### Most High (Makki)

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْاٰعْلَى
- Transliteration: SABBIHISMA RABBIKAL A’LAA.
- English: Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High
- Urdu: اپنے بلند ترین رب کے نام کی تسبیح کرو۔

- Arabic: اَلَّذِيْ خَلَقَ فَسَوّٰى
- Transliteration: ALLAZEE KHALAQA FASAWWAA.
- English: Who creates, then makes complete
- Urdu: جس نے پیدا کیا ہے اور درست بنایا ہے۔

- Arabic: وَالَّذِيْ قَدَّرَ فَهَدٰى
- Transliteration: WALLAZEE QADDARA FAHADAA.
- English: And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal)
- Urdu: جس نے تقدیر معین کی ہے اور پھر ہدایت دی ہے۔

- Arabic: وَالَّذِيْٓ اَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعٰى
- Transliteration: WALLAZEEE AKHRAJAL MAR’AA.
- English: And Who brings forth herbage
- Urdu: جس نے چارہ بنایا ہے۔

- Arabic: فَجَعَلَهٗ غُثَاۗءً اَحْوٰى
- Transliteration: FAJA’ALAHOO GHUSAAA’AN AHWAA.
- English: Then makes it dried up, dust-colored.
- Urdu: پھر اسے خشک کر کے سیاہ رنگ کا کورا بنا دیا ہے۔

- Arabic: سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنْسٰٓى
- Transliteration: SANUQRI’UKA FALAA TANSAAA.
- English: We will make you recite so you shall not forget
- Urdu: ہم عنقریب تمہیں اس طرح پڑھائیں گے کہ بھول نہ سکو گے۔

- Arabic: اِلَّا مَا شَاۗءَ اللهُ اِنَّهٗ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفٰى
- Transliteration: ILLAA MAA SHAAA’AL LAAH; INNAHOO YA’LAMUL JAHRA WA MAA YAKHFAA.
- English: Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden.
- Urdu: مگر یہ کہ خدا ہی چاہے کہ وہ ہر ظاہر اور مخفی رہنے والی چیز کو جانتا ہے۔

- Arabic: وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرٰى
- Transliteration: WA NU-YASSIRUKA LILYUSRAA.
- English: And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease.
- Urdu: اور ہم تم کو آسان راستہ کی توفیق دیں گے۔

- Arabic: فَذَكِّرْ اِن نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكْرٰى
- Transliteration: FAZAKKIR IN NAFA’ATIZZIKRAA.
- English: Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit.
- Urdu: لہذا لوگوں کو سمجھاؤ اگر سمجھانے کا فائدہ ہو۔

- Arabic: سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنْ يَّخْشٰى
- Transliteration: SA YAZZAKKARU MAIYAKHSHAA.
- English: He who fears will mind
- Urdu: عنقریب خوفِ خدا رکھنے والا سمجھ جائے گا۔

- Arabic: وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْاَشْقٰى
- Transliteration: WA YATAJANNABUHAL ASHQAA.
- English: And the most unfortunate one will avoid it
- Urdu: اور بدبخت اس سے کنارہ کشی کرے گا۔

- Arabic: اَلَّذِيْ يَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرٰى
- Transliteration: ALLAZEE YASLAN NAARAL KUBRAA.
- English: Who shall enter the great fire;
- Urdu: جو بہت بڑی آگ میں جلنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوْتُ فِيْهَا وَلَا يَحْيٰى
- Transliteration: SUMMA LAA YAMOOTU FEEHAA WA LAA YAHYAA.
- English: Then therein he shall neither live nor die.
- Urdu: پھر نہ اس میں زندگی ہے نہ موت۔

- Arabic: قَدْ اَفْلَحَ مَنْ تَزَكّٰی
- Transliteration: QAD AFLAHA MAN TAZAKKAA.
- English: He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself
- Urdu: بے شک پاکیزہ رہنے والا کامیاب ہو گیا۔

- Arabic: وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهٖ فَصَلّٰى
- Transliteration: WA ZAKARAS MA RABBIHEE FASALLAA.
- English: And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays.
- Urdu: جس نے اپنے رب کے نام کی تسبیح کی اور پھر نماز پڑھی۔

- Arabic: بَلْ تُؤْثِرُوْنَ الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَا
- Transliteration: BAL TU’SIROONAL HAYAATAD DUNYAA.
- English: Nay! you prefer the life of this world
- Urdu: لیکن تم لوگ زندگانی دنیا کو مقدم رکھتے ہو۔

- Arabic: وَالْاٰخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَّاَبْقٰى
- Transliteration: WAL AAKHIRATU KHAIRUNW WA ABQAA.
- English: While the hereafter is better and more lasting.
- Urdu: جب کہ آخرت بہتر اور ہمیشہ رہنے والی ہے۔

- Arabic: اِنَّ هٰذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الْاُوْلٰى
- Transliteration: INNA HAAZAA LAFIS SUHU FIL OOLAA.
- English: Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures
- Urdu: یہ بات تمام پہلے صحیفوں میں بھی موجود ہے۔

- Arabic: صُحُفِ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَمُوْسٰى
- Transliteration: SUHUFI IBRAAHEEMA WA MOOSAA.
- English: The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa.
- Urdu: ابراہیمؑ کے صحیفوں میں بھی اور موسٰیؑ کے صحیفوں میں بھی۔

- Transliteration: SADAQALLAHUL ALIYYUL AZEEM
- English: Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.
- Urdu: اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
