1. In his book of Muqni’ah, Shaikh Mufid has mentioned the following supplicatory prayer to be said after every prayer…

   شيخ مفيدؒ نے مقنعہ میں تعقيبات نماز کے سلسلے میں لکھا ہے کہ ہر نماز کے بعد يہ دُعا پڑھے۔۔۔

2. اَللّٰهُمَّ انْفَعْنَا بِالْعِلْمِ وَزَيِّنَّا بِالْحِلْمِ وَجَمِّلْنَا بِالْعَافِيَةِ وَكَرِّمْنَا بِالتَّقْوٰى اِنَّ وَلِيِّىَ اللهُ الَّذِىْ نَزَّلَ الْكِتَابَ وَهُوَ يَتَوَلَّى الصَّالِحِيْنَ۔

   ALLAAHUM-MAN F’A-NAA BIL’ILME WA ZAIYYE-NAA BIL HIL-ME WA JAMMIL-NAA BIL ‘AAFE-YATE WA KARRIM-NAA BIT-TAQWAA INNA WALIYYAL LAAHUL LAZEE NAZZA-LAL KITAABA WA HOWA YATA-WALLAS SAALE-HEEN.

   O Allah, benefit us through knowledge; adorn us with forbearance; beautify us with well-being; and honor us with piety. Surely my Protector is Allah He who sent down the Book and He takes care of the righteous.

   اے معبود !ہميں علم کے ذريعے فائده دے ،حلم سے مزين فرما ،عافيت کی زيبائی بخش اور تقویٰ کے ذريعے معزز فرما يقيناً ميرا مددگار وه الله ہے جس نے کتاب نازل فرمائی اور وه نيکوکاروں کی مدد کرتا ہے۔
