Add the calendar to your phone

Subscribe once and the Centre’s majalis and programmes appear in your own calendar. You only do this once — after that it keeps itself up to date, and you never have to check back.

iPhone, iPad or Mac

Add to my calendar

Tap it, then choose Subscribe.

Android or Google Calendar

Android cannot add a calendar link from the phone itself — that is a Google limitation, not the Centre’s. You do it once on a computer, and it then appears on your phone by itself.

  2. 2. On a computer, open the add-calendar page and paste it

    Go to Google Calendar › add by URL, paste the link, and press Add calendar.

  3. 3. It appears on your phone on its own

    Nothing more to do — it is now on every device signed into that Google account.

No computer handy?

You can try the same page from your phone by opening it in Chrome and turning on Desktop site (Chrome menu › Desktop site), then pasting the link. Or open it directly: add to Google Calendar — this works reliably on a computer and is hit-and-miss on a phone.

Prefer less in your calendar?

Pick one only. Adding “everything” as well as one of these shows each programme twice.

Two things worth knowing

Dates can move. A Hijri month begins when the new moon is sighted. A date the Centre has not yet confirmed appears in your calendar marked ‘date subject to moon sighting’ and is corrected in place once the month is confirmed.

New and changed programmes appear within a day. Apple usually refreshes within the hour; Google is slower, around eight hours, and neither can be hurried from our end. For anything at short notice, the calendar on this site is always the Centre’s word.
