# Surah Qadr

## Text

- Instruction: Imam Reza (a) said: “Whoever recites [Surah Qadr](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170) before going to sleep or after awakening, his reward and recompense fills the Lauh’e Mahfooz (Protected Tablet).” It is also narrated by Imam Reza (a) that he (a) said: “Whoever recites this Surah (Qadr) 100 times in one night (attentively) he will see paradise before morning.” Kafami (r) quotes that the reward of recital of Surah Qadr can’t be counted.
- Instruction (Urdu): امام رضاؑ فرماتے ہیں: جو کوئی سورہٴ قدر کی تلاوت سونے سے پہلے یا اُٹھنے کے بعد کرے تو اُس کے اجر و ثواب سے لوحِ محفوظ کو بھر دیا جائے گا۔ امام رضاؑ نے یہ بھی فرمایا، کہ جو کوئی اِس سورہ کو (خلوصِ دل سے) ایک رات میں ۱۰۰ مرتبہ پڑھے، تو صبح ہونے سے پہلے وہ جنت کو دیکھے گا۔ کفعمی لکھتے ہے کہ سورہٴ قدر کا ثواب شمار نہیں کیا جا سکتا ہے۔

### Effect of Surah Qadr for the Deliverance from the Horror of the Day of Resurrection

- Instruction: Rawandi narrates on the authority of Imam Reza (a) that he (a) said: “Whoever recites [Surah Qadr](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170) 7 times, keeping his (right) hand on the grave of his brother-in-faith he will remain safe from the horror of the day of Judgement.”
- Instruction (Urdu): راوندی روایت کرتے ہیں امام رضاؑ سے کہ امامؑ فرماتے ہیں: جو کوئی کسی مومن کی قبر پر اپنا دایاں ہاتھ رکھ کر ۷ مرتبہ [سورۂ قدر](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170) کی تلاوت کرے تو وہ روزِ قیامت کے خوف سے محفوظ رہے گا۔
