   It is with deep sorrow that we inform the community of the sad demise of Syed Taqi Abidi, father-in-law of Syed Baqir Abidi, who passed away in Pakistan. The family has departed for Pakistan following this sad news. We kindly request all community members to recite Surah Al-Fatiha for the departed soul and pray that Almighty Allah grants him the highest ranks in Jannah under Ahl-Albait (a.s), and bestows patience and strength upon the bereaved family.    Wife of Marhoom Maulana Syed Zafaryab Ali Rizvi, and mother of Syed Abul Qasim Rizvi and family

   Passed away

   31 August 2026 (overseas)

   Janaza

   Held overseas. Please recite Surah al-Fatiha.

   Burial

   Rehmatabad Qabrastan, Mumbai

   Tadfeen (burial): Tuesday 1 September 2026 (18 Rabi ul Awwal 1448 AH), approximately 4:00 PM Mumbai time, at Rehmatabad Qabrastan, Mumbai. The burial is overseas, so there is no janaza at the Centre. Please recite Surah al-Fatiha for the Marhooma. May Allah (SWT), through the intercession of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and the Ahlul Bayt (AS), grant the Marhooma the highest ranks and a place in the proximity of Muhammad (SAW) and the Ahlul Bayt (AS).
