# Benefits of Surah Qadr

- Instruction: Shaikh Kulayni, in Kafi, has quoted Imam Muhammad Baqir (a) as saying, “Whoever recites [Surah Qadr](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170) with audible tone, will be regarded as one who unsheathes his sword (in a battle for the sake of Almighty Allah); whoever recites it in an inaudible tone, will be regarded as one whose blood has been shed for the sake of Almighty Allah; and whoever repeats it 10 times, one thousand of his sins will be forgiven.”
- Instruction (Urdu): شیخ کلینیؒ نے امام محمد باقرؑ سے روایت کی ہے : جو شخص [سورۂ قدر](https://fzic.org/library/quran/97-qadr-5-1170) کو بآواز بلند پڑھے گا وہ ایسے ہوگا جیسے بے نیام تلوار سے راہِ خدا میں جہاد کررہا ہو جو اس سورہ کو آہستہ سے پڑھے گا وہ ایسے ہو گا جیسے راہِ خدا میں اپنے خون میں ڈوبا ہوا ہو۔ نیزجو شخص اس سورہ کو ۱۰ مرتبہ پڑھے گا تو اﷲتعالیٰ اس کے گناہوں میں سے ۱۰۰۰ گناہ مٹا دے گا۔
