# La ilaha illallaho ada-dal

## Text

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ عَدَدَ اللَّيَالِيْ وَالدُّهُوْرِ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ عَدَدَ اَمْوَاجِ الْبُحُوْرِ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَرَحْمَتُهٗ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُوْنَ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ عَدَدَ الشَّوْكِ وَالشَّجَرِ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ عَدَدَ الشَّعْرِ وَالْوَبَرِ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ عَدَدَ الْقَطْرِ وَالْمَطْرِ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ عَدَدَ الْحَجَرِ وَالْمَدَرِ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ عَدَدَ لَمْحِ الْعُيُوْنِ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ فِي اللَّيْلِ اِذَا عَسْعَسَ وَفِيْ الصُّبْحِ اِذَا تَنَفَّسَ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ عَدَدَ الرِّيَاحِ فِي الْبَرَارِيْ وَالصُّحُوْرِ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ مِنَ الْيَوْمِ اِلٰى يَوْمِ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّوْرِ۔
- Transliteration: LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO A'DA-DAL LAYAA-LEE WAD DO-HOORE, LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO A'DADA AMWAA-JIL BO-HOORE, LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO WA RAH-MATO-HU KHAI-RUM MIMMAA YAJ-MA-O'ONA, LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO A'DA-DASH SHAW-KE WASH SHAJA-RE, LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO A'DA-DASH SHA’RE. LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO A'DA-DAL QATRE WAL MATRE, LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO A'DA-DAL HAJRE WAL MADARE, LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO A'DA-DAL LAM-HIL O'YOO-NE, LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO FIL LAIY-LE EZAA A'S-A'SA WA FIS-SUB-HE EZAA TA-NAF-FASA, LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO A'DA-DAR REYAA-HE FIL BARAA-REE WAS-SO-HOORE, LAA ELAAHA ILLAL LAAHO MENAL YAW-ME ELAA YAW-ME YUN-FA-KHO FIS SOORE.
- English: There is no god save Allah, in the midst of the multitude of nights and days. There is no god save Allah, in the midst of the repeating concourse of the waves moving across the surface of the oceans. There is no god save Allah, His loving kindness (mercy) out-balances their addition put together. There is no god save Allah, in the midst of the plentitude of plants and leaves. There is no god save Allah, in the midst of countless pores and mass of hairs. There is no god save Allah, in the midst of numerous stones and particles in heaps. There is no god save Allah, in the midst of quite a many flashes of the eyes. There is no god save Allah, in the hours of every night when darkness begins to deepen and at every daybreak when light shines bright. There is no god save Allah, in the midst of thousands of winds blowing over the plains and mountains. There is no god save Allah from this day up to the day when the Trumpet will be blown. (the final call).
- Urdu: اﷲ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں راتوں اور زمانوں کی تعداد میں اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں سمندروں کی موجوں کے برابر اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور اس کی رحمت بہتر ہے اس سے جو وہ جمع کرتے ہیں اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں درختوں اور کانٹوں کی تعداد کے برابر اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں بالوں اور دن کے ریشوں کی تعداد کے برابر اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں پتھروں اور ڈھیلوں کی تعداد کے برابر اﷲ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں پلکوں کے جھپکنے کی تعداد کے برابر اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں رات جب تاریک ہوجائے اور صبح کو جب وہ روشن ہو اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ہواؤں اور بیابانوں اور صحراؤں کی تعداد کے برابر اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں آج سے صور پھونکنے کے دن تک کے دنوں میں۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN
- English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
- Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
