(As for) those who take a small price for the covenant of Allah and their own oaths-surely-they shall have no portion in the hereafter, and Allah will not speak to them, nor will He look upon them on the Day of Resurrection nor will He purify them, and they shall have a painful chastisement (Surah Aale Imraan 3:77)

Imam Amir-ul-Mu'mineen Ali [a] said
"Whenever people of the earth commit sins or get involved in wrong deeds, the Almighty Allah intends to send down His chastisement on the people of the world. However when He sees elderly people praying and young children learning Quran, He feels pity on them and does not send down His chastisement."
