- Instruction: Kulayni and Barqi have reported through valid chains of authority that Imam Sadiq and Imam Kazim (a) said: When evening falls and you look at the sun setting and falling, you may say the following words, because they secure you from all beasts, from the evils of Satan the accursed and his offspring, from whatever bites and stings, and from thieves and demons…
- Instruction (Urdu): شيخ کلينیؒ و برقیؒ نے معتبر اسناد کے ساتھ حضرت امام جعفر صادقؑ اور امام موسیٰ کا ظمؑ  سے روايت کی ہے کہ جب سورج غروب ہونے کے قريب ہوتو يہ دعا پڑھو تاکہ ہر درندے، ہر شيطان لعين اور اس کی اولاد کے شر سے اور ہر کاٹنے والے زہريلے جانور نيز چوروں اور جنوں سے محفوظ رہے۔۔۔

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِىْ لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهٗ شَرِيْكٌ فِى الْمُلْكِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِىْ يَصِفُ وَلَا يُوْصَفُ وَيَعْلَمُ وَلَا يُعْلَمُ يَعْلَمُ خَاۗئِنَةَ الْاَعْيُنِ وَمَا تُخْفِى الصُّدُوْرُ وَاَعُوْذُ بِوَجْهِ اللهِ الْكَرِيْمِ وَبِاسْمِ اللهِ الْعَظِيْمِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا ذَرَءَ وَبَرَءَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَحْتَ الثَّرٰى وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا ظَهَرَ وَمَا بَطَنَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا كَانَ فِى اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ اَبِىْ قِتْرَةَ وَمَا وَلَدَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ الرَّسِيْسِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا وَصَفْتُ وَمَا لَمْ اَصِفْ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔
- Transliteration: AL-HAMDO LILLAA-HIL LAZEE LAM YATTA-KHIZ WALA-DAN WA LAM YAKUN LAHU SHAREE-KOON FIL MULKE WAL-HAMDO LILLAA-HIL LAZEE YA-SEFO WA LAA YOO-SAFO WA YA’LAMO WA LAA YU’LAMO YA’LAMO KHAAA-E-NATAL A’YONE WA MAA TUKH-FIS SO-DOORO WA A’OOZO BE-WAJHIL LAAHIL KAREE-ME WA BISMILLAA-HIL ‘AZEEME MIN SHARRE MAA ZARA-A WA BARA-A WA MIN SHARRE MAA TAH-TASSARAA WA MIN SHARRE MAA ZAHARA WA MAA BATANA WA MIN SHARRE MAA KAANA FIL LAIY-LE WAN NAHAA-RE WA MIN SHARRE ABEE QIT-RATA WA MAA WALADA WA MIN SHAR-RIR RA-SEESE WA MIN SHARRE MAA WA SAFTO WA MAA LAM A-SIF WAL HAMDO LILLAA-HE RABBIL ‘AALA-MEEN.
- English: All praise is for Allah He has not taken a child, and He has no partner in His dominion. And all praise is for Allah He describes (everything), yet cannot be fully described; He knows, yet cannot be fully known. He knows the treachery of the eyes and what the hearts conceal. And I seek refuge in the Noble Face of Allah and in the Mighty Name of Allah from the evil of whatever He has created and brought into being; from the evil of whatever is beneath the earth; from the evil of what is outward and what is hidden; from the evil of whatever is in the night and the day; from the evil of Abu Qitrah and what he has produced; from the evil of ar-Rasees; and from the evil of what I have mentioned and what I have not mentioned. And all praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds.
- Urdu: تمام حمد اللہ کے لیے ہے جس نے نہ کوئی اولاد بنائی اور نہ اس کی بادشاہی میں کوئی شریک ہے۔ اور تمام حمد اللہ کے لیے ہے جو (ہر چیز کو) بیان کرتا ہے مگر وہ خود مکمل طور پر بیان نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔ وہ جانتا ہے مگر اسے کوئی پوری طرح جان نہیں سکتا۔ وہ آنکھوں کی چوری (چھپی ہوئی نظر) کو بھی جانتا ہے اور سینوں میں چھپی باتوں کو بھی۔ اور میں اللہ کے کریم چہرے کی پناہ لیتا ہوں اور اللہ کے عظیم نام کے وسیلے سے ہر اس چیز کے شر سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں جسے اس نے پیدا کیا اور وجود میں لایا؛ اور زمین کی تہہ کے نیچے کی چیزوں کے شر سے؛ اور ظاہر و باطن کے شر سے؛ اور رات اور دن میں ہونے والی ہر برائی کے شر سے؛ اور ابو قِطرہ اور اس کی اولاد / اس کے پیدا کیے ہوئے (شر) سے؛ اور الرّسیس کے شر سے؛ اور جن چیزوں کا میں نے ذکر کیا ہے اور جن کا ذکر نہیں کیا سب کے شر سے۔ اور تمام حمد اللہ ربّ العالمین کے لیے ہے۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN
- English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
- Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
