Dua at the time of Loneliness-1

خوف و تنہائی میں دعا۔۱

1. It is reported that when a man complained to Imam Sadiq (a) about loneliness, the Imam (a) said: May I lead you to a prayer that if you say, you will not feel lonely neither at nights nor in daytimes? It is this prayer. It is reported that a man used to say this supplicatory prayer for 30 years incessantly, but when he ignored it at a certain night, he was stung by a scorpion at that night…

   روایت نقل ہوئی ہے کہ ایک شخص نے امام جعفر صادق ؑ سے اپنی وحشت وتنہائی کی شکا یت کی تو آپ نے فرمایا:آیا میں تمہیں وہ چیز نہ بتاؤں کہ جسے تم پڑھو تو رات یا دن میں کسی بھی وقت تمہیں ڈرنہ لگے تووہ دعا یہ ہے۔ روایت میں آیا ہے: ایک شخص متواتر ۳ برس تک یہ دعا پڑھتا رہا لیکن ایک رات اسے نہ پڑھا تو بچھو نے اسے ڈس لیا۔۔۔

2. بِسْمِ اللهِ وَبِاللهِ وَتَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ اِنَّهٗ مَنْ يَّتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهٗ اِنَّ اللهَ بَالِغُ اَمْرِهٖ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِىْ فِىْ كَنَفِكَ وَفِىْ جِوَارِكَ وَاجْعَلْنِىْ فِىْ اَمَانِكَ وَفِىْ مَنْعِكَ۔

   BISMILLAA-HE WA BILLAA-HE WA TAWAKKAL-TO ‘ALAL LAAHE INNA-HU MAIY YATA-WAKKAL ‘ALAL LAAHE FA-HOWA HASBO-HU INNAL LAAHA BAALE-GHO AMRE-HI QAD JA’ALAL LAAHO LE-KULLE SHAIY-IN QADRAN. ALLAAHUM-MAJ ‘ALNEE FEE KANA-FEKA WA FEE JE-WAARE-KA WAJ’ALNEE FEE AMAANE-KA WA FEE MAN’EK.

   In the Name of Allah, in Allah (I trust), and on Allah do I rely. Verily, whoever trusts in Allah, He is sufficient for him. Surely, Allah attains His purpose. Allah indeed has appointed a measure for everything. O Allah, (please) put me under Your shade and in Your vicinity and put me under Your security and in Your shield.

   خدا کے نام سے خدا کی ذات سے میرا بھروسہ خدا پر ہے یقیناً جو بھی خدا پر بھروسہ رکھتا ہے تو وہ اس کے لئے کافی ہو تا ہے ضرور خدا اپنے کام پر حاوی ہے یقیناً خدا نے قرار دیا ہے ہر چیز کا اندازہ۔ اے معبود !مجھے اپنے آستانے پر اور اپنے قریب رکھ اور مجھ کو اپنی پناہ اور حفاظت میں قرار دے۔

3. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN

   Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
