### Nightly Visitant (Makki)

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: وَالسَّمَاۗءِ وَالطَّارِقِ
- Transliteration: WASSAMAAA’I WATTAARIQ.
- English: I swear by the heaven and the comer by night;
- Urdu: آسمان اور رات کو آنے والے کی قسم۔

- Arabic: وَمَآ اَدْرٰكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ
- Transliteration: WA MAAA ADRAAKA MATTAARIQ.
- English: And what will make you know what the comer by night is?
- Urdu: اور تم کیا جانو کہ طارق کیا ہے۔

- Arabic: اَلنَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ
- Transliteration: ANNAJMUS SAAQIB.
- English: The star of piercing brightness;
- Urdu: یہ ایک چمکتا ہوا ستارہ ہے۔

- Arabic: اِنْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ
- Transliteration: IN KULLU NAFSIL LAMMAA ’ALAIHAA HAAFIZ.
- English: There is not a soul but over it is a keeper.
- Urdu: کوئی نفس ایسا نہیں ہے جس کے اوپر نگراں نہ معین کیا گیا ہو۔

- Arabic: فَلْيَنْظُرِ الْاِنْسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
- Transliteration: FAL YANZURIL INSAANU MIMMA KHULIQ.
- English: So let man consider of what he is created:
- Urdu: پھر انسان دیکھے کہ اسے کس چیز سے پیدا کیا گیا ہے۔

- Arabic: خُلِقَ مِن مَّاۗءٍ دَافِقٍ
- Transliteration: KHULIQA MIM MAAA’IN DAAFIQ.
- English: He is created of water pouring forth
- Urdu: وہ ایک اُچھلتے ہوئے پانی سے پیدا کیا گیا ہے۔

- Arabic: يَخْرُجُ مِنْۢ بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَاۗئِبِ
- Transliteration: YAKHRUJU MIM BAINISSULBI WAT TARAAA’IB.
- English: Coming from between the back and the ribs.
- Urdu: جو پیٹھ اور سینہ کی ہڈیوں کے درمیان سے نکلتا ہے۔

- Arabic: اِنَّهٗ عَلٰى رَجْعِهٖ لَقَادِرٌ
- Transliteration: INNAHOO ’ALAA RAJ’IHEE LAQAADIR.
- English: Most surely He is able to return him (to life).
- Urdu: یقینًا وہ خدا انسان کے دوبارہ پیدا کرنے پر بھی قادر ہے۔

- Arabic: يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَاۗئِرُ
- Transliteration: YAWMA TUBLAS SARAAA’IR.
- English: On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest
- Urdu: جس دن رازوں کو آزمایا جائے گا۔

- Arabic: فَمَا لَهٗ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَّلَا نَاصِرٍ
- Transliteration: FAMAA LAHOO MIN QUWWATINW WA LAA NAASIR.
- English: He shall have neither strength nor helper.
- Urdu: تو پھر نہ کسی کے پاس قوت ہو گی اور نہ مدد گار۔

- Arabic: وَالسَّمَاۗءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِ
- Transliteration: WASSAMAAA’I ZAATIR RAJ’.
- English: I swear by the rain-giving heavens
- Urdu: قسم ہے چکر کھانے والے آسمان کی۔

- Arabic: وَالْاَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ
- Transliteration: WAL ARDI ZAATIS SAD’.
- English: And the earth splitting (with plants);
- Urdu: اور شگافتہ ہونے والی زمین کی۔

- Arabic: اِنَّهٗ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ
- Transliteration: INNAHOO LAQAWLUN FASL.
- English: Most surely it is a decisive word
- Urdu: بے شک یہ قول فیصل ہے۔

- Arabic: وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ
- Transliteration: WA MAA HUWA BIL HAZL.
- English: And it is no joke.
- Urdu: اور مذاق نہیں ہے۔

- Arabic: اِنَّهُمْ يَكِيْدُوْنَ كَيْدًا
- Transliteration: INNAHUM YAKEEDOONA KAIDAA.
- English: Surely they will make a scheme
- Urdu: یہ لوگ اپنا مکر کر رہے ہیں۔

- Arabic: وَاَكِيْدُ كَيْدًا
- Transliteration: WA AKEEDU KAIDAA.
- English: And I (too) will make a scheme.
- Urdu: اور ہم اپنی تدبیر کر رہے ہیں۔

- Arabic: فَمَهِّلِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ اَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا
- Transliteration: FAMAHHILIL KAAFIREENA AMHILHUM RUWAIDAA.
- English: So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while.
- Urdu: تو کافروں کو چھوڑ دو اور انہیں تھوڑی سی مہلت دے دو۔

- Transliteration: SADAQALLAHUL ALIYYUL AZEEM
- English: Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.
- Urdu: اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
