Upon looking at the water, it is recommended to say the following… - Instruction (Urdu): بہتر ہے کہ وضو کرتے وقت قبلہ رخ ہو کر بیٹھے پانی کا برتن داہنی طرف رکھے اور جب پانی پر نگاہ پڑے تو یہ دعا پڑھے۔۔۔ - Arabic: اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ الْمَاۗءَ طَهُوْرًا وَّلَمْ یَجْعَلْهُ نَجِسًا۔ - Transliteration: BISMILLAAHE WA BIL-LAAHE, WAL HAMDO LILLAA-HIL LAZEE JA-A’LAL MAA-A-TAHOO-RAN WA LAM YAJ-A’L-HO NAJE-SAN. - English: In the name of Allah and by Allah, all praise is for Allah who made water pure and did not make it impure. - Urdu: حمد ہے خدا کے لیے جس نے پانی کو پاکیزہ بنایا اور اسے ناپاک نہیں بنایا۔ - Instruction: Before putting the hand in the bowl, it is recommended to wash it. At putting it there, it is recommended to say the following… - Instruction (Urdu): پانی کے برتن کو ہاتھ لگانے سے پہلے ہاتھوں کو دھوئے اور یہ دعا پڑھے۔۔۔ - Arabic: بِسْمِ اللهِ وَبِاللهِ، اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِيْ مِنَ التَّـوَّابِیْنَ وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِیْنَ۔ - Transliteration: BISMILLAAHE WA BIL-LAAHE, ALLAAHUM-MAJ A’L-NEE MENAT TAWWAA-BEENA WAJ-A’L-NEE MENAL MOTA-TAHHE-REENA. - English: In the name of Allah and by Allah. O Allah! Make me of those who often repent and make me of those who purify themselves. - Urdu: خدا کے نام سے اور اس کی ذات کے سہارے سے خدایا! تو مجھے توبہ کرنے اور پاک وپاکیزہ رہنے والوں میں قرار دے۔ - Instruction: You may then rinse out your mouth with three handfuls of water 3 times and say the following… - Instruction (Urdu): اب ۳ چلو پانی سے ۳ مرتبہ کلی کرتے ہوئے کہے۔۔۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ لَقِّنِّيْ حُجَّتِيْ يَوْمَ اَلْقَاكَ، وَاَطْلِقْ لِسَانِيْ بِذِكْرِكَ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA LAQQE-NEE HUJJATEE YAWMA AL-QAAKA, WA ATLIQ LESAA-NEE BE-ZIKRE-KA. - English: O Allah! Inculcate in me my proof on the day I meet You, and make my tongue fluent with Your remembrance. - Urdu: خدایا !قیامت میں پیشی کے وقت مجھے میری حجت بتا دینا اور میری زبان کو اپنے ذکر میں رواں کر دینا۔ - Instruction: You may then inhale water (from the nose) 3 times and say the following… - Instruction (Urdu): پھر ۳ مرتبہ ناک میں پانی ڈالتے ہوئے کہے۔۔۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تُحَرِّمْ عَلَيَّ رِيْحَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِمَّن يَّشَمُّ رِيْحَهَا وَرَوْحَهَا وَطِيْبَهَا۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA LAA TO-HARRIM A’LAIYYA REEHAL JANNATE, WAJ-A’L-NEE MIM MAIY-YA-SHAMMO REEHA-HAA WA RAWHA-HAA WA TEEBA-HAA. - English: O Allah! Do not deprive me of the fragrance of Paradise, and make me of those who smell its fragrance, its breeze, and its perfume. - Urdu: خدایا! مجھ پر جنت کی خوشبو حرام نہ فرمااور مجھے ان لوگوں میں رکھ جوجنت کی خوشبو،راحت اور ہوا سے فیض یاب ہوں گے۔ - Instruction: You may then begin with washing the face, saying the following… - Instruction (Urdu): اس کےبعد اپنا مُنہ دھوتے ہوئے کہے۔۔۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ بَـيِّضْ وَجْهِيْ يَوْمَ تَسْوَدُّ فِيْهِ الْوُجُوْهُ، وَلَا تُسَوِّدْ وَجْهِيْ يَوْمَ تَـبْـيَضُّ الْوُجُوْهُ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA BAIYYIZ WAJHEE YAWMA TAS-WADDO FEEHIL WOJOO-HO, WA LAA TO-SAWWID WAJHEE YAWMA TAB-YAZZUL WOJOO-HO. - English: O Allah! Brighten my face on the day when (some) faces shall darken, and do not darken my face on the day when (some) faces shall brighten. - Urdu: اے معبود! میرے چہرے کو اس دن سفید کرنا جب چہرے سیاہ ہوں گے اور میرے چہرے کو اس دن سیاہ نہ کرنا جب چہرے سفید ہوں گے۔ - Instruction: You may then take a handful of water to wash your right hand, saying the following… - Instruction (Urdu): پھر چلو میں پانی لے کر دائیں ہاتھ کو دھوتے وقت یہ کہے۔۔۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ اَعْطِنِيْ كِتَابِيْ بِيَمِيْنِيْ، وَالْخُـلْدَ فِي الْجِنَانِ بِيَسَارِيْ، وَحَاسِبْنِيْ حِسَابًا يَّسِيْرًا۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA A’TE-NEE KETAA-BEE BE-YAMEE-NEE, WAL KHULDA FIL JENAA-NE BE-YASAA-REE, WA HAASIB-NEE HESAA-BAN YASEE-RAN. - English: O Allah! Give me my book (of deeds) in my right hand, and a permanent stay in Paradise with ease, and account me (my deeds) with an easy accounting. - Urdu: خدایا! میرا نامۂ اعمال میرے دائیں ہاتھ میں دینا مجھے ہمیشہ جنت میں رہنے کا اختیار دینا اور میرا حساب سہولت کے ساتھ لینا۔ - Instruction: You may then wash your left hand and say the following… - Instruction (Urdu): اب بائیں ہاتھ کو دھوتے ہوئے یہ کہے۔۔۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تُعْطِنِيْ كِتَابِيْ بِثِمَالِيْ وَلَا مِنْ وَّرَاۗءِ ظَهْرِیْ وَلَا تَجْعَلْهَا مَغْلُوْلَۃً اِلٰی عُنُقِیْ وَاَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ مُّقَطَّعَاتِ النِّیْرَانِ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA LAA TO’TE-NEE KETAA-BEE BE-SHEMAA LEE, WA LAA MIW-WARAA-E ZAHREE, WA LAA TAJ-A’L-HAA MAGH-LOO-LATAN ILAA ONO-QEE, WA A-OO’ZO BEKA MIM-MOQATTA-AA’TIN NEERAA-NE. - English: O Allah! Do not give me my book (of deeds) in my left hand, nor from behind my back, and do not chain it to my neck. I seek refuge with You from the garments of hellfire. - Urdu: خدایا !میرا نامۂ اعمال بائیں ہاتھ میں نہ دینا اور نہ پیٹھ پیچھے سے دینا اور نہ اس کو میرے گلے میں ٹکانا اور میں جہنم کے انگاروں سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں۔ - Instruction: You may then rub the forepart of your head with your wetted forefingers of your right hand and say the following… - Instruction (Urdu): اس کے بعد دائیں ہاتھ کی تری سے سر کے اگلے حصے کا مسح کرتے ہوئے کہے۔۔۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ غَشِّنِيْ رَحْمَتِكَ وَبَـرَكَاتِكَ وَعَفْوِكَ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA GHASH-SHENEE BE-RAHMATE-KA WA BARA-KAATE-KA WA A’F-WEKA. - English: O Allah! Envelop me in Your mercy, Your blessings, and Your pardon. - Urdu: خدایا !مجھے اپنی رحمت اور برکتوں سے ڈھانپ دے۔ - Instruction: You may then rub your feet, saying the following… - Instruction (Urdu): پھر دونوں پیروں کا مسح کرتے ہوئے یہ دعا پڑھے۔۔۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ ثَـبِّتْنِيْ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ يَوْمَ تَزِلُّ فِيْهِ الْاَقْدَامُ، وَاجْعَلْ سَعْيِيْ فِيْمَا يُـرْضِيْكَ عَنِّيْ، یَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْاِکْرَامِ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA SABBIT-NEE A’LAS SERAATE YAWMA TAZILLO FEE-HIL AQDAA-MO, WAJ-A’L SA’YEE FEEMAA YURZEE-KA A’NNEE, YAA ZAL JALAALE WAL IKRAA-ME. - English: O Allah! Keep me firmly on the path on the day when feet shall stumble, and let my efforts be in those things that make You pleased with me, O Possessor of Majesty and Bounty! - Urdu: خدایا !اس دن مجھے صراط پر ثابت قدم رکھنا جب قدم پھسل رہے ہوں گے اور میری کوشش کو ان کاموں میں قرار دے جو تجھےپسند ہیں اے جلال واکرام کے مالک۔ - Instruction: Upon accomplishment of the ritual ablution, you may say the following… - Instruction (Urdu): جب وضو کر چکے تو یہ کہے۔۔۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ تَمَامَ الْوُضُوْۗءِ وَتَمَامَ الصَّلٰوةِ وَتَمَامَ رِضْوَانِكَ وَالْجَنَّةَ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA INNEE AS-ALOKA TAMAA-MAL WOZOO-E, WA TAMAA-MAS SALAA-TE, WA TAMAA-MA RIZ-WAANE-KA WAL-JANNATA. - English: O Allah, I ask You for complete ablution, complete prayer, the fullness of Your pleasure, and Paradise. - Urdu: اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ میرا وضو کامل ہو نماز مکمل ہو اور مجھے تیری خوشنودی اور جنت حاصل ہو۔ - Instruction: You may also say the following… - Instruction (Urdu): اس کے بعد کہے۔۔۔ - Arabic: اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ - Transliteration: ALHAMDU LILLAAHI RABBIL ’AALAMEEN. - English: All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. - Urdu: ساری تعریف اللہ کے لئے ہے جو عالمین کا پالنے والا ہے۔ - Instruction: Then recite [Surah Qadr](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170) 3 times, after wuzu apply perfume and then move towards masjid (praying mat) with tranquility and solemnity. - Instruction (Urdu): پھر ۳ مرتبہ [سورۂ قدر](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170) پڑھے، وضو کے بعد خوشبو لگائے اور مسجد کی طرف سکون و وقار سے جائے۔ --- Published by Fatima Zahra Imamia Centre, North Ipswich QLD, https://fzic.org.
