### Celestial Stations (Makki)

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: وَالسَّمَاۗءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوْجِ
- Transliteration: WASSAMAAA’I ZAATIL BUROOJ.
- English: I swear by the mansions of the stars
- Urdu: برجوں والے آسمان کی قسم۔

- Arabic: وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُوْدِ
- Transliteration: WAL YAWMIL MAW’OOD.
- English: And the promised day
- Urdu: اور اس دن کی قسم جس کا وعدہ دیا گیا ہے۔

- Arabic: وَشَاهِدٍ وَّمَشْهُوْدٍ
- Transliteration: WA SHAAHIDINW WA MASHHOOD.
- English: And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne.
- Urdu: اور گواہ اور جس کی گواہی دی جائے گی اس کی قسم۔

- Arabic: قُتِلَ اَصْحٰبُ الْاُخْدُوْدِ
- Transliteration: QUTILA AS HAABUL UKHDOOD.
- English: Cursed be the makers of the pit
- Urdu: اصحابِ اُخدود ( جہنّم کی خندقوں والے) ہلاک کر دیئے گئے۔

- Arabic: اَلنَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُوْدِ
- Transliteration: ANNAARI ZAATIL WAQOOD.
- English: Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel
- Urdu: آگ سے بھری ہوئی خندقوں والے۔

- Arabic: اِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُوْدٌ
- Transliteration: IZ HUM ’ALAIHAA QU’OOD.
- English: When they sat by it
- Urdu: جن میں آگ بھرے بیٹھے ہوئے تھے۔

- Arabic: وَهُمْ عَلٰى مَا يَفْعَلُوْنَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ شُهُوْدٌ
- Transliteration: WA HUM ’ALAA MAA YAF’ALOONA BILMU ’MINEENA SHUHOOD.
- English: And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers.
- Urdu: اور وہ مومنین کے ساتھ جو سلوک کر رہے تھے خود ہی اس کے گواہ بھی ہیں۔

- Arabic: وَمَا نَقَمُوْا مِنْهُمْ اِلَّآ اَنْ يُّؤْمِنُوْا بِاللهِ الْعَزِيْزِ الْحَمِيْدِ
- Transliteration: WA MAA NAQAMOO MINHUM ILLAAA AIYU’MINOO BILLAAHIL ’AZEEZIL HAMEED.
- English: And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised
- Urdu: اور انہوں نے ان سے صرف اس بات کا بدلہ لیا ہے کہ وہ خدائے عزیز و حمید پر ایمان لائے تھے۔

- Arabic: اَلَّذِيْ لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَاللهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيْدٌ
- Transliteration: ALLAZEE LAHOO MULKUS SAMAAWAATI WAL ARD; WALLAAHU ’ALAA KULLI SHAI ’IN SHAHEED.
- English: Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things.
- Urdu: وہ خدا جس کے اختیار میں آسمان و زمین کا سارا ملک ہے اور وہ ہر شے کا گواہ اور نگراں بھی ہے۔

- Arabic: اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوْبُوْا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِيْقِ
- Transliteration: INNAL LAZEENA FATANUL MU’MINEENA WAL MU’MINAATI SUMMA LAM YATOOBOO FALAHUM ’AZAABU JAHANNAMA WA LAHUM ’AZAABUL HAREEQ.
- English: Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning.
- Urdu: بے شک جن لوگوں نے ایماندار مردوں اور عورتوں کو ستایا اور پھر توبہ نہ کی ان کے لئے جہنّم کا عذاب ہے اور ان کے لئے جلنے کا عذاب بھی ہے۔

- Arabic: اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنّٰتٌ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ ذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْكَبِيْرُ
- Transliteration: INNAL LAZEENA AAMANOO WA ’AMILUS SAALIHAATI LAHUM JANNAATUN TAJREE MIN TAHTIHAL ANHAAR; ZAALIKAL FAWZUL KABEER.
- English: Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement.
- Urdu: بے شک جو لوگ ایمان لے آئے اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال کئے ان کے لئے وہ جنّتیں ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی اور یہ بہت بڑی کامیابی ہے۔

- Arabic: اِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيْدٌ
- Transliteration: INNA BATSHA RABBIKA LASHADEED.
- English: Surely the might of your Lord is great.
- Urdu: بے شک آپ کے پروردگار کی پکڑ بہت سخت ہوتی ہے۔

- Arabic: اِنَّهٗ هُوَ يُبْدِیُٔ وَيُعِيْدُ
- Transliteration: INNAHOO HUWA YUBDI’U WA YU’EED.
- English: Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces
- Urdu: وہی پیدا کرنے والا اور دوبارہ ایجاد کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: وَهُوَ الْغَفُوْرُ الْوَدُوْدُ
- Transliteration: WA HUWAL GHAFOORUL WADOOD.
- English: And He is the Forgiving, the Loving
- Urdu: وہی بہت بخشنے والا اور محبت کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: ذُو الْعَرْشِ الْمَجِيْدُ
- Transliteration: ZUL ’ARSHIL MAJEED.
- English: Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious
- Urdu: وہ صاحب عرشِ مجید ہے۔

- Arabic: فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيْدُ
- Transliteration: FA’ ’AALUL LIMAA YUREED.
- English: The great doer of what He will.
- Urdu: جو چاہتا ہے کر سکتا ہے۔

- Arabic: هَلْ اَتٰكَ حَدِيْثُ الْجُنُوْدِ
- Transliteration: HAL ATAAKA HADEESUL JUNOOD.
- English: Has not there come to you the story of the hosts
- Urdu: کیا تمہارے پاس لشکروں کی خبر آئی ہے۔

- Arabic: فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُوْدَ
- Transliteration: FIR’AWNA WA SAMOOD.
- English: Of Firon and Samood?
- Urdu: فرعون اور قومِ ثمود کی خبر۔

- Arabic: بَلِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فِيْ تَكْذِيْبٍ
- Transliteration: BALIL LAZEENA KAFAROO FEE TAKZEEB.
- English: Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth.
- Urdu: مگر کفّار تو صرف جھٹلانے میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں۔

- Arabic: وَاللهُ مِنْ وَّرَاۗئِهِم مُّحِيْطٌ
- Transliteration: WALLAAHU MINW WARAAA’IHIM MUHEET.
- English: And Allah encompasses them on every side.
- Urdu: اور اللہ ان کو پیچھے سے گھیرے ہوئے ہے۔

- Arabic: بَلْ هُوَ قُرْاٰنٌ مَّجِيْدٌ
- Transliteration: BAL HUWA QURAANUM MAJEED.
- English: Nay! it is a glorious Quran
- Urdu: یقینًا یہ بزرگ و برتر قرآن ہے۔

- Arabic: فِيْ لَوْحٍ مَّحْفُوْظٍ
- Transliteration: FEE LAWHIM MAHFOOZ.
- English: In a guarded tablet.
- Urdu: جو لوحِ محفوظ میں محفوظ کیا گیا ہے۔

- Transliteration: SADAQALLAHUL ALIYYUL AZEEM
- English: Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.
- Urdu: اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
