# While Wearing New Dress

- Instruction: Yaaser, the servant, on the authority of Imam Hadi (a), on the authority of his father (a), on the authority of Imam Reza (a) that Imam Reza (a) used to put his clothes on from the right side. Whenever the Imam (a) wanted to put on a new clothing, he (a) asked for a bowl of water and recited the Qur’anic Chapters [Surah Qadr](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170), [Surah Ikhlaas](https://fzic.org/library/quran/112-ikhlaas-4-1185) and Surah Kaaferoon 10 times each over it, poured the water on the piece of clothing and said, Whoever does so before putting on a new clothing will have no difficulties in his life as long as the threads of it remain.
- Instruction (Urdu): غلام یاسر، امام ہادیؑ سے، اور اُنہوں نے اپنے پدرِ بزرگوار سے، اور اُنہوں نے امام رضاؑ سے، کہ امام رضاؑ دائیں طرف سے لباس پہنتے تھے۔ جب کبھی امامؑ کو نیا لباس پہننا ہوتا، تو وہ ایک پیالے میں پانی طلب کرتے اور قرآن کے سوروں میں سے [سورۂ قدر](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170)، [سورۂ اخلاص](https://fzic.org/library/quran/112-ikhlaas-4-1185) اور [سورۂ کافرون](https://fzic.org/library/quran/109-kaafiroon-6-1182) ہر ایک کی تلاوت ۱۰ مرتبہ کر کے اُس پانی پر دم کرتے، پھر اُس پانی کو لباس پر چھڑک کر فرماتے: جو بھی اس عمل کو انجام دےگا تو اُسے اپنی زندگی میں کبھی مشکل پیش نہیں آئے گی جب تک کہ اُس لباس کا دھاگہ باقی ہے۔
