- Instruction: Shaikh Sadooq (r) has narrated through his chain from Abd al-Azeez who said the following: “Once I asked Imam Ali Reza (a) about the Oneness of Allah. He replied, ‘One’s acknowledgement of the Oneness of Allah is considered true and meaningful if he, with belief, recites [Surah Ikhlaas](https://fzic.org/library/quran/112-ikhlaas-4-1185). I asked, ‘How should I recite it?’ The Imam (a) replied, ‘Recite it as the people do.’ Then the Imam (a) said, ‘After reciting the chapter say 3 times…
- Instruction (Urdu): شیخ صدوق روایت کرتے ہیں عبد العزیز سے، کہ انہوں نے کہا: ایک مرتبہ میں نے امام علی رضاؑ سے اللہ کی توحید کے بارے میں سوال کیا۔ امامؑ نے فرمایا: ایک مرتبہ اللہ کی یکتائی کی تصدیق کرنا صحیح ہو گا اگر وہ ایمان کے ساتھ [سورۂ اخلاص](https://fzic.org/library/quran/112-ikhlaas-4-1185) کی تلاوت کرے۔ میں نے پوچھا کہ میں کیسے اس سورہ کو پڑھوں؟ امامؑ نے فرمایا: ویسے پڑھوں جیسے لوگ پڑھتے ہیں۔ پھر امامؑ نے فرمایا: اس سورہ کو پڑھنے کے بعد ۳ مرتبہ کہو۔۔۔

- Arabic: كَذٰلِكَ اللہُ رَبِّیْ
- Transliteration: KAZAA-LEKAL LAAHO RABBI.
- English: Such is Allah, my Lord.
- Urdu: میرا رب ایسا ہی ہے۔

### Reward of Reciting Surah Ikhlaas in the Graveyard

- Instruction: Imam Reza (a) narrates on the authority of the Holy Prophet (s) that he (s) said: “Whoever recites [Surah Ikhlaas](https://fzic.org/library/quran/112-ikhlaas-4-1185) 11 times while passing by a graveyard for those believers buried therein, would earn reward equal the number of buried believers.”
- Instruction (Urdu): امام رضاؑ روایت کرتے ہیں رسول خداؐ سے کہ آن حضرتؐ فرماتے ہیں: جو کوئی [سورۂ اخلاص](https://fzic.org/library/quran/112-ikhlaas-4-1185) کی تلاوت ۱۱ مرتبہ کرے جب وہ اُس قبرستان سے گزرتا ہو جہاں پر مومنین دفن ہیں تو اُسے اُتنا ثواب ملےگا کہ جتنے مرحومین اُس قبرستان میں دفن ہیں۔
