# Pain of Eyes

- Instruction: Muhammad Ibn Ali Ibn Ja’far narrated on the authority of Imam Reza (a) that he (a) said: There is no doubt that recitation of [Surah Fateha](https://fzic.org/library/quran/1-fateha-7-1074) and al-Maoozatain ([Surah Falaq](https://fzic.org/library/quran/113-falaq-5-1186) and [Surah Naas](https://fzic.org/library/quran/114-naas-6-1187)), [Aayatul Kursi](https://fzic.org/library/quran/aayatul-kursi-1188) and by blowing the eye with the smoke of burning incense of al-Qust, (a certain Indian or Arabian wood), al-Murr (gum of a certain tree) and al-Luban (frankincense) will heal the effected eye.
- Instruction (Urdu): محمد ابن علی ابن جعفر، امام رضاؑ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ امامؑ نے فرمایا: اِس میں کوئی شک نہیں کہ [سورۂ فاتحہ](https://fzic.org/library/quran/1-fateha-7-1074)، سورہٴ معوذتین یعنی [سورۂ فلق](https://fzic.org/library/quran/113-falaq-5-1186) اور [سورۂ ناس](https://fzic.org/library/quran/114-naas-6-1187)، [آیت الکرسی](https://fzic.org/library/quran/aayatul-kursi-1188) پڑھ کر اُس دھویں پر جو ایک خاص عربی یہ ہندوستانی لکڑی کو جلانے سے نکلتا، المُر (کسی خاص پیڑ کا گوند) اور لوبان کے زریعے آنکھ پر پھونکنے سے آنکھ کو شفاء ملے گی۔
