Before leaving the House-1

گھر سے نکلتے وقت کی دعا۔۱

1. Imam Sadiq (a) is reported to have said: When one intends to leave his house, he may say the following words just before he leaves. If he does, he will be kept under the custody of Almighty Allah until He returns him to the place he has left. Repeat the following word 3 times…

   امام جعفر صادقؑ فرماتے ہیں کہ جب کوئی شخص اپنے گھر سے باہر جانے کا ارادہ کرے تو ۳ مرتبہ کہے۔ پس وہ شخص اس وقت تک خدا کی بہتر ضمانت میں رہے گا جب تک کہ وہاں واپس نہ پہنچ جائے کہ جہاں سے روانہ ہوا تھا۔۔۔

2. اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ۔

   ALLAAHU AKBAR.

   Allah is Greatest.

   اللہ بزرگ تر ہے۔

3. Then, repeat the following statement 3 times…

   پھر ۳ مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔

4. بِاللهِ اَخْرُجُ وَبِاللهِ اَدْخُلُ وَعَلٰى اللهِ اَتَوَكَّلُ۔

   BILLAAHI AKHRUJU WABILLAAHI ADKHULU WA'ALAA ALLAAHI ATAWAKKAL.

   I leave (putting my trust) in Allah, I return (putting my trust) in Allah, and on Allah do I depend.

   خدا کے ساتھ باہر نکلتا ہوں خدا کے ساتھ اندر آتا ہوں اور خدا پر بھروسہ رکھتا ہوں۔

5. Then, say the following supplicatory statement, yet one time only…

   پھر یہ کہے۔۔۔

6. اَللّٰهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِىْ فِىْ وَجْهِىْ هٰذَا بِخَيْرٍ وَاخْتِمْ لِىْ بِخَيْرٍ وَقِنِىْ شَرَّ كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ اَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا اِنَّ رَبِّىْ عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA IFTAH LEE FEE WAJHEE HAAZAA BIKHAYRIN WAKHTIM LEE BIKHAYRIN WAQINEE SHARRA KULLI DAABBATIN ANTA AAKHIZUN BINAASIYATIHAA INNA RABBEE 'ALAA SIRAATIN MUSTAQEEM.

   O Allah, (please) grant me easiness in the beginning of this affair of mine, seal it for me with easiness, and guard me against the evil of every living creature that You hold by its forelock. Surely, my Lord is on the right path.

   اے معبود میرے اس کام میں بھلائی کی راہ کھول دے اور اس کا انجام بہتر کر دے اور مجھے ہر حرکت کرنے والے کے شر سے بچا جس کی مہار تیرے ہاتھ میں ہے بے شک میرا رب سیدھے راستے پر ہے۔
