# Removal of Warts

- Instruction: Ali ibn No’man narrates that he told Imam Reza (a), May I be your ransom! I have many warts on my body. Please teach me something I can benefit from.’ The Imam (a) said, “Take seven barley seeds for each wart on your body. Recite (56:1-6) and (20:105-107) 7 times over each seed and then blow over it. Take one seed at a time and rub each seed on one wart. Then put all of the seeds in a wet cloth, tie it up and hang it up in a dark place. Ali ibn No’man reported, I did so and on the seventh day I looked. There were no longer any signs of the warts. Everything was as clear as the palm of my hand. Imam (a) said: It is best to do this at the end of the month when the Earth is dark (i.e moon is not visible)…
- Instruction (Urdu): علی ابن نومان نے روایت کی ہے کہ اُنہوں نے امام رضاؑ سے کہا: میں آپ پر فدا! مجھے بدن پر بہت سارے مسے ہیں، مجھے کچھ ایسی تعلیم دیں کہ جس سے میں فایدہ اُٹھاؤ۔ امامؑ نے فرمایا: ۷ جوء کے دانے ہر ایک مسے کے لئے الگ سے لو، اور ہر ایک دانے پر ۷ مرتبہ نیچے دی ہوئی آیتوں کو پڑھ کر اُس پر دم کرو، ایک بار میں ایک دانا لے کر اُس مسے پر گیسوں، اسی طرح سے ہر مسے پر ایک ایک دانا گیس کر، پھر تمام دانوں کو ایک گیلئے کپڑے میں باندھ کر ایک اندھیری جگہ پر لٹکا دو۔ علی ابن نومان لکھتے ہیں، میں نے ایسا کیا اور ساتویں دن جب میں نے دکھا تو مسوں کی کوئی نشانی باقی نہیں تھی، سب ہاتھ کی ہتھلی کی طرح صاف ہو گئی تھی۔ امامؑ نے فرمایا: یہ عمل مہینے کے آخری تاریخوں میں انجام دینا بہتر ہے جب آسمان میں اندھیرا (یعنی چاند نہیں دکھائی دیتا) ہو۔۔۔

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: اِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ۔ لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ۔ خَافِضَةٌ رَّافِعَةٌ۔ اِذَا رُجَّتِ الْاَرْضُ رَجًّا۔ وَبُسَّتِ الْجِبَالُ بَسًّا۔ فَكَانَتْ هَبَاۗءً مُّنْۢبَثًّا۔
- Transliteration: IZAA WAQA’ATIL WAAQI’AH. LAISA LIWAQ’ATIHAA KAAZIBAH. KHAFIDATUR RAAFI’AH. IZAA RUJJATIL ARDU RAJJAA. WA BUSSATIL JIBAALU BASSAA. FAKAANAT HABAAA’AM MUMBASSAA.
- English: When the great event comes to pass. There is no belying its coming to pass. Abasing (one party), exalting (the other). When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking. And the mountains shall be made to crumble with (an awful) crumbling. So that they shall be as scattered dust.
- Urdu: جب قیامت برپا ہو گی۔ اور اس کے قائم ہونے میں ذرا بھی جھوٹ نہیں ہے۔ وہ الٹ پلٹ کر دینے والی ہو گی۔ جب زمین کو زبردست جھٹکے لگیں گے۔ اور پہاڑ بالکل چور چور ہو جائیں گے۔ پھر ذرّات بن کر منتشر ہو جائیں گے۔

- Arabic: وَيَسْئَلُوْنَكَ عَنِ الْجِبَالِ فَقُلْ يَنْسِفُهَا رَبِّيْ نَسْفًا۔ فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعًا صَفْصَفًا۔ لَا تَرٰى فِيْهَا عِوَجًا وَّلَآ اَمْتًا۔
- Transliteration: WA YAS’ALOONAKA ’ANIL JIBAALI FAQUL YANSIFUHAA RABBEE NASFAA. FA YAZARUHAA QAA’AN SAFSAFAA. LAA TARAA FEEHAA ’IWAJANW WA LAAA AMTAA.
- English: And they ask you about the mountains. Say: My Lord will carry them away from the roots. Then leave it a plain, smooth level. You shall not see therein any crookedness or unevenness.
- Urdu: اور یہ لوگ آپ سے پہاڑوں کے بارے میں پوچھتے ہیں کہ قیامت میں ان کا کیا ہوگا تو کہہ دیجئے کہ میرا پروردگار انہیں ریزہ ریزہ کرکے اڑادے گا۔ پھر زمین کو چٹیل میدان بنادے گا۔ جس میں تم کسی طرح کی کجی ناہمواری نہ دیکھو گے۔
