- Instruction: Yunus ibn Abd al-Rahman narrates the following: “I once asked Imam Reza (a) about the engraving on his ring and the ring of his father (a). He (a) said, ‘The engraving on my ring says…
- Instruction (Urdu): یونس ابن عبد الرحمان فرماتے ہیں: ایک مرتبہ میں نے امام رضاؑ سے معلوم کیا کہ اُن کی اور اُن کے والد کی انگوٹھی پر کیا لکھا ہوا ہے؟ امامؑ نے فرمایا: میری انگوٹھی پر یہ کلمات ہیں۔۔۔

- Arabic: مَا شَاءَ اللهُ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ۔
- Transliteration: MAASHAA ALLAAHO LAA QUWWATA ILLAA BILLAAH.
- English: It is whatever Allah wants, there is no power except the power of Allah.
- Urdu: وہی جو خدا چاہے، نہیں ہے کوئی طاقت سوائے اللہ سے۔

- Instruction: and the engraving on the ring of my father was…
- Instruction (Urdu): اور میرے والد کی انگوٹھی پر یہ لکھا ہوا ہے۔۔۔

- Arabic: حَسْبِیَ اللہُ۔
- Transliteration: HASBE-YALLAAHO.
- English: Allah suffices for me.
- Urdu: اللہ میرے لئے کافی ہے۔
