# Mina

## Text

- Instruction: Mina is a land between the Wadi’e Muhassir and Jamrah’e Uqbah which is a part of the Sanctuary. It is to the east of Mecca and Mash'arul Haraam. From Jamrah’e Uqbah, the border of Mecca till Wadi’e Mahshar towards Muzdalefah is Mina. It is approximately 3600 meters long.  One reason of naming it Mina is that it was in this same vicinity that Jibraeel (a) came to Hazrat Ibrahim (a) with a message to continue to hope in Allah.
- Instruction (Urdu): منٰی، وادی محسّر اور جمرئہ عقبہ کے درمیان کی سرزمین ہے جو کہ حرم کاجزء ہے اور مکہ و مشعر الحرام کے مشرق میں واقع ہے۔ جمرئہ عقبہ مکہ کی حد آخر سے مزدلفہ کی طرف وادئ محشر تک منٰی ہے۔ اس کی لمبائی تقریباً ۳۶۰۰ میٹر ہے، اِس جگہ کو منٰی کہنے کی ایک وجہ یہ ہے کہ اِسی علاقے میں جبرائیلؑ نے حضرت ابراہیمؑ کو یہ پیغام پہنچایا کہ خدا پر امید رکھو۔
