# Ziyarat I.Reza (a)-2 **Urdu title:** زیارت امام رضا (ع)۔۲ **Section:** Dua -- Fatima Zahra Imamia Centre devotional library **Page:** https://fzic.org/library/dua/ziyarat-i-reza-a-2-2472 ## Text - Instruction: Say as you leave home for Ziyarat… - Instruction (Urdu): جب تم گھر سے نکلوں تو کہو۔۔۔ - Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ - Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM - English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful. - Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ اِلَيْكَ اَخْرُجُ وَاِلَيْكَ اَتَوَجَّهُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَبِكَ اسْتَعَنْتُ وَاِلٰى مَشَاهِدِ اَوْلِيَآئِكَ وَاَصْفِيَآئِكَ قَصَدْتُ وَاِلَيْكَ رَغِبْتُ فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاٰلِ مُحَمَّدِۨ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ وَبَلِّغْنِيْ اَمَلِيْ وَرَجَآئِيْ فِيْ زِيَارَتِيْ اِيَّاهُمْ وَقَصْدِيْ اِلَيْهِمْ فِيْ خَيْرٍ وَعَافِيَةٍ وَسِتْرٍ وَسَلَامَةٍ وَاَمْنٍ وَكِفَايَةٍ وَرُدَّنِيْ مَقْبُوْلًا مَبْرُوْرًا مَاْجُوْرًا مَوْفُوْرًا سَعِيْدًا غَانِمًا وَارْزُقْنِي الْعَوْدَ اَللّٰهُمَّ مَا اَبْقَيْتَنِيْ فَلَا تَجْعَلْهُ اٰخِرَ الْعَهْدِ لِزِيَارَةِ مَشَاهِدِهِمْ وَمَعَارِجِهِمْ اِنَّكَ اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔‏ - Transliteration: ALLAAHUMMA ELAYKA AKHROJO WA ELAYKA ATAWAJJAHO WA BEKA AAMANTO WA A’LAYKA TAWAKKALTO WA BEKAS TAA’NTO WA ELAA MASHAAHEDE AWLEYAAA-EKA WA AS-FEYAAA-EKA QASAD-TO WA ELAYKA RAGHIBTO FASALLE A’LAA MOHAMMADIN WA AALE MOHAMMADENIT TAAHEREENA WA BALLIGHNEE AMALEE WA RAJAAA-EE FEEZEYAARATEE IYYAAHUM WA QASDEE ELAYHIM FEE KHAYRIN WA A’AFEYATIN WA SITRIN WA SALAAMATIN WA AMNIN WA KEFAAYATIN WA RUDDANEE MAQBOOLAN MABROORAN MAAJOORAN MAWFOORAN SA-E’EDAN GHAANEMAN WAR ZUQNIL A’WDA ALLAAHUMMA MAA ABQAYTANEE FALAA TAJ-A’LHO AAKHERAL A’HDE LEZEYAARATE MASHAAAHEDEHIM WA MAA’AREJEHIM INNAKA ARHAMUR RAAHEMEEN. - English: O Allah! I leave towards You, and to You I turn my face, and I believe in You, and upon You I put my trust, and from You I pray for aid, and towards the shrines of Your vicegerents and Your chosen ones I have moved, and towards You I desire earnestly, then send blessings upon Muhammad and the pure progeny of Muhammad, and help me attain my hope, and make me attain my desire in my visitation to them, and my intention to them in goodness and welfare, and protection, and safety, and security, and adequacy, and return me with accepted (Ziyarat), approved, remunerated, abundant, happy, gaining, and bestow upon me the favor of returning to visit. O Allah! As long as You keep me alive then do not make this to be my last visit to their tombs and their aspirations, surely You are Most Merciful. - Urdu: اے اللہ! میں تیری ہی طرف نکلتا ہوں، اور تیری ہی طرف رخ کرتا ہوں۔ میں تجھ پر ایمان لایا ہوں، اور تجھی پر بھروسہ کیا ہے، اور تجھ ہی سے مدد مانگی ہے۔ میں نے تیرے اولیاء اور برگزیدہ بندوں کے مزارات (مقامات) کی زیارت کا قصد کیا ہے، اور تیری ہی طرف رغبت رکھتا/رکھتی ہوں۔ پس محمدؐ اور آلِ محمدؑ طاہرین پر درود بھیج، اور میری اس زیارت اور ان کی طرف جانے کی نیت میں میری امید اور آرزو پوری فرما خیر کے ساتھ، عافیت کے ساتھ، پردہ پوشی کے ساتھ، سلامتی کے ساتھ، امن کے ساتھ، اور کافی ہونے (یعنی ہر ضرورت پوری ہونے) کے ساتھ۔ اور مجھے اس حال میں واپس لوٹا کہ میری زیارت قبول ہو، میری کوشش مقبول ہو، مجھے اجر ملے، خیر و ثواب بھرپور ملے، میں خوش نصیب ہوں اور فائدہ پانے والا ہوں۔ اور مجھے دوبارہ آنے کی توفیق دے۔ اے اللہ! جب تک تو مجھے زندہ رکھے، اسے اُن کے مشاہد (زیارتی مقامات) اور اُن کے بلند مقامات کی زیارت کا آخری عہد نہ بنا۔ بے شک تو سب سے بڑھ کر رحم کرنے والا ہے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN - English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny. - Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔ - Instruction: It is obligatory to take the ceremonial bath on reaching the city then in the way one should invoke Almighty Allah as much as possible saying… - Instruction (Urdu): جب مشہد سے امام رضاؑ کی زیارت کے لئے نکلوں تو غسل کرو اور راستے میں اللہ تعالی کو زیادہ سے زیادہ ان ذکروں سے یاد کرو۔۔۔ - Arabic: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ۔ - Transliteration: SUBHAANALLAAH. - English: Glory be to Allah. - Urdu: خدا پاک ومنزہ ہے۔ - Arabic: اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ۔ - Transliteration: AL-HAMDO LIL-LAAHE. - English: Praise be to Allah. - Urdu: حمد ہے خدا کے لیے۔ - Arabic: اَللهُ اَكبَرُ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAAHO AKBARO. - English: Allah is the Greatest. - Urdu: اللہ بزرگ تر ہے۔ - Arabic: لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ۔ - Transliteration: LAA ELAAHA ILLALLAAH. - English: There is no god save Allah. - Urdu: خدا کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ - Instruction: It is better to recite the following… - Instruction (Urdu): بہتر ہے کہ یہ بھی پڑھے۔۔۔ - Arabic: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ وَلَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ اَكْبَرُ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللہِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْمِ وَصَلَّي اللهُ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدِ النَّبِيِّ وَعَلٰی اٰلِہِ الطَّیِّبِیْنَ الطَّاہِرِیْنَ وَسَلَّمَ تَسْلِیْمًا۔ - Transliteration: SUBHAA-NAL LAAHE WAL HAMDO LIL LAAHE WA LAA ILAAHA ILLAL LAAHO WAL LAAHO AKBARO LAA HAWLA WA LAA QUWWATA ILLAA BIL LAAHIL A’LIYYIL A’ZEEME. WA SALLAL LAAHO A’LAA MOHAMMADIN NABIYYE WA ALAA AALE-HIT TAIYYE-BEE-NAT TAAHE-REENA WA SALLAMAH TASLEE-MA. - English: All glory be to Allah, all praise be to Allah, there is no god save Allah, Allah is the Greatest, there is neither might nor power save with Allah, the All-High the All-Great, and blessing of Allah be upon Muhammad, the Prophet, and his pure and immaculate progeny and send upon them benedictions. - Urdu: اﷲپاک ہے اور اسی کے لیے حمد ہے اور اﷲ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور اﷲبرتر ہے نہیں کوئی طاقت و قوت مگر وہ جو اﷲ بزرگ وبرتر سے ملتی ہے۔ اورخدا کی رحمت ہو نبی محمدؐ اور اُن کی پاک و پاکیزا آلؑ پر بہت زیادہ سلام و تحیات ہو۔ - Instruction: On reaching near the holy shrine of Imam Reza (a) recite the following Ziyarat… - Instruction (Urdu): جب امام رضاؑ کی قبر مبارک کے قریب پہنچے تو یہ زیارت پڑھے۔۔۔ - Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ - Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM - English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful. - Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔ - Arabic: اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْعَلَمُ الْهَادِيْ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْوَصِيُّ الزَّكِيُّ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْاِمَامُ الْبَرُّ التَّقِيُّ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْعَلَمُ الْمُطَهَّرُ مِنَ الذُّنُوْبِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وِعَآءَ حُكْمِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عَيْبَةَ سِرِّ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْحَافِظُ لِوَحْيِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْمُسْتَوْفِيْ فِيْ طَاعَةِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْمُتَرْجِمُ لِكِتَابِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الدَّاعِيْ اِلٰى تَوْحِيْدِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْمُعَبِّرُ لِمُرَادِ اللهِ۔ - Transliteration: ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOHAL A’LAMUL HAADEE. ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOHAL WASIYYUZ ZAKIYY. ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOHAL EMAAMUL BARRUT TAQIYY. ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOHAL A’LAMUL MOTAHHARO MENAZ ZONOOB. ASSALAAMO A’ALAYKA YAA WE-A’AA-A HUKMIL LAAH. ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA A’YBATA SIRRIL LAAH. ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOHAL HAAFEZO LE-WAHYIL LAAH. ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOHAL MUSTAWFEE FEE TAA-A’TIL LAAH. ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOAHAL MOTARJEMO LE-KETAABIL LAAH. ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOHAD DAA-E’E ELAA TAWHEEDIL LAAH. ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOHAL MO-A’BBERO LE-MORAADIL LAAH. - English: Peace be on you, O guiding epitome. Peace be on you, O pure successor (of the Prophet). Peace be on you, O dutiful and pious leader. Peace be on you, O purified from sins. Peace be on you, O containers of judgement of Allah. Peace be on you, O the store of secret of Allah. Peace be on you, O the protector of the revelation of Allah. Peace be on you, O the complete in the obedience of Allah. Peace be on you, O the interpreter of the Book of Allah. Peace be on you, O the caller to the Oneness of Allah. Peace be on you, O the conveyer of the intention of Allah. - Urdu: سلام ہو آپ پر اے پرچم ہدایت اور ہادی، سلام ہو آپ پر اے وصی و پاک و پاکیزہ، سلام ہو آپ پر اے نیک و با تقوی رہبر، سلام ہو آپ پر اے ہدایت کی گناہوں سے پاک نشانی، سلام ہو آپ پر اے حکم الٰہی کے ظرف، سلام ہو آپ پر اے مخزن اسرار خدا، سلام ہو آپ پر اے حافظ وحی خدا، سلام ہو آپ پر اے اللہ کی طرف سے واجب اطاعت ، سلام ہو آپ پر اے کتاب خدا کو واضح کرنے والے، سلام ہو آپ پر اے داعی توحید خدا، سلام ہو آپ پر اے منسر مراد خدا۔ - Arabic: اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْمُحَلِّلُ لِحَلَالِ اللهِ وَالْمُحَرِّمُ لِحَرَامِ اللهِ وَالدَّاعِيْ اِلٰى دِيْنِ اللهِ وَالْمُعْلِنُ لِاَحْكَامِ اللهِ وَالْفَاحِصُ عَنْ مَعْرِفَةِ اللهِ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَبَا الْحَسَنِ۔ اَشْهَدُ يَا مَوْلَايَ اَنَّكَ حُجَّةُ اللهِ وَاَمِيْنُهٗ وَصَفْوَةُ اللهِ وَحَبِيْبُهٗ وَخِيَرَةُ اللهِ مِنْ خَلْقِهٖ وَحُجَّتُهٗ عَلٰى عِبَادِهٖ۔ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّهٗ مَنْ وَالَاكَ فَقَدْ وَالَى اللهَ وَمَنْ عَادَاكَ فَقَدْ عَادَى اللهَ وَمَنِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِكَ وَبِالْاَئِمَّةِ مِنْ آبَائِكَ وَوُلْدِكَ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقٰى۔‏ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكُمْ كَلِمَةُ التَّقْوٰى وَاَعْلَامُ الْهُدٰى وَنُوْرٌ لِسَائِرِ الْوَرٰی۔ - Transliteration: ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA AYYOHAL MOHALLELO LE-HALAALIL LAAH WAL MOHARREMO LE-HARAAMIL LAAH WAD DAA-E’E ELAA DEENIL LAAH WAL MO’LENO LEAHKAAMIL LAAH WAL FAAHESO A’N MA’REFATIL LAAH ASSALAAMO A’LAYKA YAA ABAL HASAN ASH-HADO YAA MAWLAAYA ANNAKA HUJJATUL LAAHE WA AMEENOHU WA SAFWATUL LAAHE WA HABEEBOHU WA KHEYARATUL LAAHE MIN KHALQEHI WA HUJJATOHU A’LAA E’BAADEHI ASH-HADO ANNAHU MAN WAALAAKA FAQAD WAALAL LAAH WA MAN A’ADAAKA FAQAD A’ADAL LAAH WA MANIS TAMSAKA BEKA WA BILAIMMATE MIN AAABAA-EKA WA WULDEKA FAQADIS TAMSAKA BIL-U’RWATIL WUSQAA WA ASH-HADO ANNAKUM KALEMATUT TAQWAA WA A-A’LAAMUL HODAA WA NOORUN LE-SAAERIL WARAA. - English: Peace be on you, O the analyser of the lawful of Allah and the prohibitor of the unlawful of Allah, and the caller towards the religion of Allah, and the proclaimer of the laws of Allah, and the examiner of the recognition of Allah. Peace be on you O Abal Hasan! I testify, O my master! That surely You are the vicegerent of Allah, and His trustee, and choisest of Allah, and His beloved, and elite of Allah from His creation, and His argument upon His servants. I testify that surely whoever declares loyalty to you has in fact declared loyalty to Allah, and whoever shows enmity towards you has in fact shown enmity towards Allah, and whoever adhered to you and to the imams from your forefathers, and your son then surely he has grasped to the firmest hand, and epitomes of guidance, and light for all the creatures. - Urdu: سلام ہو آپ پر اے حلال خدا کو حلال اور حرام خدا کو حرام جاننے والے، اور دین خدا کی طرف دعوت دینے والے اور احکام خدا کو بیان کرنے والے اور معرفت خدا میں غور و فکر کرنے والے، سلام ہو آپ پر اے ابو الحسن، اے میرے مولا میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ حجت خدا اور اس کے امین ہیں، اور اللہ کے منتخب کردہ اور حبیب ہیں اور تمام مخلوقات میں سے چنے ہوئے اور تمام بندوں پر اللہ کی حجت ہیں، میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ دوست خدا کے دوست اور آپ کا دشمن خدا کا دشمن ہے اور جو آپ سے اور آپ کے آباء میں جو ائمہ ہیں اور اولاد میں جو ائمہ ہیں ان سے متمسک ہو وہ اللہ کی مضبوط رسی سے متمسک ہوا، اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ حضرات تقوی کے کلمۂ ہدایت کے پرچم اور تمام مخلوقات کے لیے نور ہے۔ - Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔ - Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN - English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny. - Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔ - Instruction: Then after kissing the holy grave recite… - Instruction (Urdu): پھر قبر مبارک کو بوسہ دے اور کہے۔۔۔ - Arabic: بِاَبِيْ اَنْتَ وَاُمِّيْ اَيُّهَا الصِّدِّيْقُ الشَّهِيْدُ بِاَبِيْ اَنْتَ وَاُمِّيْ يَا ابْنَ اَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَسَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّيْنَ وَاِمَامِ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَحُجَّةِ اللهِ عَلَى الْخَلْقِ اَجْمَعِيْنَ۔ - Transliteration: BE-ABEE ANTA WA UMMEE AYYOHAS SIDDEEQUSH SHAHEEDO BE-ABEE ANTA WA UMMEE YABNA AMEERIL MOAMENEENA WA SAYYEDUL WASIYYEENA WA EMAAMIL MUSLEMEENA WA HUJJATIL LAAHE A’LAL KHALQE AJMAE’ENA. - English: I swear by my father and mother O truthful martyr, I swear by my father and mother O son of the Commander of the Faithful, the chief of the successors, the leader of the Muslims, and the proof of Allah upon all the creatures. - Urdu: اے راست گو شہید، میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان، میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان اے امیر مومنانء اوصیاء کے سردار، مسلمانوں کے امام اور تمام خلائق پر اللہ کی حجت کے فرزند۔ - Instruction: Then perform 2 rakats of Namaz near the grave and while bidding farewell recite the following… - Instruction (Urdu): پھر ۲ رکعت نماز پڑھے اور امامؑ سے رخصت ہوتے وقت اس طرح سے کہے۔۔۔ - Arabic: يَا مَوْلَايَ يَا اَبَا الْحَسَنِ يَا مَوْلَايَ اَيُّهَا الرِّضَا اَتَيْتُكَ زَآئِرًا وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ خَيْرُ مَزُوْرٍ بَعْدَ آبَآئِكَ وَاَفْضَلُ مَقْصُوْدٍ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مَنْ زَارَكَ فَقَدْ وَصَلَ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ وَاَبْهَجَ فَاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةَ نِسَآءِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ وَنَالَ مِنَ اللهِ الْفَوْزَ الْعَظِيْمَ فَلَا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ اٰخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْ زِيَارَتِكَ وَاِتْيَانِ مَشْهَدِكَ وَرَزَقَنِيَ الْعَوْدَ ثُمَّ الْعَوْدَ اِلَيْكَ آمِيْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ - Transliteration: YAA MAWLAAYA YAA ABAL HASANE YAA MAWLAAYA AYYOHAR REZAA ATAYTOKA ZAAA-ERAN WA ASH-HADO ANNAKA KHAYRO MAZOORIN BA’DA AABAAA-EKA WA AFZALO MAQSOODIN WA ASHHADO ANNA MAN ZAARAKA FAQAD WASALA RASOOLAL LAAHE WA ABHAJA FAATEMATA SAYYEDATA NESAAA-IL A’ALAMEENA WA NAALA MENAL LAAHIL FAWZAL A’ZEEMA FALAA JA-A’LAHUL LAAHO AAKHERAL A’HDE MIN ZEYAARATEKA WA ITYAANE MASH-HADEKA WA RAZAQANEYAL A’WDA SUMMAL A’WDA ELAYKA AAMEENA RABBAL A’ALAMEENA. - English: O my master! O Abul Hasan! O my master! O devoted one, I have come to visit you, and I testify that surely visiting you is good after your forefathers, and the most excellent besought one, and I testify that one who visits you has indeed respected the Messenger of Allah, and rejoiced Fatema, the leader of the women of the worlds, and achieved the great victory from Allah, then may Allah not make this my last visit to you, and coming to your shrine, and grant me more and more chances to re-visit you, respond, O Lord of the worlds! - Urdu: اے میرے مولا ابو الحسن، اے میرے مولا اے رضا میں آپ کا زائر بن کر آیا ہوں اور آپ اپنے اباء کے بعد بہترین ذات ہیں جن کی زیارت کی جائے، اور سب سے بلند مقصود ہیں، اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ کی زیارت کرنا رسول خداؐ سے مل جانا ہے، اور شہزادی فاطمہؑ کو خوش کرنا ہے، جو کہ عالمین کی خواتین کی سردار ہیں، اور اللہ کی طرف سے فوز عظیم تک پہنچ جاتا ہے، اس لمحہ کو اللہ زیارت و حاضری کا آخری وقت قرار نہ دے اور بار بار آنے کی سعادت عطا کرے، آمین رب العالمین۔ --- Published by Fatima Zahra Imamia Centre, North Ipswich QLD, https://fzic.org.
