# On Chehloom (40th Day)

## Text

- Arabic: سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلہِ وَلَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ وَاللہُ اَكْبَرُ۔
- Transliteration: SUBHAANALLAHE WAL HAMDO LILLAAHE WA-LA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHO WALLAAHO AKBAR.
- English: All glory be to Allah; all praise be to Allah; there is no god save Allah; Allah is the Greatest.
- Urdu: پاک ہے اﷲاور حمد اﷲہی کے لئے ہے اور اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبودنہیں اور اﷲبزرگ تر ہے۔

- Arabic: اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
- Transliteration: ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN
- English: Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
- Urdu: اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔

- Arabic: اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللہَ رَبِّیْ وَ اَتُوْبُ اِلَیْہِ۔
- Transliteration: ASTAGHFERULLAH RABBI WA ATOOBO ILAIHE.
- English: I seek the forgiveness of Allah, my Lord, and I repent before Him.
- Urdu: معافی چاہتا ہوں اللہ سے جو میرا رب ہے اور اسکے حضور توبہ کرتا ہو۔

- Arabic: اَمَّنْ يُّجِيْبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ اِذَا دَعَاهٗ وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوْۗءَ۔
- Transliteration: AMMANY-YUJEEBUL MUD TARRA IZAA DA’AAHU WA YAKSHIFUS SOOO’A.
- English: Or, Who answers the distressed one when he calls upon Him and removes the evil.
- Urdu: بھلا وہ کون ہے؟ جو مجبور کی فریاد کو سنتا ہے جب وہ اس کو آواز دیتا ہے۔

- Arabic: لَّآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّآ اَنْتَ سُبْحٰنَكَ اِنِّيْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ۔
- Transliteration: LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA SUBHAANAKA INNI KUNTO MINAZ ZAALIMEEN.
- English: There is no god but Thou, glory be to Thee; surely I am of those who make themselves to suffer loss.
- Urdu: پروردگار! تیرے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے تو پاک و بے نیاز ہے اور میں اپنے نفس پر ظلم کرنے والوں میں سے تھا۔

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ بِحَقِّ بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ۔
- Transliteration: BISMILLA-HIR RAHMA-NIR RAHEEM BE-HAQQE BISMILLA-HIR RAHMA-NIR RAHEEM.
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful, for the sake of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے، بواسطہ اللہ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: يَا اَللهُ يَا مُحَمَّدُ يَا عَلِيُّ يَا فَاطِمَةُ يَا حَسَنُ يَا حُسَيْنُ، يَا صَاحِبَ الزَّمَانِ، اَدْرِكْنِيْ يَا صَاحِبَ الزَّمَانِ، اَدْرِكْنِيْ وَلَا تُهْلِكْنِيْ۔
- Transliteration: YAA ALLAAHO YAA MOHAMMADO YAA ALIYYO YAA FAATEMATO YAA HASANO YAA HUSAINO YAA SAAHEBAZ-ZAMAANE ADRIK-NEE YAA SAAHEBAZ ZAMAANE ADRIK-NEE WALAA TOHLIK-NEE.
- English: O Allah, O Muhammad, O Ali, O Fatimah, O Hasan, O Hussain, O the leader of the time, take me over, O the leader of the time take me over and don’t destroy me.
- Urdu: اے اللہ! اے محمدؐ، اے علیؑ، اے فاطمہؑ، اے حسنؑ، اے حسینؑ، اے  امام زمانہ (عج) مجھ تک پہنچے اور مجھے ہلاکت سے بچائے۔

- Arabic: سَلٰمٌ قَوْلًا مِّن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيْمٍ
- Transliteration: SALAAMUN QAWLAM MIR RABBIR RAHEEM.
- English: Peace: a word from a Merciful Lord.
- Urdu: (ان پر) مہربان خداکی طرف سے سلام آئے گا

- Arabic: بِحَقِّ ك ه ی ع ص، بِحَقِّ ه م ع س ق۔
- Transliteration: BE-HAQQE KAAF HAA YAA AIN SAAD, BE-HAQQE HAA MIM AIN SEEN QAAF.
- English: For the sake of KAAF HAA YAA AIN SAAD, For the sake of HAA MIM AIN SEEN QAAF.
- Urdu: بواسطہ ک ہ ی ع ص، بواسطہ ہ م ع س ق۔
