَلَایَۃِ۔ - Transliteration: ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YABNA FAATEMATAZ ZAHRAAA-E SAYYEDATE NESAAA-IL A’ALAMEENA ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YABNAL A-IMMATIL HUJAJIL MA’SOOMEENA WAL EMAAME A’LAL KHALQE AJMA-E’ENA ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA MAWLAAYA SALAAMA MUKHLESAN LAKA FIL WELAAYATE. - English: Peace be upon you, O son of Fatimah the Luminous and the Doyenne of the women of the world. Peace be upon you, O son of the Imams the arguments (of Allah) and Immaculate and the leader of all creatures. Peace be upon you, O my master addressed by him who is loyal to your (divinely commissioned) leadership. - Urdu: سلام ہو آپ پر اے فاطمہ زہراؑ کے نورِ نظر جو عالمین کی عورتوں کی سردار ہیں سلام ہو آپ پر اے حجج ِخدا ائمہ معصومینؑ کے جگر گوشہ اور ساری مخلوقات کے امامؑ سلام ہو آپ پر اے میرے مولا اس کا سلام جو آپ کی محبت میں مخلص ہے۔ - Arabic: اَشْھَدُ اَنَّکَ الْاِمَامُ الْمَھْدِیُّ قَوْلًا وَّفِعْلًا وَّاَنْتَ الَّذِیْ تَمْلُا الْاَرْضِ قِسْطًا وَّعَدْلًا بَعْدَ مَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَّجَوْرًا فَعَجَّلَ اللہُ فَرَجَکَ وَسَھَّلَ مَخْرَجَکَ وَقَرَّبَ زَمَانَکَ وَکَثَّرَ اَنْصَارَکَ وَاَعْوَانَکَ وَاَنْجَزَ لَکَ مَا وَعَدَکَ فَھُوَ اَصْدَقُ الْقَآئِلِیْنَ وَنُرِیْدُ اَنْ نَّمُنَّ عَلَی الَّذِیْنَ اسْتَضْعِفُوْا فِیْ الْاَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَھُمْ اَئِمَّۃً وَّنَجْعَلَھُمُ الْوَارِثِیْنَ یَامَوْلَایَ یَاصَاحِبَ الزَّمَانِ یَابْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ حَاجَتِیْ۔ - Transliteration: ASH-HADO ANNAKAL EMAAMUL MAHDIYYO QAWLAN WA FEA’LAN WA ANTAL LAZEE TAM-LA-UL ARZA QISTAN WA A’DLAN BA’DA MAA MOLE-AT ZULMAN WA JAWRAN FA-A’JJALALLAAHO FARAJAKA WA SAH-HALA MAKHRAJAKA WA QARRABA ZAMAANAK WA KASSARA ANSAARAKA WA A-A’WAANAKA WA ANJAZA LAKA MAA WA-A’DAKA FAHOWA ASDAQUL QAAA-ELEENA WA NOREEDO AN NAMUNNA A’LAL LAZEENAS TUZ-E’FOO FIL ARZE WA NAJ-A’LAHUM A-IMMATAN WA NAJ-A’LAHOMUL WAARESEENA YAA MAWLAAYA YAA SAAHEBAZ ZAMAANE YABNA RASOOLIL LAAHE HAAJATEE. - English: I bear witness that you are the well-guided Imam in word and deed, it is you who shall fill the earth with justice and impartiality after it will be filled with wrong and partiality. So, may Allah hasten your reappearance, make easy your advent, make nearer the time of your coming, increase the number of your supporters and backers, and fulfill for you all that which He has promised you. He is surely the most truthful of all those who can speak (and He has said): “We desired to bestow a favor upon those who were deemed weak in the land, make them the Imams, and make them the heirs.” O my master! O Patron of the Age! O son of Allah’s Messenger! My request is... - Urdu: میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ قول و فعل کے لحاظ سے آپ ہی امام مہدیؑ ہیں جو زمین کو عدل و انصاف سے پُر کریں گے جب کہ وہ ظلم و ستم سے بھر چکی ہو گی پس خدا آپ کو جلد آسودگی دے اور آپ کے ظہور کو آسان بنائے آپ کاعہد قریب تر کرے اور آپ کے مددگاروں میں اضافہ کر دے اورآپ سے کیے ہوئے وعدہ کو پورا فرمائے پس وہی کہنے والوں میں سب سے سچا ہے کہ فرمایا:’’ہم یہ ارادہ رکھتے ہیں کہ ان لوگوں پر جن کو زمین میں کمزور کر دیا گیا احسان کریں اور ان کو امام ؑ بنائیں اور ہم انہیں وارث قرار دیں‘‘ اے میرے مولا اے صاحب الزمانؑ اے فرزندِ رسولؐ میری یہ اور یہ حاجات ہیں۔ - Arabic: فَشْفَعْ لِیْ فِیْ نَجَاحِھَا فَقَدْ تَوَجَّھْتُ اِلَیْکَ بِحَاجَتِیْ لِعِلْمِیْ اَنَّ لَکَ عِنْدَ اللہِ شَفَاعَۃً مَّقْبُوْلَۃً وَّمَقَامًا مَحْمُوْدًا فَبِحَقِّ مَنِ اخْتَصَّکُمْ بِاَمْرِہٖ وَارْتَضَاکُمْ لِسِرِّہٖ وَبِالشَّانِ الَّذِیْ لَکُمْ عِنْدَ اللہِ بَیْنَکُمْ وَبَیْنَہٗ سَلِ اللہَ تَعَالٰی فِیْ نُجَحِ طَلِبَتِیْ وَاِجَابَۃِ دَعْوَتِیْ وَکَشْفِ کُرْبَتِیْ۔ - Transliteration: FASH-FA’ LEE FEE NAJAAHEHA FAQAD TAWAJJAHTO ELAYKA BE HAAJATEE LE-I’LMEE ANNA LAKA I’NDALLAAHE SHAFAA-A’TAN MAQBOOLATAN WA MAQAAMAN MAHMOODAN FA-BEHAQQE MANIKH TASSAKUM BE AMREHI WARTAZAAKUM LE SIRREHI WA BISH-SHANIL LAZEE LAKUM I’NDALLAAHE BAYNAKUM WA BAYNAHU SALILLAAHA TA-A’ALAA FEE NOJAHE TALEBATEE WA EJAABATE DA’WATEE WA KASHFE KURBATEE. - English: So, intercede for me so that it will be settled, for I am turning my face towards you for settling my request, since I know for sure that you enjoy with Allah admissible word of intercession, and praiseworthy standing. So, I ask you in the name of Him Who granted you (i.e. the Ahl al-Bayt) exclusively the right of representing Him, and admitted you all to keep His secrets, and I ask you in the name of the standing that you exclusively enjoy with Allah, to ask Allah, the Exalted, to render successful my request, to answer my prayer, and to relieve my grief. - Urdu: پس ان حاجات کے پوری ہونے میں شفاعت کیجئے کہ اپنی حاجت لے کر آپ کی خدمت میں آیاہوں یہ جانتے ہوئے کہ خدا کے حضور آپ کی شفاعت مقبول ہے اور آپ کا مقام قابلِ ستائش ہے پس اس ذات کے واسطے سے جس نے آپ کو اس امرکے لئے چنا ہے یا اپنے اسرار کے لئے پسند کیا اور اس شان کے واسطے سے جو خدا کے ہاں آپ کو حاصل ہے جو آپ کے اور اس کے درمیان ہے اﷲ سے سوال کیجئے کہ وہ میری حاجت پوری کرے دعا قبول فرمائے اور میری مشکل کو آسان کرے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN - English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny. - Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔ --- Published by Fatima Zahra Imamia Centre, North Ipswich QLD, https://fzic.org.
