# Safe from Evil Eye

- Instruction: Muhammad Ibn Isa reports that when a person asked Imam Reza (a) about the effects of evil eye, he (a) said: It is a fact. When it affects you, raise your open palms in front of your face together and recite: [Surah Fateha](https://fzic.org/library/quran/1-fateha-7-1074), [Surah Ikhlaas](https://fzic.org/library/quran/112-ikhlaas-4-1185), [Surah Falaq](https://fzic.org/library/quran/113-falaq-5-1186) and [Surah Naas](https://fzic.org/library/quran/114-naas-6-1187) and rub them on your forehead. Then it would be beneficial if Allah, the High - wills.
- Instruction (Urdu): محمد ابن عیسٰی روایت کرتے ہیں کہ جب ایک شخص امام رضاؑ سے نظر بد کے بارے میں سوال کیا تو امام نے فرمایا: یہ ایک حقیقت ہے، جب تمہیں اس کا اثر ہو جائے، تو اپنی ہتھلیوں کو جوڑ کر اپنے چہرے تک بلند کرو اور [سورۂ فاتحہ](https://fzic.org/library/quran/1-fateha-7-1074)، [سورۂ اخلاص](https://fzic.org/library/quran/112-ikhlaas-4-1185)، [سورۂ فلق](https://fzic.org/library/quran/113-falaq-5-1186) اور [سورۂ ناس](https://fzic.org/library/quran/114-naas-6-1187) کی تلاوت کر کے اپنی ہتھلیوں کو اپنی پیشانی پر مل دو۔ اگر اللہ نے چاہا تو تمہیں اس کا فائدہ ضرور ہو گا۔
