# Sunday **Urdu title:** دُعاء روز اتو ار **Section:** Dua -- Fatima Zahra Imamia Centre devotional library **Page:** https://fzic.org/library/dua/sunday-1420 ## Text - Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ - Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM - English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful. - Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔ - Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الَّذِیْ لَا اَرْجُوْ اِلَّافَضْلَہٗ وَلَااَخْشٰی اِلَّاعَدْلَہٗ وَلَااَعْتَمِدُ اِلَّاقَوْلَہٗ وَلَااُمْسِکُ اِلَّابِحَبْلِہٖ بِکَ اَسْتَجِیْرُ یَاذَالْعَفْوِ وَالرِّضْوَانِ مِنَ الظُّلْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَمِنْ غِیَرِ الزَّمَانِ وَتَوَاتُرِالْاَحْزَانِ وَطَوَارِقِ الْحَدَثَانِ وَمِنِ انْقِضٰآئِ الْمُدَّۃِ قَبْلَ التَّاَھُّبِ وَالْعُدَّۃِ۔ - Transliteration: BISMILLAA-HIL LAZEE LAA ARJOO ILLAA FAZLA-HU WA LAA AKH-SHAA ILLAA A’DLA-HU WA LAA A’TAME-DO ILLAA QAWLA-HU WA LAA OOM-SEKO ILLAA BE-HABLE-HI BEKA ASTA-JEERO YAA ZAL-A’FEW WAR-RIZ-WAANE MENAZ ZULME WAL-OOD-WAANE WA MIN GHEYA-RIZ ZAMAANE WA TAWAA TORIL-AH-ZAANE WA TAWAA-RE-QIL HADA-SAANE WA MENIN QEZAAA-IL MUDDA-TE QABLAT TA-AH-HOBE WAL U’DDATE. - English: In the name of Allah, I do not ask for but His generosity, I do not fear but His justice, I do not count on but His words, I do not cling and hold to but His rope [love and friendship of Muhammad and Aal (children) of Muhammad]. Unto Thee I draw near, O Owner of amnesty and approval! (away) from oppression and hostility, from the ups and downs, and the chronic pains and sorrows, from the "course of events (life) coming to an end" before "provisions" (for the Hereafter) are put in order and readiness. - Urdu: خدا کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے۔ اس اللہ کے نا م سے جس کے فضل و کرم ہی کا امید وار ہو ں اور اس کے عد ل ہی سے ڈرتا ہوں اور اسی کے قو ل پر بھر و سہ رکھتا ہو ں اور اسی کی رسّی پکڑے ہوئے ہوں اور در گزر کرنے اور راضی ہو جانے والے (خداوندا!) میں ظلم و دشمنی سے، اور زمانے کے تغیرات سے اور پے در پے غموں سے اور پیش آنے والے حا دثو ں سے اورآخرت کے لئے خیر ونیکی کے ذخیرہ کی فراہمی سے قبل زند گی ختم ہو نے سے تیر ی پنا ہ چاہتا ہوں۔ - Arabic: وَاِیَّاکَ اَسْتَرْشِدُ لِمَا فِیْہِ الصَّلَاحُ وَالْاِصْلَاحُ وَبِکَ اَسْتَعِیْنُ فِیْمَا یَقْتَرِنُ بِہِ النَّجَاحُ وَالْاِنْجَاحُ وَاِیَّاکَ اَرْغَبُ فِیْ لِبَاسِ الْعَافِیَۃِ وَتَمَامِھَا وَشُمُوْلِ السَّلَامَۃِ وَدَوَامِھَا وَاَعُوْذُ بِکَ یَارَبِّ مِنْ ھَمَزَاتِ الشَّیٰطِیْنِ۔ - Transliteration: WA IYYAAKA AS-TAR-SHEDO LEMAA FEE-HIS SALAA-HO WAL-ISLAA-HO WA BEKA ASTA-EE’NO FEE-MAA YAQ-TARENO BE-HIN NAJAA-HO WAL-INJAA-HO WA IYYAA-KA AR-GHABO FEE LEBAA-SIL AA’FE-YATE WA TAMAA-MEHAA WA SHO-MOO-LIS SALAA-MATE WA DAWAA-MEHAA WA AOO’ZO BEKA YAA RABBE MIN HAMA-ZAA-TISH SHAYAA-TEENE. - English: Thee (alone) I ask for guidance unto that which is good, set right and put in order, Thee (alone) I ask for help while I make efforts to become better, and get what I want. Unto Thee (alone) I turn to for health and welfare, and its completion, together with peace and security, and its continuity. - Urdu: اور جس چیز میں بہتر ی و در ستی ہے اس میں تیری رہنمائی چا ہتا ہوں اور اس چیز میں تیری مدد چاہتا ہوں جس میں کامیابی و سہولت ہو اور میں تجھ سے مکمل صحت و تندرستی کی تمنا رکھتا ہوں کہ جس میں ہمیشہ کی سلامتی بھی شامل ہو۔ - Arabic: وَاَحْتَرِزُ بِسُلْطَانِکَ مِنْ جَوْرِ السَّلَاطِیْنِ فَتَقَبَّلْ مَاکَانَ مِنْ صَلَا تِیْ وَصَوْمِیْ وَاجْعَلْ غَدِیْ وَمَابَعْدَہٗ اَفْضَلَ مِنْ سَاعَتِیْ وَیَوْمِیْ وَاَعِزَّنِیْ فِیْ عَشِیْرَتِیْ وَقَوْمِیْ وَاحْفَظْنِیْ فِیْ یَقَظَتِیْ وَنَوْمِیْ فَاَنْتَ اللہُ خَیْرٌ حَافِظًا وَّاَنْتَ اَرْحَمُ الرّٰحِمِیْنَ۔ - Transliteration: WA AH-TAREZO BE-SULTAA-NEKA MIN JAU-RIS SALAA-TEENE FATA-QABBAL MAA KAANA MIN SALAA-TEE WA SAU-MEE WAJ-A’L GHADEE WA MAA BA’DAHU AFZALA MIN SAA-A’TEE WA YAUMEE WA A-I’ZZA NEE FEE A’SHEE-RATEE WA QAU-MEE WAH-FAZNEE FEE YAQA-ZATEE WA NAUMEE FA-ANTAL LAAHO KHAIROON HAAFA-ZAN WA ANTA AR-HAMUR RAAHE-MEEN. - English: I take refuge with Thee, O Lord, from "playing into the hands of" trick devils. and with the help of Thy authority and power keep clear of fascism and reign of terror. Accept my prayers and fasts I had, so far, given effect to, and let my tomorrow, and that which comes after it be better than the hours and the time I am in today, let my family, friends and community look up to me, and love me dearly, and keep me safe whether I am awake or asleep, (for) Thou art Allah, the Best Guardian, and Thou art the Most Merciful! - Urdu: خدایا!میں شیطانی وسوسوں سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں اور بادشاہوں کے ظلم کے مقابل تیری سلطنت کی پناہ حاصل کرتا ہوں پس میری نمازیں اور روزے جیسے بھی ہیں انہیں قبول فرما کل کا دن اور اس سے اگلے وقت کو میرے آج کے دن اور اس گھڑی سے بہتر بنا دے مجھے اپنے قبیلے اور قوم میں عزّت عطا فرما خواب و بیداری ہر حال میں میری حفاظت فرما۔ اے اللہ! تو بہترین نگہبان ہے اور سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَبْرَٓئُ اِلَیْکَ فِیْ یَوْمِیْ ھٰذَا وَمَابَعْدَہٗ مِنَ الْاٰحَادِ مِنَ الشِّرْکِ وَالْاِلْحَادِ وَاُخْلِصُ لَکَ دُعَآئِیْ تَعَرُّضًا لِّلْاِجَابَۃِ وَاُقِیْمُ عَلٰی طَاعَتِکَ رَجَآئً لِّلْاِثَابَۃِ فَصَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ خَیْرِ خَلْقِکَ الدَّاعِیْ اِلٰی حَقِّکَ وَاَعِزَّنِیْ بِعِزِّکَ الَّذِیْ لَایُضَامُ وَاحْفَظْنِیْ بِعَیْنِکَ الَّتِیْ لَاتَنَامُ وَاخْتِمْ بِاِلْاِنْقِطَاعِ اِلَیْکَ اَمْرِیْ وَبِالْمَغْفِرَۃِ عُمْرِیْ اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِیْمُ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA INNEE ABRAAA-O ILAIY-KA YAUMEE HAAZAA WA MAA BA’DAHU MENAL AA-HAADE MENASH SHIRKE WAL IL-HAADE WA UKHLE-SO LAKA DOAA’EE TA-A’RRO ZAL LIL-EJAA-BATE WA O’QEEMO A’LAA TAA-A’TE-KA RAJAAA-AN LIL-ESAA-BATE FA-SALLE A’LAA MOHAMMADIN KHAIRE KHALQE-KAD DAAEE’ ELAA HAQQE-KA WA A-I’ZZA NEE BE-IZZE-KAL LAZEE LAA YOZAA-MO WAH-FAZNEE BE-A’YNE-KAL LATEE LAA TANAA-MO WAKH-TIM BE-ILIN QETAA-E’ ILAIY-KA AMREE WA BIL-MAGH-FERA-TE OO’M-REE INNA-KA ANTAL GHAFOO-RUR RAHEEM. - English: O my Allah, today I stand before Thee free from the guilt of "giving an associate to Allah" or defection and desertion, and shall be in the same position day after day hence after, and act with faithfulness and sincerity towards Thee, and pray, hopeful of getting a favourable answer, stay obedient in Thy service, looking forward to obtain just rewards. Send blessing on Muhammad Thy best creation, (who) invited (mankind) unto Thy Religion (Islam), and keep me for Thy self in honour and glory in the name of Thy Majesty and Might, which neither decline nor lose power, and protect me through Thy "vision" (Divination) which rest not, nor is ever inattentive, bring to fullness and maturity every work I undertake by giving myself entirely upto Thy will and pleasure, and keep me alive (till death) under Thy amnesty, Verily Thou art Forgiving, Merciful. - Urdu: اے اللہ!میں تیرے حضور میں آج کے دن اور اس سے اگلے اتوار کے دنو ں میں شرک و بے دینی سے بَری ہوں اور خلوص کے ساتھ تجھ سے دعا کرتا ہوں کہ قبول ہو جائے اور میں ثواب کی امید پر تیری اطاعت پر قائم ہوں پس تو بہترین مخلو ق اور حق کے دا عی محمد مصطفیٰؐ پر رحمت نا ز ل فر ما اور اپنی عزّت کے صدقے مجھے وہ عزّت دے جس میں ظلم نہ ہو اپنی نہ سونے والی آنکھ سے میری نگہبانی فرما۔ میرا خا تمہ یوں ہو کہ تجھی سے امید لگا ئے رکھو ں اور میری زندگی کو بخشش پر تمام کر دے۔بے شک تو بخشنے والا مہربان ہے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN - English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny. - Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔ --- Published by Fatima Zahra Imamia Centre, North Ipswich QLD, https://fzic.org.
