Madrasah
Weekend classes at the Centre — Quran, aqaid, akhlaq and the history of the Ahl al-Bayt (a), taught by age group.
Classes
The Centre is not running madrasah classes at the moment.
If classes start again they will be announced here and on the Centre’s Facebook page. You are very welcome to ask the committee about it in the meantime.
What children learn
- Quran
- Reading with correct tajweed, building up from the short surahs.
- Aqaid
- The foundations of belief, taught at the level of the age group.
- Akhlaq
- Character and conduct, drawn from the lives of the Ahl al-Bayt (a).
- History
- Karbala and the lives of the fourteen Masumeen (a).
Madrasah is run by volunteers from the community. If you can teach, or help on a Sunday morning, the Centre would be glad to hear from you.
