- Instruction: Like obligatory prayers, it is highly recommended to practice Qunoot in the 2nd unit of each couple of the units of supererogatory prayers. At least, it is sufficient to repeat the following statement 3 times in Qunoot…
- Instruction (Urdu): جس طرح ہر واجبی نماز میں قنوت مستحب ہے اسی طرح نوافل کی ہر دوسری رکعت میں بھی قنوت مستحب ہے اور قنوت میں صرف ۳ بار کہے۔۔۔

- Arabic: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ۔
- Transliteration: SUBHAANALLAAH.
- English: Glory be to Allah.
- Urdu: خدا پاک ومنزہ ہے۔

- Instruction: It is also sufficient to say this supplicatory prayer…
- Instruction (Urdu): يہ دعا پڑھنا بھی کافی ہے۔۔۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَعَافِنَا وَاعْفُ عَنَّا فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّشَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAAHUM-MAGH-FIR LANAA WAR-HAMNAA WA ‘AAFE-NAA WA’FO ‘ANNAA FID-DUNYAA WAL AA-KHERA-TE INNA-KA ‘ALAA KULLE SHAI-IN QADEER.
- English: O Allah, forgive us, have mercy on us, grant us well-being, and pardon us in this world and the Hereafter. Surely You have power over all things.
- Urdu: اے معبود! ہميں بخش دے ہم پر رحم فرما ،محفوظ رکھ ،ہم سے درگزر فرما دنيااور آخرت ميں بے شک تو ہر چيز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے۔

- Instruction: or this supplicatory prayer…
- Instruction (Urdu): يا يہ دعا پڑھے۔۔۔

- Arabic: رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَتَجَاوَزْ عَمَّا تَعْلَمُ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْاَعَزُّ الْاَجَلُّ الْاَكْرَمُ۔‏
- Transliteration: RABBIGH FIR WAR-HAM WA TAJAA-WAZ A’MMAA TA’LAMO INNA-KA ANTAL A-A’ZZUL AJAL-LUL AKRAMO.
- English: O Lord! Forgive, have mercy and excuse for what You know. Surely, You are the Magnificent the Most Generous.
- Urdu: اے اللہ! بخش دے اور رحم کر، جس کو تو جانتا ہے اس سے درگزر فرما، بے شک تو عزیز تر، بلند تر اور بڑے کرم والا ہے۔

- Instruction: It is narrated that Imam Musa Kazim (a) used to say the dua of [Sahifa-e-Sajjadiya-50](https://fzic.org/library/dua/50-fear-of-allah-1376) in his night worship.
- Instruction (Urdu): ايک روايت میں ہے کہ جب امام موسیٰ کاظمؑ محراب عبادت میں کھڑے ہوتے تو دعا [صحیفۂ سجادیہ دعا -۵۰](https://fzic.org/library/dua/50-fear-of-allah-1376)پڑھا کرتے تھے۔
