1. Glorify God to be forgiven by Him.

7. God divided (His) Mercy into a hundred parts, keeping ninety-nine parts with Himself and letting one single part descend to the earth. It is through this very part that (His) creatures are merciful to one another, to the extent that a horse lifts its hoof lest it should hurt its colts.

8. God has made it incumbent on Himself to help and bestow blessing on the one who does the following three while relying on Him and hoping for His reward: trying to free oneself from slavery, marrying, and cultivating barren lands.
