- Instruction: Allamah Majlisi (r) has mentioned this salutation and benediction in the chapter of Ziyarat of Maasoomin (a) during the days of a week. As this is related to Imam Reza (a) so it may be particularized to be recited on Wednesday…
- Instruction (Urdu): علامہ مجلسی نے اس زیارت کو ہفتوں کے دنوں کی زیارتِ معصومینؑ کے باب میں لکھا ہے۔ کیونکہ یہ امام رضاؑ سے منسوب ہے لہذا اس زیارت کو بدھ کے دن پڑھا جائے۔۔۔

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الرِّضَا الْمُرْتَضٰى سَـمِيِّ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ وَاِمَامِ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ خَلِيْفَةِ الرَّحْمٰنِ وَاِمَامِ اَهْلِ الْقُرْآنِ وَصَاحِبِ التَّاْوِيْلِ وَمَعْدِنِ الْفُرْقَانِ وَحَامِلِ التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْاِنْـجِيْلِ وَاِفْنَآءِ الْـخَبِيْثَاتِ وَالْاَبَاطِيْلِ وَالْقَائِلِ الْفَاعِلِ وَالْـحَاكِمِ الْعَادِلِ وَالصَّادِقِ الْبَرِّ وَالْـحَائِزِ الْفَخْرِ جَدُّهٗ سَيِّدُ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَاَبُوْهُ سَيِّدُ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ وَاِلَيْهِ مَآبُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ وَالْآخِرِيْنَ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَبَا الْـحَسَنِ عَلِيَّ بْنَ مُوسَى الرِّضَا وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُـحَمَّدٍ وَعَلٰى اٰلِ مُـحَمَّدٍ وَكَمَا اَكْرَمْتَهٗ بِـمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُوْلِكَ وَجَعَلْتَهٗ فِيْ الْـحَقِّ دَلِيْلَكَ فَدَعَا اِلٰى سَبِيْلِكَ بِالْـحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْـحَسَنَةِ فَاَكْمِلْ لَهُ الْعَهْدَ وَتَـمِّمْ لَهُ الْوَعْدَ وَاَيِّدْهُ وَذُرِّيَّتَهٗ وَاَوْلِيَآئَهٗ بِالنَّصْرِ وَالْـجُنْدِ لِيُخَلِّصَ الدِّيْنَ بِالْـجِدِّ فَيَعْمَلَ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ بِالْـجَهْدِ وَيُصَيِّرَ لَكَ الدِّيْنَ خَالِصًا وَالْـحَمْدَ تَامًّا اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ حَيًّا وَمَيِّتًا وَعَـجِّلْ فَرَجَنَا بِهٖ وَبِالْوَصِيِّ مِنْ بَعْدِهٖ وَانْصُرْهُ عَلٰى اَهْلِ طَاعَةِ الشَّيْطَانِ وَاَعْزِزْ بِهِ الْاِيْـمَانَ وَاَذْلِلْ بِهِ الشَّيْطَانَ۔‏
- Transliteration: ASSALAAMO A’LAR REZAL MURTAZAA SAMIYYE SAYYEDIL WASIYYEEN WA EMAAMIL MUTTAQEEN KHALEEFATIR RAHMAANE WA EMAAME AHLIL QUR-AANE WA SAAHEBIT TAAWEELE WA MA’DENIR FURQAAN WA HAAMELIT TAWRAATE WAL INJEELE WA IFNAAA-IL KHABEESAATE WAL ABAATEELE WAL QAA-ELIL FAA-E’LE WAL HAAKEMIL A’ADELE WAS SAADEQIL BARRE WAL HAA-EZIL FAKHRE JADDOHU SAYYEDUN NABIYYEENA WA ABOOHO SAYYEDUL WASIYYEENA WA ELAYHE MA-AAABUL AWWALEENA WAL AAKHEREENA ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA ABAL HASANE A’LIYY IBNE MOOSAR REZAA WA RAHMATUL LAAHE WA BARAKAATOH. ALLAAHUMMA SALLE A’LAA MOHAMMADIN WA A’LAA AALE MOHAMMADIN WA KAMAA AKRAMTAHU BEMOHAMMADIN RASOOLEKA WA JA-A’LTAHU FIL HAQQE DALEELAKA FA-DA-A’A ELAA SABEELEKA BIL-HIKMATE WAL MAW-E’ZATIL HASANATE FAAKMIL LAHUL A’HDA WA TAMMIM LAHUL WA’DA WA AYYIDHO WA ZURRIYYATAHU WA AWLEYAAA-OHU BINNASRE WAL JUNDE LEYOKHALLESAD DEENA BILJIDDE FA-YA’MALA FEE ZAALEKA BIL-JAHDE WA YOSAYYERA LAKAD DEENA KHAALESAN WAL HAMDA TAAM-MAN ALLAAHUMMA SALLE A’LAYHE HAYYAN WA MAYYETAN WA A’JJIL FARAJANAA BEHI WA BILWASIYYE MIN BA’DEHI WAN SURHO A’LAA AHLE TAA-A’TISH SHAYTAANE WA A-A’ZIZ BEHIL EEMAANA WA AZLIL BEHISH SHAYTAAN.
- English: Peace be upon al-Reza, the well-pleased, exalted chief of the Prophet’s successor, and leader of the pious ones, representative of the Beneficent, and leader of the people of the Holy Qur’an, the man of true interpretation, core of distinction (between the right and the wrong), the bearer of the Torah and the Gospel, destructor of the mischiefs and the vanities, instructor and doer (of action), the evenhanded judge, the truthfull good doer, the possessor of the honour, his grandfather is the chief of the messengers, and his father is the chief of the Prophet’s successor, and to him is the place of return for the first and the last. Peace be on you, O Abal Hasan Ali, son of Moosa al-Reza and mercy of Allah and his blessings. O Allah! Send blessings upon Muhammad and on the progeny of Muhammad, and like You have honoured him with Muhammad, Your Prophet and appointed him as Your truthful guide, then he called towards Your path with wisdom and fair exhortation, then complete for him the promise, then complete for him the covenant and finish for him the promise, and support him and his progeny and his friends with victory and army to purify the religion with devotion, then act in it with exertion so he renders for Your pure religion and complete praise. O Allah! Send blessings upon him when he is alive and when he dies, and expediate our relief by him and the vicegerent after him, and help him against the people of Satan, and through him honour the belief and degrade the Satan.
- Urdu: سلام ہو رضا پر جو اللہ کے پسندیدہ ہے جن کا لقب یہ ہے کہ وہ اوصیاء کے سردار ہیں، اور متقین کے امام، خدائے رحمٰن کے جانشین ہیں، اور اہل قرآن کے امام ہیں اور صاحب تاویل قرآن ہیں، سر چشمۂ فرقان ہیں اور جو صاحب توریت و انجیل ہیں اور باطل و حرام سے اجتناب کرنے والے ہیں، امر الہی کو انجام دینے والے ہے، عدل کے مطابق حکم دینے والے ہیں، سچے اور نیک کردار والے ہیں اور لائق فخر ہیں جن کے جد انبیاء کے سردار اور باپ اوصیاء کے سردار ہیں اور جن کی پناہ اولین و آخرین حاصل کریں، سلام ہو آپ پر اے ابو الحسن علی ابن موسی الرضاؑ اور اللہ کی رحمت و برکت نازل ہو۔ اے اللہ! محمدؐ و آل محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما اور جس طرح تو نے اپنے رسول محمد مصطفیؐ کے ذریعہ انہیں شرف عطا کیا اور راہ حق کی خاطر اپنی دلیل قرار دیا اسی طرح اس نے حکمت اور حسن اخلاق کے ذریعہ تیرے راستہ کی طرف دعوت دی ہے لہذا ان کے عہد کو مکمل اور ان کی اور ان کی آل و اولیاء کی نصرت و لشکر کے ذریعہ تائید فرما وہ تیرے دین کو محنت و کوشش سے خالص بنائے، نتیجہ میں مشقت کے ساتھ اس پر عمل کرے اور تیرے دین کو خالص بنائے اور تمام حمد کا ان پر نزول فرما، خدا یا! ان کی زندگی و حیات کے عالم میں ان پر رحمت نازل فرما اور ان کے اور ان کے بعد آنے والے وحی کے ذریعہ ہماری تکلیفوں کو دور فرما اور شیطان کے پیرو کاروں کے خلاف اس کی نصرت  فرما اور اس کے ذریعہ ایمان کو محکم و عزت والا قرار دے اور شیطان کو ذلیل و خوار فرما۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN
- English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
- Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
