# Namaz of Friday Eve

- Instruction: Quoting the book of Kunuz Najah by Shaikh Yabrisi, the author of Najm Thaqib mentioned the following statement to have come from the Holy Region (Imam Mahdi): “Whoever has a request to be urgently granted by Almighty Allah, may bathe himself after midnight at a Friday night, directs towards his place of prayer, and offers a 2 unit prayer. In each unit, he may recite [Surah Fateha](https://fzic.org/library/quran/1-fateha-7-1074), but when he reaches this holy verse, he should repeat it 100 times. He may then continue reciting this Surah. After that, he may recite [Surah Ikhlaas](https://fzic.org/library/quran/112-ikhlaas-4-1185) once. The same thing may be done in the second unit. The doxologies of glorifying God that are said in the genuflection (ruku) and prostrations (sujood) of the prayers may be repeated 7-7 times in this prayer…
- Instruction (Urdu): شيخ طبرسی ؒ نے نجم الثاقب میں کتاب کنوز النجا ح سے نقل فرمايا ہے کہ حضور امام الزمان عجل لله فرجہ کی طرف سے يہ حکم صادر ہوا ہے کہ جسے درگاه الہی میں کوئی حاجت پيش کرنا ہو تو وه شب جمعہ کی آدھی رات کو بعد غسل کرے اور جائے نماز پر جاکر ۲ رکعت نماز اس طرح پڑھے کہ ہر رکعت میں [سورۂ فاتحہ](https://fzic.org/library/quran/1-fateha-7-1074) کی قرأت میں اس آیت کو۱۰۰ مرتبہ پڑھے اور پھر سوره تا آخر پڑھے، رکوع و سجود کے اذکار کو ۷۔۷ مرتبہ پڑھے۔۔۔

- Arabic: اِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَاِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِيْنُ۔
- Transliteration: IYYAAKA NA’BODO WA IYYAAKA NASTA’EEN.
- English: Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help.
- Urdu: پروردگار! ہم تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں ا ور تجھی سے مدد چاہتے ہیں۔

- Arabic: سُبْحَانَ رَبِّیَ الْعَظِیْمِ وَبِحَمْدِهٖ۔
- Transliteration: SUBHAANA RABBE-YAL A’ZEEME WA BE-HAMDE-HI.
- English: Glory be to my Lord the great, and praise belongs to Him.
- Urdu: پاک ہے ميرا رب عظمت والا ہے اس کی حمد کرتا ہوں ۔

- Instruction: Upon accomplishment of the prayer, he may beseech Almighty Allah using [Allahumma in at’ato-ka](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-in-atato-ka-2920) supplicatory prayer. If he does, Almighty Allah will most certainly grant him his request unless it results in rupture of relations with one’s relatives.
- Instruction (Urdu): نماز تمام کرنے کے بعد دعا[اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنْ اَطْعَتُكَ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/allahumma-in-atato-ka-2920) پڑھے تو الله تعالیٰ يقينًا اس کی دعا قبول فرمائيگا بشرطے کہ وه قطع رحمی کے لئے نہ ہو۔

- Instruction: You may now mention the one whom you anticipate to harm you by name and the father’s name (so-and-so the son of so-and-so) and beseech Almighty Allah to repel his harm and save from his evils. Most certainly, Almighty Allah will do, if He wills. Then, you may prostrate yourself, submit your request, and beseech Almighty Allah earnestly and purely. Verily, if any believing man or woman offers this prayer and says this supplicatory prayer, the doors to the heavens will be opened before him so that his requests will be granted and his prayer will be immediately responded, no matter what his prayer may be. This is one of the favors Almighty Allah has bestowed upon people and upon us.” The venerable son of Shaikh Tabrisi; namely, Radi Din Hasan ibn Fadl, has reported this prayer too in the book of Makarim Akhlaq with little difference in the supplicatory prayer. In the prefatory statement, he has added the word QAD (surely) after KUNTO (have been), the word AHADAN (anyone) after the word AKHAFA (fear), and the word AS‘ALOKA (I beseech You) after the word FIR‘AWNA (Pharaoh). However, the other words of the supplicatory prayer are the same.
- Instruction (Urdu): فلاں بن فلاں کی بجائے اس شخص کانام لے جس سے نقصان کا انديشہ ہو حق تعالیٰ سے دعا کرے کہ وه اس کے نقصان سے بچائے تو يقينًا الله تعالیٰ اسے اس شخص سے پہنچنے والے نقصان سے محفوظ رکھے گا اس کے بعد سر سجدے میں رکھ دے خدا کے حضور گڑ گڑاے اور اپنی حاجات طلب کرے پس جو مؤمن مرد و زن يہ دعا پڑھے تو اس کی حاجت برآری کے لئے اسی دن اور اسی رات آسمان کے دروازے کھل جائيں گے اس کی دعا قبول ہوگی خواه وه کسی بھی حاجت کے لئے ہو يہ کشادگی ہم پر اور سب لوگوں پر خدا وند عالم کے احسان و کرم کی وجہ سے ہے۔ مؤلف کہتے ہيں فاضل شيخ طبرسیؒ نے بھی مکارم اخلاق میں يہ دعا نقل کی ہے ليکن اس کے آغاز میں اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنْ کُنْتُ عَصَےْتُک کی بجائے اِنْ کُنْتُ قَدْ عَصَےْتُکَ آيا ہے حَتّٰی اَاخَافُ کے بعد اَحدًا کا اضافہ ہے فرعون کے بعد اَسْئَلُکَ ہے اور باقی دعا وہی ہے جو نقل کی گئی ہے۔
