### Expansion (Makki)

- Arabic: بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
- Transliteration: BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM
- English: In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
- Urdu: اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

- Arabic: اَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ
- Transliteration: ALAM NASHRAH LAKA SADRAK.
- English: Have We not expanded for you your breast
- Urdu: کیا ہم نے آپ کے سینہ کو کشادہ نہیں کیا۔

- Arabic: وَوَضَعْنَا عَنْكَ وِزْرَكَ
- Transliteration: WA WA D’ANA ’ANKA WIZRAK.
- English: And taken off from you your burden
- Urdu: اور کیا آپ کے بوجھ کو اتار نہیں لیا۔

- Arabic: اَلَّذِيْٓ اَنْقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ
- Transliteration: ALLAZEE ANQADA ZAHRAK.
- English: Which pressed heavily upon your back
- Urdu: جس نے آپ کی کمر کو توڑ دیا تھا۔

- Arabic: وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ
- Transliteration: WA RAF ’ANA LAKA ZIKRAK.
- English: And exalted for you your esteem?
- Urdu: اور آپ کے ذکر کو بلند کر دیا۔

- Arabic: فَاِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
- Transliteration: FA INNA MA’AL USRI YUSRA.
- English: Surely with difficulty is ease.
- Urdu: ہاں زحمت کے ساتھ آسانی بھی ہے۔

- Arabic: اِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
- Transliteration: INNA MA’AL ’USRI YUSRA.
- English: With difficulty is surely ease.
- Urdu: بے شک تکلیف کے ساتھ سہولت بھی ہے۔

- Arabic: فَاِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانْصَبْ
- Transliteration: FA IZA FARAGH TA FANSAB.
- English: So when you are free, nominate.
- Urdu: لہذا جب آپ فارغ ہو جائیں تو نصب کر دیں۔

- Arabic: وَاِلٰى رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ
- Transliteration: WA ILAA RABBIKA FAR GHAB.
- English: And make your Lord your exclusive object.
- Urdu: اور اپنے رب کی طرف رخ کریں۔

- Transliteration: SADAQALLAHUL ALIYYUL AZEEM
- English: Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.
- Urdu: اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
