# Namaz-e-Juma & Eids

- Instruction: Fazl Ibn Shaazan narrates on the authority of Imam Reza (a) that he said: “One must know that sermon is to be recited in the beginning of Friday prayer and in the end of Eid’e Fitr and Eid’e Qurban because Friday prayer is perpetual matter and performed several times in a month and more in a year. People may get tired if the sermon is delivered after the prayer. They may leave it. But as the prayers of Eid’e Fitr and Eid’e Qurban are held at the most twice in a year its magnificience is more than Friday prayer and people assemble enmasse on these occasions.”
- Instruction (Urdu): فضل ابن شازن، امام رضاؑ سے روایت کرتے ہے کہ امامؑ نے فرمایا: معلوم ہو کہ جمعہ کا خطبہ نمازِ جمعہ سے پہلے پڑھا جائے، اور عید الفطر اور عید القربان کا خطبہ نماز کے بعد ہو، اس لئے کہ نمازِ جمعہ سال میں کہیں مرتبہ یعنی ہر ہفتہ ہوتی ہے اور لوگ شاید تھک جایں اگر جمعہ کا خطبہ نماز کے بعد ہو اور خطبہ چھوڑ کر چلے جایں۔ مگر نمازِ عید الفطر اور عید القربان صرف سال میں دو مرتبہ ہوتی ہے اور نمازِ عید کی فضیلت نمازِ جمعہ سے زیادہ ہے اور لوگ کثیر تعداد میں جمع ہوتے ہے۔
