# Protection of Goods

- Instruction: Imam Reza (a) said: Two brothers came to the Holy Prophet (s) and said: O Prophet of Allah (s) please teach us any invocation as we intend to go to Syria for business. The Holy Prophet (s) advised them: Whenever you reach at your destination recite Tasbeeh of Fatema Zahra (s) and [Aayatul Kursi](https://fzic.org/library/quran/aayatul-kursi-1188) after performing Isha prayer and before going to sleep. When they left Madinah the thieves followed them. When they stayed at a destination, the thieves sent their slave to see what those young men are doing? The slave told the thieves that they are sleeping. Both the young men were sleeping after performing Isha prayer and thereafter reciting [Tasbeeh-e-Zahra (s)](https://fzic.org/library/dua/tasbeeh-e-zahra-s-2161) and [Aayatul Kursi](https://fzic.org/library/quran/aayatul-kursi-1188). Again the slave came to see the brother so as to inform the thieves about them. Suddenly, the slave saw walls surrounding the brothers. He came back to the thieves and told them the story. The thieves said: ‘You are not telling the truth due to fear. When the thieves went themselves they also didn’t see anything but walls. The next morning the thieves went to the brothers and said: We wanted to steal your goods but last night we didn’t see anything but walls. The brothers told them the whole story and the thieves said: We will not follow you anymore because with what you say nobody can rob you of your goods.
- Instruction (Urdu): امام رضاؑ نے فرمایا: دو بھائی رسول خداؐ کی خدمت میں پہنچے اور کہا: اے اللہ کے رسولؐ ہم تجارت کی غرض سے شام جا رہے ہیں، ہمیں کوئی ایسا عمل بتائیں کہ جس سے ہمارا مال محفوض رہے۔ رسول خداؐ نے انہیں نصیحت کے طور پر فرمایا: جب تم کسی مقام پر پہنچوں تو نماز عشاء کے بعد اور سونے سے پہلے تسبیح زہراؑ اور آیت الکرسی پڑھوں۔ جب وہ مدینہ سے روانہ ہوئے تو چوروں نے ان کا پیچھا کیا۔ جب وہ کسی مقام پر ٹھہرے تو چوروں نے اپنے غلام  کو بھیجا کہ دیکھو وہ دو بھائی کیا کر رہے ہیں؟ غلام نے چوروں کو آ کر خبر دی کہ وہ سو رہے ہیں۔ یہ دونوں بھائی عشاء کی نماز کے بعد اور سونے سے پہلے [تسبیح زہراؑ](https://fzic.org/library/dua/tasbeeh-e-zahra-s-2161) اور [آیت الکرسی](https://fzic.org/library/quran/aayatul-kursi-1188) پڑھ کر سو رہے تھے۔ پھر سے غلام نے آ کر اُن دونوں بھائی کی خبر لی تو دیکھا کہ دیوار انہیں گھیرے ہؤے ہے۔ وہ چوروں کے پاس آ کر سارا ماجرہ بیان کیا۔ چوروں نے اپنے غلام کو جٹھلایا اور کہا کہ تم خوف کی وجہ سے جوٹھ بول رہے ہو۔ جب چوروں نے خود جا کر دیکھا تو انہیں بھی دیوار ہی نظر آئی۔ دوسرے دن صبح کو وہ سارے چور ان بھائیوں سے ملنے گئے اور کہا: ہم پچھلی رات کو تمہارا مال چوری کرنا چاہ رہے تھے، مگر ہم نے دیوار کے علاوہ کچھ نہیں دکھا۔ ان بھائیوں نے سارا واقعہ بیان فرمایا تو اس پر چوروں نے کہا: اب ہم تمہارا پیچھا نہیں کرینگے، اس لئے کہ جو تم نے کہا اس پر تو کوئی بھی تمہارا مال چوری نہیں کر سکتا۔
